I received via mail a FREE NO DEPOSIT BONUS of $150 at Slots Oasis Casino - their "special gift" for the relaunch of the casino. Has anyone else received the same and what is the current status of Slots Oasis. I played there quite often several years ago and had fairly good luck and no problems with withdrawals, etc. Of course, then they were rouged and I no longer played there. Anyone have comments .

they were offline????
i didnt got anything special today

only the usual weekly bonuses like all the weeks
i dont play there since they pass to rogue here but i never unsubscribed

I received the same offer, too.

$150. Of course I am playing it. Why not? I am trying out the new slot. I am broke and I am 'up' right now. LOL..That's my answer and I am going to withdraw the allowable max of $750.. after resending in docs and back and forth with CS.

What a nice Christmas present!.. Or maybe Easter?...Ok, Relaunch may be a good sign, let's see.;)

What did they say about the relaunch? New management? Unless they had a huge injection of funds this may just be another ploy to entice players to deposit as verification and screw'em later on. After all that has happened I don't trust them one bit. If they are sincere about it they should take the bull by the horns and ask for accreditation from Bryan. If they pass the acid test here then maybe ..... just maybe.

I played it too and had a ball. Lost it all but as you said, it was a freebie. I like freebies. Gives you a lot of practice on the slots!

The letter is very plain. It simply states:

Dear Jane,

Celebrate the Slots Oasis relaunch party with our special gift...

A SCRATCH CARD CONTAINING A FREE NO DEPOSIT BONUS WORTH ANYWHERE FROM $50, UP TO $250!

Simply scratch off to reveal your prize.

Contact our 24/7 CS support to redeem your prize and get spinning

THOMAS AND CHARLIE

I got one for Pure Vegas, it came with $150 attached.

I got to looking around at the site tho, no real mention of cash out options. Nor do they have a very well explained banking section either.

The terms and conditions, don't seem to explain much, other than referencing to an extinct UseMyWallet and Credit Card restriction.

In my opinion, nothing has really changed, other than a huge make over.

Making there applying too much rouge, to make a rogue casino looking prettier. Who knows.

I've decided to skip the lines for the bonus, and really I don't think it's worth the hassle. If anyone is lucky enough to cash out, I would be interested to find out if anyone actually does get paid within oh say a month.

What a pretty color of rouge there using as well.

I made the playthrough and waited 4 days for a reply to my withdrawel of $ 709 ( Beware, when you make the playthrough, the balance automatically reduces to the max. allowable withdrawel..i.e my balance was 1200, then after a couple of further spins, reduced to 750 (the max on a 150 nd bonus...also a 40 dollar charge for a wire).

The email stated that it was declined because of ommision of zip code for bank.

Resubmitted and now it is ' in progress'.

I really want this group to come back to accredited status. Let's see.

You might be paid especially since you posted here but I doubt whether they will ever make it to accredited status again. Hell, they will be lucky not to get rogued. They had infinite chances in the past to come good. Lots of promises but in the end they just tried to make use of the forum.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially because it's mentioned here. I thought Slots Oasis was already rogue though? Its listed under the Rushmore group on the rogue list?

Also completely off topic, i thought Tropica was added to the not reccomended list for customer support on crack? They arent there anymore?

It would be a good thing for them to watch this forum. When they were still in the accredited list (during the Louise, reign;) ,at least she did her best to deal with our complaints, mainly very slow payment issues.)

If this a genuine re-launch, (and I am hoping it is an attempt by them to retrieve lost customers and back into favor with us), then I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I was a very loyal customer a few years back, so I am sure they are trying to get back into the good guy list....because rogue only 'works' for so long.

I am hoping that a new rep will be able to have the backing from this casino to carry any problems from customers to better management resolutions.

Glad I read this thread. Last week a rep from Rushmore called me and said we would like to offer you 250 percent match. You were a VIP and we would like you business back. When I was done laughing, I asked if they cleared the backlog of unpaid players up and I was told YES. This is no longer an issue and all players have been paid.. At that point I could not stop laughing and I think that's when he hung up on me or maybe it was me dropping the phone from rolling on the floor doubled over and saying that's the best joke I've heard in a long time. ....

Its a shame you're getting sucked in just because they sent you a freebie.

