So I got a mail today that Euro Palace would be closing and my account migrated to another casino. I thought it was probably a spam because of the typo and the 'online gaming sphere' so checked the link and it's marketingsolutions(dot)info and redirects to Casino Room, so it's obviously an affiliate.

The weird thing is that it has my name and includes my actual Euro Palace account number. Spoke to support and of course they're not closing and they confirmed that it's actually my account number too.

Dear Cindy,

We are sorry to inform you of the closure of Euro Palace Casino.

Your account (epr000-------) was migrated to our new online gaming sphere, kindly confirm your registration below:

Euro Palace Support

Pretty unhanded marketing. I'm guessing all EuroPalace accounts begin 'epr000' so they jsut added that to make it look more official?

One obvious concern is how the account number, name, and email address managed to leak from Europalace in the first place. This dodgy affiliate has not only gotten hold of data that according to the law Euro Palace should have kept secure, but is using it in a way that will cause players at Euro Palace to switch to the new casino believing this is an official migration. Hopefully, the fact that this is going to cost Euro Palace money, rather than merely cause irritation to players via spam, should galvanise them into taking this matter very seriously.

Have you contacted Casino Room - that's a major breach on the part of their one of their affiliates and I'd be wanting answers as to how the aff has your EP account number.....

Just thought I'd mention that I've not heard a peep from the Casino Room aff program since I contacted them about this.

On a brighter note, I also shot a PM to fortunelounge, who found it concerning and asked for a copy of the mail. Perhaps Wim can get to the bottom of it.
