This is an article I read on Casinoroom.com. Can you make living playing slots? They say they're not really random and possible to predict outcome. 96% to 99% RTP lol those days are gone.

Perhaps in the past you could've made a living playing the slots by hunting and playing the best bonuses. Nowadays bonuses are scarce, and what we have, come with ridiculous wagering requirements and rules.

That article to my eyes is a load of bullshit though. Predict the outcome? the RNG in the background is drawing millions of outcomes every second, and the outcome is determined when you push spin. How on earth could you beat that and predict when to push the button? And even if it were possible, the spin isn't necessarily determined the moment you push spin as you have to account for network delays and whatnot.

This isn't Press Your Luck where you can visually see the outcome and cheat the system if you're good enough like that one guy ..

PS. There are still casinos who run 96% and above RTP on their slots. In fact the outfit iGame was part of runs a "supercasino" with a select few slots on their site with 98%+ RTP.

The older mechanical slot machines used to be able to be rigged quite easily.

There is absolutely no way a modern day computer RNG can be predicted.

I don’t agree at all with the fact that all is randomly generated when you push the spin button. It’s only theorical but you never see that in practice. Maybe on some slots but in the selection I play I can clearly see after few spins if the slot is ´cold’ or ´hot’. There’s clear moments whatever you do, close and relaunch the game x times the game is ´cold’ and will not give you anything good and grind from your small losses. There’s in contrary clear moments when you log on to the game and games are giving a lot more. So this conception of completely random every time you push the spin button is a misconsception only unexperimented players can presume. I don’t say we can predict the wins and losses but we can at least avoid to play too much when it’s not hot and optimise grinding when the machine is ´hot’. It requires good experience with the slot to be able to manage that, and of course a good resilience with our ego. Accepting to stop playing a day to retry a bit later. With all these years I’m convinced as well some casino can increase your winning chance based on your personal profile to let you win after a deposit and then after few wins take back everything. It’s a kind of psychological manipulation, these things will be never tell publicly and again I witnessed that by experience.

Obviously you can make a living through online gambling.
Its called starting a casino.
Easy.
That's quite a lot of work, in last 10 years many have done quite a lot just by buying and selling listed gaming companies shares, if little bit familiar with industry it haven't been really rocket science to have educated guess what to buy and what to sell. Include much less hassle and stress than starting casino and try to make it profitable in current climate of competition and regulations. And of course you can get bit same feeling than these famous streamers when you make money from others losses :)