Rushmore have done this in the past several times...I would not support their removal from the pit or their addition to the accredited list, as they will do it all over again. Its part of their MO...get back in the "good books", and then the huge delays start and yada yada yada.

IMO taking a freebie from them is no different from taking one from V1rtual.

I just can't believe that anyone....especially long time members...would get sucked in like this.

I understand why you said that.

Re-launch, to me, suggests new management.

I am not a sucker but I do believe in redemption and it was a free chip, so why not?

I am just relaying my experience , thus far, with the 're-launch' and to see where this goes.

If I get another email tomorrow about another 'delay' then it's done with.

No skin off my nose.

It is up to them to step up and admit any past problems but so far, they haven't.

Let's see.

I would like to add, though, that they have a long way to go before I would deposit with them.

I am simply relaying the progress of their payment time and if and what their problems are with my withdrawel.

I would not approve this casino chain to anyone new,old or senile, so far.

They have so much to change and to prove their credibility.

I just have ...sigh...memories.

This has been a 'senior moment' member message.

I firmly believe you will hold your nerve and not deposit with them.

I do not object to long-time members taking a free chip from them as we could then know whether they have 'derogued' themselves. I deposited at several 'Virtual' casinos a few years back as I wanted to know what they were doing to survive. In the end I knew more about them through my paltry deposits of $30(minimum).

If you cannot resist the temptation of huge bonuses and aiming for the 'big wins' don't deposit as you wont get paid IMHO.

As the saying goes' If you cant beat them, join 'em ' though its a twisted version lol.

Thanks for your faith in me, Chu.

I agree with you Secret 100% on why not. It's a free chip, your not depositing. If you won and get paid, that's awesome, if you won and don't get paid your not out of pocket, so who cares?

Like you said..."no skin off your nose".

I don't believe your getting "sucked in"...you played a free chip, big deal.

This line worries me a bit, I'm hoping it doesn't mean if you get paid you will deposit. They may not pay the next time ya know?

Keeping fingers crossed for you to get paid, that's a nice chunk of change.

Thanks JP!:)

No, they would have to get back in the Accredited list before I deposit with them and also a rep that visits here and listens to any concerns, as Louise did before, until the weakest link ( which wasn't her), broke.

They have a lot of work to do, I am hoping they will do so.

So, my withdrawel (wire) is on it's way.

To me the 2 days for payment is akin to 2 years or never. We have seen this from Rushmore before. The tip of the iceberg gets paid and the rest left in limbo. Only when they start paying in good time regularly and after some large payments can we start thinking they may have changed. Honestly, by the way they dangled these 'NDB' carrots in front of players, I am highly skeptical/ Glad you got paid though Secret.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. Some of you must have a screw or two loose in your heads.

Senior members being suckered into the biggest sucker game on the Internet. Woo woo - you got your "free" money - and they have your personal info (to include real name, home address, phone numbers, and possibly banking info). Don't think these guys won't sell your info to the highest bidder, and it's you who are keeping these guys in business. :what:

What gets me is that there are scores of newbies who read these threads and will get suckered in as well - figuring senior members know what they're doing. Well you don't.

What gets me is when newbies read the owner of the forum saying his own members have a screw loose. Not cool. Really not cool. You could have left that part out. Seriously.

They were accredited by you before, they already have some members personal info don't they? So, if someone here got some "free" money, who cares, they already have his or her info without even playing this nd bonus correct?

Bryan, You cannot really blame some members for fondly remembering the good old days of Louise. Even you gave them the benefit of the doubt when they promised all players will be paid. It was discovered later that this was to pull the wool over your eyes and make use of this forum to salvage their reputation. I have full faith in the experienced members' integrity and resolve and believe they wont deposit to feed the crooks. They all have a soft spot but such is human nature.

Sorry for coming across being blunt and snippy with my previous statement, but it's quite frustrating when you see people who should know better feed the companies that tarnish this industry. They were accredited a few years ago when they had it together. Believe me, they are not being run by the same people.

I remember her fondly as well, but she left a long long time ago.

Sorry from me as well. As you know all too well :o, this is my pet peeve.

When threads like this are posted, I wish there was a way all the complaint links are automatically posted with it as well. This way newbies who just scan and see a free chip can also see the problems with receiving such gifts. Actually this threads title deserves bright red neon flashing sign " saying don't fall for it" .

