what is the difference between slots and progressives?

should i play one vs the other?

Progressive jackpots are the large Jackpots. This means that every time a player makes a spin of such then the progressive pot will rise in value which make the jackpots huge.

Slots have a set maximum win depending on your stake. But a progressive can be won off the minimum bet.

so on slots the more you bet per spin the more you will win where as on progressives you can bet the minimum and you win the same? as if you were doing a larger bet?

Yes correct. But please be aware that most of the progressive jackpots out there. You will have bigger chance winning them the more you bet.

But of course would not suggest you chase any progressive jackpot. Chance is very very small. Actually would say chance is bigger that you win 5 max possible wins on normal slots in one day, than winning a big progressive jackpot

Regarding the progressives yes. You can win the Jackpot from minimum bet.


With Slot games the higher your bet then of course the larger you can win. But each stake has a different maximum potential win.

So to also answer this question. Clearly if playing RTG. I would suggest find out which of the "smaller" Jackpot slots has the highest. Stay of the progressive jackpot slots and stick to the normal "Random Jackpot" slots. They all have different amounts. But many slots are grouped so will have same random jackpot attached to them if you use the overview then you can see this.
Then look for group of slots where random jackpot is highest and try them. Bet size also does not matter. Yes the higher bet the bigger chance. But no not really just bet what you can afford. I would suggest best with $1 a spin. But heard about lot of winners betting lowest bet per spin. Yes even not all lines at minimum.

I would say yes. though some people/players swear to not play all lines and instead increase bet size and fewer lines. It works good on rtg slots because of the max win of 50.000 x line stake.

But overall I would say always best to bet on all lines and I know most players would agree on this.

Yes by a long way. It would be a shame to get a full screen of wilds and only be paid for one line. You would never forgive yourself lol
