My guess is that the jackpot was won by a Scandinavian player at one of the Betsson brands. That's how it usually goes down.

The sidebar graphics and numbers showing the current amount of NetEnt jackpots were gone for the most of the day at Betsson and Betsafe, and Paf Casino jackpot sidebar numbers are still frozen to what they were on the morning. On smaller casinos not listed there the sidebar graphics and number worked normally. So it seems that there was some sort of attempt to get this game going at the mentioned casinos, but for whatever reason, it is not up yet.

So I think they tried to get Mega Fortune Dreams up yesterday, but they couldn't figure out how to do it without removing the old Mega Fortune, which is no longer available at casinos that have MF Dreams. Removing old MF when the jackpot was over 5.5 million euros and replacing it with MFD seeding at 400k euro would have made some customers pretty angry.

Since the old MF was growing almost at rate of 1 million euros a week, it was going to be won in all likelihood soon anyway, they decided to wait until it was won, so that they could take the old MF down, or until they could figure out how to add MFD without having to take MF down.

I imagined that it would have been more profitable to keep them both up, and in addition to that, make them share the jackpot pool, so that it would grow even faster. Having different bet sizes should not have been issue for sharing the jackpot pool, of the 4 Mega Moolah pool games, some have max bet of only 6 currency when other have 25 currency.

But NetEnt and casinos must have more data and more motivation to do more in-depth market research and calculations than I do, so I guess there is some point in what they did.

If the plan was not to feed the tin foil hatters then it would probably have been a good idea to announce this plan ahead of the jackpot being hit. The way this played out is probably the worst possible scenario from a perspective of a player who might think games are being rigged.

Those emails start to come usually when the jackpot is already pretty big, the bigness of the jackpot and those emails cause it to be played more, so it can be safe bet that it will be won soon.

The jackpot was won by a Swede when it was worth of 52 million Swedish kronor. Maybe he was exited that it had passed nice treshold of 50 million SEK, and had gotten some email from Unibet about how hot and big it was, and inspired by those he played it more than usually.

Sometimes the safe bet isn't that safe though. I think I got the first emails about the Mega Fortune jackpot being hot and about to fall in October 2012 when it was like 5 million euros and it was won in late January 2013 when it was almost 18 million euros.

Its only down to opions but having a wife that see the games results day in and day out (And Banned me from playing Netent) Mainly bassed on high rate winging customers always moaning about the games althou she does see they dont perform like MG or Blueprint.

As for personnel thoughts regarding MG or IR as its the game i mostly go for my personnel RTP as never dropped below 98.3 on this game and thats over a few years and many 1000's worth of playing. I now have to loss 300-400 in a poor fashion to make much difference to that rtp so its not a figure plucked out of a few spins

Inner workings of game is a no, Id guess thats the same for most casino's but not 100% sure.

Im going on the amount of times the contact window pops up (Live help) and theres a moaning customer moaning about no game time,rigged slots etc when viewing play history there history his mostly filled with Netent slots. where as when the withdrawels go in they have minimal Netent involved.

Thats not saying some have not cashed out on netent as she seen some large cashouts coming from slots like reel rush just tend to be a lot more cash outs made from players avoiding netent.

One thing i can say dispite as much as i would like to say the casino rigged the games at times myself i cant as i havnt seen anything on her software that would allow her to. The play really does come from the vender

I can see why there is alot of complaints regarding netent, their newer slots are just horribly volatile. Seams all their new slots supposed high or low variance games share one common feature; Lots and lots of dead spins..

I also find it kinda strange that they announced that Mega Fortune Dreams was to launch in July and lo and behold the regular Mega Fortune jackpot drops at the same time Makes me wonder... Maybe they cannot decide who and exactley when it drops, but maybe they can program it to be more likely to drop within a certain time frame.

I dont belive the casinos themselves can influence anything if it is anything going on its done by the software provider.. Remember they have the IP address of your computer when you are playing. Lets say you hit big on one slot at a certain casino and netent has your account/IP in their logs and your global RTP is adjusted accordingly.
