Do you ever press 'stop' (if available) when playing slots, or do you always let them ride?
If so, why? Save time, for luck, boredom, or something else?

I do occasionally, normally when a slot is annoying me and I just want to get away from it :D

Yes, I do it quite a lot on RTG, and to a lesser extent on NetEnt.
It's mainly to save time - all I want is the bonus rounds and so if the scatter (or whatever) hasn't hit on the first reel or 2 I just want to get on with the next spin!

If I do get the symbol I want I do prefer to let the other reels spin at normal speed. I know it doesn't make any difference to the final outcome, but it adds to the drama and excitement of the games for me.

I occasionally use full turbo mode - but not very often.

add me to those that stop to *enjoy* the bonus rounds fully. Online I am always turbo mode and generally playing multiple sites at a time. The ability to just auto play and then bounce from bonus round to bonus round on the multiple screens is a big rush.

I do the same thing in B&M casinos. When I hit a big drawn VP hand, say 4 deuces in DDB and I know its a big win and I want to really savor it and see how many kickers I can get to really pump up the win, I go slow and enjoy every little *ping* that adds to my win.

I am sure it drives people around me crazy -- but its my pleasure.

Guilty..:o

Especially on RTG, when I get 2 scatters I usually cant resist hitting that spacebar..
And then hope for the scatterbells to ring!!:D

LOTR also has this stop funktion, but I only use it in case of 2 rings..
It usually eats my balance fast enough already without speeding things up like that!;)

lol it's usually frustration and time to find another slot:mad:

Same here. If a slot is giving me nothing but garbage spin after spin, frustration builds and clicks get faster. Click click f@#$ click click f@#$ next! :D

Once in a while I stop them just goofing around trying to stop it on a third scatter (I know it doesn't work that way).

No, it doesn't work that way, but it can be fun fooling yourself into thinking that it does work that way.;)

:D:D

I am different because I actually enjoy seeing the reels spinning and spinning, I find it strangely theaputic. Ever since I was playing UK fruites at the seaside I have always enjoyed seeing the reels spin as much as the wins. On a slot I really like such as Enchanted Garden or Scary Rich 2 I really appreciate the graphics and sounds.

I could never pump them on turbo for bonus rounds as I don't really play slots for the money, it's more like a donation thing with me!

My last few RTG sessions I didn't even open windows media player so I'm playing super slllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwww.

Seems like it's the only way to make my deposit last these days. :o

Me, too. I am a low roller and want my money to last (entertainment?) but on occasion I hit stop. My computer sounds like it's guts are being torn out! I do not like that sound or feeling.

I tried turbo play at 3Dice a while back and didn't care for it either. Slow and easy for this old broad!! :D

have anyone else notice if u stop spinning on NetEnt casino game's like piggy riches slot gives a extra delay before stop reels when spin are going to give u a winning?

I didn't notice that myself, but I'll test it out. What I did notice however was on Viking's Treasure (NetEnt also) - as soon as you press stop, any winning that will result are immediately added to your balance (even before the reels actually stop).

I am the exact opposite :D I let them spin normally until I have 2 bonus symbols then I stop the reels hoping to see the 3rd LOL

Just a quick note to those who are saying it has no affect.

It will not make an iota of difference to the spin you are on but it will make a difference to the result on the next spin as you will be getting a different result on the RNG to what you would have had if you waited a couple of seconds longer before the spin.

It will not affect the RTP at all.

If you are playing the RTG, or any, random jackpot games, it will give a slight advantage due to the way they pay. If, say, a jackpot is due to pay at 7,125, the person that has the bet that puts the jackpot on 7,125 is the one that wins it, if you are spinning faster when it is due to pay you will have more chances at being that player. A higher staking player will have a higher advantage because his contribution to the jackpot is bigger therefore covering a wider range.

The jackpot trigger amount, in this case 7,125, is determined randomly when the jackpot resets after a win.

For me it depends on how I am playing - if gambling with laptop on my knee I am in the "get two bonus symbols and whack the space bar" crowd (Although I do make the mistake of pushing the space bar on MG sometimes which means I bet MAX - hasnt paid off so far!) or if I am having a few beers might hook the laptop up via HDMI to the big screen and have music playing, so in that case I will have another sip when I get two bonus symbols :)

I always stop the reels mid spin. I have ADHD so waiting for them stopping on their own annoy the crap outta me:D

It's much quicker than Turbo play and the slots are random so yes I use it often. Especially on Mice Dice, Coat of Arms, and Count Spectacular.

In tournament play it isn't available but hammering on the space bar makes some spins go very fast with obvious advantage.
