Howdy all
I have given Slotocash on one more than one occasion to help with this issue, so I figure now I'm going to open this up to a public forum to see if I'm the only one having the issue.
So after the last round of updates at RTG about 2 weeks ago.
I started noticing an issue, that everytime I went to open up the software that it would go into "update" mode and update the lobby software. Then it would reboot the software and present me with a login screen.
Then upon logging in, it would present me with another "updating" screen. Then bring up the specials of the week that is in my casino inbox.
So then I would proceed to deposit, play, with no additional issues. So then after playing. I would log off for a bit, sometimes to take a break, because I busted out, or whatever the case may be.
So then after 15 minutes or however long I give the software a break. I would go back into the software, then it would "reupdate" again, telling me a new version of the lobby software was available. Then would reboot the software. Then I would login, and get re-presented the specials of the week. Like as if seeing them once this week wasn't enough.
So then I said something to support. Well I got told no one else is having this issue, so uninstall the software, and re-install it and try that.
Well the fresh and clean software minus the specials of the week coming into my inbox would work great for a 2 to 3 boots of the software. No need to reupdate the lobby software or need to see the weekly specials popping up.
Well then upon my 3rd or 4th boot of the software. I would go into my rinse and repeat mode, of software update, lobby specials. Oh my goodness.
So then I decided on this time I would uninstall the software, reboot, registry clean the sucker, look for any "traces" of the software. Reboot again, and re-install. Well once again, the first 2 to 3 boots of the software everything ran fine. It would update once, and that would be it. Then upon that 3rd or 4th reboot. The software would be acting up again.
I love Slotocash for the frequent tournaments and free chips. Yet this issue with the software is really starting to get me. Even VIP went as far as e-mail RTG, and they said no such issue exists. Am I the only unique one out of the bunch.
No other RTG software including Sun Palace of All Star Slots does this. Only Slotocash. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i am loggin in perfectly normal

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one having the issues.
So to see if I can help narrow the issue down. Do you happen to have Windows 7 Home Premium as well?
Just am seeing if it's operating system specific or really an actual software gltich.
Having the same issue, tried uninstall and reinstall and same thing, if slotocash rep does come to this thread, their are other software issues we need to talk about namely wrong random jackpot amounts showing in lobby.

I am also experiencing this. But I was thinking it was deliberate. Up until this constant
updating, I had experienced being locked out with message " you are
already logged in,......blah blah.......wait 10 minutes and try again" many
a times. And usually after 10 minutes, still can't log in and would need to
go through live chat to "unlock". I was thinking that the new constant
"updates" was their solution for the problem I was having...have'nt
been "locked out" since.

Hi All

I will look into this issue for you and see what I can find. Can you tell me if you are playing instant or download and PM me any other details that might help my investigation.

Regarding the random jackpot amounts wrongly showing can you show me an example, thanks

Best Regards

Ms Sloto

I have noticed this about three years ago on my old PC, OS = Vista. It was at two RTG casinos is the Virtual group. I cleaned it totally, erased software etc and the glitch always came back next time there was an update going on. I never got rid of it, I stopped playing there anyway.

Hi, I sent you a message, but I might be over my message limit so not sure if you got it, as for wrong jackpot's here is a screenshot of trex, the jackpot as of this screenshot is over $19,000 yet in the lobby as seen is showing like $1900, pretty much every game is wrong as I went through the lobby, the wrong amounts are not all the time mind you.

I get a new lobby update restart every time I go to log in on the download client. Have done for weeks now. Was happening on my Win Vista 32 bit system also.

Mine was fixed after I got the casino "inbox" to stop telling me the daily specials upon login.
Yet after the holiday specials were injected into the casino, mine is back to acting up again. I really think it's something in the way the specials are being displayed causing the software to glitch, I really do.

Ya I think this too, I just got a big hit and once again no connection, can't get to the lobby and the website is down, I am kinda panicking......:o

What annoys me the most about the current crash is the fact, I was getting very, very close in the VIP freeroll tournament to actually finishing with a nice strong finish. Now it's looking like I'll have to wait either a few hours or to have the tourney probably cancelled if they can't get back up and going again.

Desert Nights, also

All of this is also happening at Desert Nights, which I think is afilliated somehow. Been getting the "new lobby" message everytime I open the software, and haven't been able to get on at all tonight. REALLY hope this isn't indicative of other problems - I have a nice withdrawal sitting there.

It seems it is still not working, I have emailed and was told that the tech guys are working on the maintenance of the servers.

The Slotocash links are not working on IE but seem to be working on Google Chrome, i shall not be depoing there though until this is fixed!

Ps downloaded version, i cannot access that at all.

So I have finally found the fix to the software glitch.
This was finally me sitting down and comparing apples to apples on the files including in both installations of a fully functional and working All Star Slots install, and a fully somewhat-fully-functional install of Slotocash.
Apparently the Slotocash upgrader gets sloppy, and refuses to clean up after itself after the last upgrade. Therefore causing the software to think it's in need of constant update. Therefore if you go into C:\program files (x86)\slotocash or for Desert Nights use the Desert Nights folder. You will find a folder called temp. What is going on is there should only be a file called loading in there. If there are any other files such as mine had lbyinst. This will cause the program to continuously re-apply updates for no reason. So once I removed the extra file. This seems to have done the trick. Now I'm no longer experiencing the glitch of having the software always updating itself, and the specials aren't appearing more than at the beginning of the week.
So if Sloto herself would like to copy these instructions down, she is more than welcome to. If anyone else needs additional help with this let me know.

It does seem this is a continuing problem at RTG-powered casinos with Slotocash/Desert Nights particularly vulnerable. In the long run, players will feel frustrated by the interruptions and play less. RTG should have a good look at this.

Hit the nail on the head here, Apart from spending too much money the frustration with software issues makes me not want to play really, I may play a bit if the new game gets released and it looks interesting but hopefully you win chuchu and have some screenshots I can WTG:thumbsup:

So after saying I won't be playing much above lol..........................

More problems again, Just a white screen after logging in. Not the reps fault, but I am really frustrated right now, maybe because I have lost more than half my deposit in under a hour playing all under 1.00 bets for one of my worst sessions in 7 years when I was able to play before it went down.:o:mad:

Why did I not go try microgaming and these new games that just came out sigh.............. :(

Still waiting on withdrawal

As I posted earlier in this thread I was hoping this wasn't a bigger picture thing since I had a nice withdrawal pending. Well, 11 days later I still haven't seen it hit my account - 2 days after their promised "up to seven business days for bank wire" days were up. Didn't get any decent answers from Live Help. Tonight can't even get in to ask a question that no one will answer. Going to be a close call on ever going back.

I know mine was out this morning, for a bit, when I was seeing what tournies were active. While waiting for a withdrawal to process at Slotocash. I just opened my Desert Nights just now and everything loaded fine? Maybe they were loading there new game onto Desert Nights. I know I played Dream Run yesterday a bit at Slotocash and had a nice bit of return on that game. Wasn't stellar but wasn't bad either. Plus I liked the newer updated feature guarantee on it.