Just a note: When a casino calls a USA player to try and get business I know to stay the hell away. To me it just shows their desperation. When my mailbox is filled with spam and computer disks jam my snail mailbox it tells me to run away... Desperation is what I see...Take the hint.

In 6 months there will be a new thread saying who got my info and look at this charge.. or the spam I'm getting is unreal...:D

Just a note to Bryan-- I get it and I understand your frustration. You have to clean the mess up when everyone starts running to you because they didn't get paid. So to me you have every right to be short with people. To quote Forest Gump, because I think there may be some on this thread "stupid is as stupid does".

I agree, some people will also sell their souls for money.

No I wasnt referring to anyone in particular here. I was just saying people will go for anything, Including selling their souls. Would anyone here sell their soul? I dunno, but if the shoe fits...

Well I guess I am on the idiot list like secret2..I received the free money and played it.. and yes I made the 7500.00 playthru and can now attempt to withdraw it..However, reading all these posts, I am a bit heistant..But, hey, 750.00 is a lot..I know what you senior members think, so you do not need to attack me also.

i think that (newbies and seniors) that received this bonus should play it
afterall, to receive the bonus, the casino already have your details, if not you would not receive it

its free cash, so try it, cashout by someway that you dont have to give your bank account details directly to the casino

if the casino pays you, fine, if the casino dot pays you, its rogue, but its free money, so its not form your pocket

First off senior members are not attacking, we are just trying to explain that this group has had the reputation of screwing over many people. The more people that play there the longer they stay in business. Is it really worth a free chip? You may get your money but what about the next person that signs up? The only way to get rid of this casino is to not play at said casino...

Senior members have been around the block a few times - especially with this group of casinos.

Back in the day when Lightening Louise was a posting Rep , you could not ask for a better casino , players getting paid and Louise making sure that all concerns were taken care of, gaming was good , then something happened and like so many other casinos they crashed and burned before our eyes.

I do not begrudge any player from taking advantage of a free chip , hell I would even like to see them get their crap together and get back on top but that is wish full thinking and older members know this.

When I see a Rep come on this board and face the music and plead their case before this forum , then and only then would I consider ever playing there again but not a Rep has come forward and this makes me think they have not changed and that is such a shame , they had it all at one time and lost it just as fast as they came and then went !!

As far as the soul selling for a free chip , that's harsh words there and just who are you to judge another players actions in that manner, pretty rude imo , not cool at all !!!

Laurie

IMO taking a freebie from them is no different from taking one from V1rtual.

I just can't believe that anyone....especially long time members...would get sucked in like this.

I can't believe what I'm reading here. Some of you must have a screw or two loose in your heads.

We've got a Federal Election out here (AU) soon. With that, the candidates all crawl out from under their rocks, kiss babies and make wild promises they'll never keep, if elected. It's the same BS every 4 years or so. Yet most people still get suckered in. They forget the bad times, broken promises and how politicians are very similar to those who sell (errr flog) used cars.

From CM's perspective and other long standing members, it must be very frustrating to watch some members who should know better, to see them accepting a freebie chip and posting about it. Doing this your essentially supporting and giving credence to that rogue casino. imo, your being played for a chump.

I recommend a moment of chill. Rhetoric like "sell your soul" and "idiot list" are a little over the top and -- I respectfully suggest -- pointlessly inflamatory.

The point that a few of us have been trying to make here is that ND bonuses and their respective payouts are being given for one reason: to generate positive buzz.

In other words if you take it, play it, win, WD and get paid that's great but try not to lose your perspective in the process. If you follow all that up with a post on this forum, or any other for that matter, saying "these guys were great!" then you've just become their muppet for the price of the bonus. The whole point of the bonus offer was to get people to do this -- free advertising -- and that's what some of us are objecting to.

There's a big difference between saying "played and got paid. Love these guys!" and "wouldn't go near them because of their track record". The first is being a sucker and a muppet -- they bought your endorsment for peanuts AND got you to help them white-wash the past shenanigans AND they have more player info they can sell to whomever is willing to pay -- the latter is showing a little savvy about how the real world actually works. I reckon it's not much of a surprise that the latter approach is what we're trying to encourage here.
