I'm kind of curious of how often the auto play feature is used by everyone..

Cheers
Andreas

I don't use it all the time only mostly when i'm on a losing streak and nothings happening - certainly a very handy feature.

Nothing better to do?!

Ok...I admit it....I like watching the reels go round and round and round and zzzzz.....Oh yeah, where was I? Watching the reels go round and round and round.....

Seriously though, I mean it. I very very rarely use the auto play feature on slots, as for me, part of the fun in playing is the anticipation of what is happening now, and what may happen on the next spin, and I want to see it in real time, not have to go into the players log and re-live it there.

If I had missed actually seeing my $6000 win on Kanga Cash, or my $5000 win on Cool Bananas, I never would have experienced that incredible moment of heart-stopping disbelief.

So as someone once said to me...nothing better to do, Loganberry?

Nope!

I hit the 5-spin or 10-spin button almost all the time. Seems like the scatters come in on the first spin of a new round more often than the rest of the spins in my experiences.

I don't use it too often...usually I'll hit the 10 spin when I need to freshen my drink. And if I need a new drink, then it's a 25 spin play. If I've had too much to drink, maybe a 50 spinner, lol.

looks like the ones what never or sometimes using the auto play feature are slightly ahead...
there are only 38 votes now, and I'm a little surprised about the outcome right now... but it's to early to see a trend....
we'll see if we get some more votes together...

Thanks to anyone who voted allready...

Nah yer doing it wrong Loganberry :) Set the Autoplay to 50 spins and the "Stop if the win exceeds..." checkbox to $100. Then you always see the good wins. Its so much easier - I'd never go back to manual spinning now...no way. :D

Oh yeah - you cant set the "Stop When" in Crypto - damn annoying. I spin manually there on the rare occasions i venture in. Frustratingly slow to play it that way though.

I used to use Autoplay all the time. I was after the big wins, not much caring what else happened on screen. Well, I changed my playing habits as the big wins very rarely come, and these days I'm taking it slow and easy, I practically never use Autoplay anymore. I've learned to get the excitement out of each spin again. After all, each spin is unique, and you'll never know which one it is that'll bring in the big win. Also, this way I'll lose money slower....

I did get a Royal on superfast autoplay JoB at 32Red once. I wasn't paying any attention to the screen, I had it set so fast you couldn't make out the plays..and set to stop on any win bigger than a full house....I was talking on the phone, and after ending the call just glanced at the screen in passing....that was a double take if there ever was one!

Cheers,

I use autospin - but I still sit and watch it.
My arm gets tired
I actually went to the land casino yesterday afternoon.
My arm actually got tired pushing that darn button
and then I got bored.
I have much much more fun playing the online games, and I don't have to wear shoes! or smell other people's cigarette smoke :p

I love autoplay... However, I like it most at Microgaming casinos. I don't really care for the ones at Cryptologic casinos because I don't see how to have them stop once I get a big win.

And since I like big wins so much... I REALLY want to see them! :D

Gramma, you took the feet right out of my mouth! I informed the local B&M just last week to cancel my membership. I'm sick and tired of playing in the thick smoke cloud (I'm no health Nazi either!).

Online is just so much better.

Ok, we got 59 votes now... not bad, hope to see some more...

I only use autoplay sometimes, mostly when I'm heading for the bathroom :) I think I would miss something when taking a break... Allways got the AutoStop for wins over $100... It's very exciting when I get back downstairs and can't hear no sound of the stopping reels anymore.... :)

Cheers

Exactly :)

I do a bit of both. Definitely start out with single spins to test whether a game is hot. Once, and IF, i find a game that runs well and i have a big WR, i start auto-spinning, anywhere from 5-10-25-50-100. So, for me, it's always a good sign when i can afford to autospin.

I must be missing something here!

I don't play slots as a 4-5% house edge has never appealed.

I always thought people played slots for the buzz and the anticipation on each spin of a big win even though they know casinos consider they are suckers.

Now it seems lots of players just set auto, don't watch, and see what the overall result is.

Why don't you play BJ, don't watch and see what the overall result is? At least you know you are losing less money overall and might even win if you are playing with a bonus.

Playing auto is exactly the same as giving say $1000 to someone and asking them to go to a B&M casino and play 500 pulls for you on slots and to let you know the result and to check with you if they hit a huge win whilst doing so.

Anybody ever done this?

Doing auto is similar to buying a lottery ticket, anyone get a real buzz from that?

Perhaps this discussion should widen from, exactly how many players play auto on slots, to what is the possible buzz to be obtained from this behaviour is it some form of masochism relating to loss of money?

Is there less guilt involved if you are at a distance from the action?

I must admit I am confused!

I like the auto feature . If I am doing laundry and have to run down cellar I hit the 'spin25' love it when I come back up to see it all ready for free spins :D
