Anyone had trouble making cc deposits at Slotocash? I try the Visa CC and it takes me to "Verify by Visa" which is common with almost all
of them these days, but I don't get the usual Verify by Visa/3d secure screen, instead I get a screen asking for all my personal info along with either a) passport ID, b) drivers license or c) social security. No other casino asks for this when doing Visa CC -- even those with Verify by Visa.

After filling out all the info, I get "parameter error". I had first complained about this to Slotocash months ago and was told "keep trying" and then again the last 2 weeks and was told "keep trying" and "no additional information available" for that error.

No explanation. It doesn't appear to be a decline -- more of a problem on the casino side.

Finally, this am they said "management" is looking into it.

Meantime, I've channeled all my deposits into Jackpot Capital and ClubWorld and have reached senior VIP levels at all the others. Was hoping to find Slotocash would be one of my VIP sites, but with so many deposit issues, not possible. Cant play if you cant deposit.

Let's hope mgmt gets this fixed soon -- I know on the big wins threads and 1000x bet threads, I've seen some good wins here and kudos on cashout times. Be a shame to have to close them. The sw error and their previous lack of interest in helping me is a little concerning.

disclaimer [correct me if im wrong ] but if all your info is up to date with verified by visa then you need to do nothing but enter your pass word

Yup they do have some issues.......3 times already I had my credit card charged
on a declined deposit attempt......the hassle of waiting for the hold to be charged
about 3 days.....then sending them the proof is just a big headache for me.......
Old geezer like me hates to print and paste anything...lol

I have had the same issue twice at Sloto now, a month back and then the other day, doesn't happen all the time but it has sure cut down my dep's with them, chat was completely useless, I got so frustrated with them I just gave up.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The error you are encountering is not verified by visa, but identification software. We are looking into the problem and will update you shortly

This looks dodgy. Verified by VISA should run from the card issuer's server, and this is for the security of the cardholder. It is designed so that merchants cannot see any of the information being entered. Unless it is from the card issuer, NO other software, identification or otherwise, should piggyback off the Verified by Visa function. Players who encounter this kind of thing should NOT enter any of the details requested as it could be a phishing attempt. Any updates to verified by visa information should be made direct, not via a merchant. Unless it is the first time verified by Visa has been used on the card, only the standard screen asking for the password should be seen.

If verified by Visa seems to be behaving oddly, the card issuer should be contacted as this is their server. The request for verification would come from the processor, not the merchant (unless they do their own processing in-house).

I thought cc deposits at slotocash had to be processed through SKRILL (Moneybookers) so is the verified by visa an issue on the slotocash side or with SKRILL (I don't use cc at sloto for that reason- too many security issues have been posted on this board re Skrill accounts)

I'm 99.9% sure when I chose the CC Visa option, I put in my card info and then I see "Verified by Visa" but then a new screen comes up (same window)
and asks for more info along with many choices to pick from "Social Security, passport ID, Drivers License, Tax ID NO, etc"... many more.

This was reported as a problem at least 4 months ago and they did nothing about it. And then recently again I was told they had no info on this error and just to "keep trying". So sadly, I thought maybe I wasn't getting authorized by Visa so instead of Drivers License #, I put in SS#. This better NOT have been a phishing issue.

Ms. Sloto said she's working on it, but given that already several people claim they reported this issue to Support, I have to believe that Slotocash knew about this problem and was either powerless to fix it and didn't want it publicized or they just don't have any visibility into it because it happens outside their systems and they really didnt want to go knocking on Visa's door (for obvious reasons).

Maybe someone wants to try a small deposit and see if "Verify by Visa" shows up when trying a Visa card.... I'm gunshy now and don't want to bother again.

Too bad.

was it the full ss# or just the last 4 digits?
maybe someone can post a screen shot?

Perhaps this is a USA facing issue- I just checked with my account and the credit card option is required to be processed through Skrill not directly- maybe USA have a diffeerent deposit option for CC's.

We cannot reproduce this error in testing. The verification software is the same we use to use at Rival where we request one form of ID to check indentify of new depositors or those using new cards. This is the same as sending in your ID documents by email or fax. If you could email screenshots of error we can look into it further.

I don't get it. I sent screenshot of the actual page requesting the info, will all the fields filled out AND the "parameter missing" error months ago.
I sent it twice again to support last week and again yesterday -- and even got an email saying they got the screen shot.

So I just did a TEST RUN and captured the whole process.. notice it DOES SAY "VERIFY BY VISA" on 2 of the screens! Clearly that's what this is.
And NO, I'm not missing any fields, all data is accurate. i don't see this extra validation screen at any other casino -- ONLY at Sloto and it happens nearly every time -- regardless of what VISA card I try.

note: the timestamps on pic #2 is off because that's the original screen capture I had done again earlier this week -- no sense redoing that one, too.

And to the previous poster, yes it asks for the FULL Social Security # along with Tax ID# and Passport ID and so on.

That ID screen has nothing to do with Verified by VISA, and really should NOT be appearing AFTER the "redirecting to Verified by Visa" screen. It looks like the software is trying to do 2 things at once, and then falling over. It may be trying to process the deposit BEFORE showing the ID screen to the player, and in doing so, simultaneously invoking the Verified by Visa, which is hosted on the card issuers side, not that of the casino. The ID number requested on the form is supposed to be the one from the document you will send to them if you make a withdrawal. I don't really see the point as they can't check it, especially in the US. They can only check it against the document you eventually send them. It may help existing players who have already sent their documents, as it would also be triggered if someone hacks their casino account and tries to set up a new card, but can't put in the correct number.

It also seems VERY odd that they are trying to use Verified by Visa for US players, as this would place the transaction under closer scrutiny by the issuing bank. Most casinos do NOT use Verified by Visa. I rarely encounter it when using cards to deposit. 32Red use it, but elsewhere it is very rare.

==================
Actually i see it at the 3 I play at... Visa Verify.... anyway, Ms. Sloto, let us know what you're doing with this one. I've not heard anything back from
support on this --- thus, no deposits from me for now.

Any chance this is a phishing scam sort of thing? Definitely seems like they are asking for a lot more info than you would expect. Scammers can hi-jack browsers and I believe when it switches to the Verified by site it is opening a web browser of some sort. I would be hesitant to enter all that info.

When it came up for me, the drop box never allowed me to put in drivers liscense number or anything. But the problem seems to have been resolved. The screen did not show up this weekend.

Agree completely.

Especially asking for things like passport information... That's particularly worrying.

Simple rule of thumb with all casino related transactions / interactions :

" Do you usually have to do this at other places you play at? "

If the answer is no - run away.

It's like the whole waiting for withdrawals, messed around with ID etc blah blah blah at some places. There's no excuse nowadays.

So are we suggesting Slotocash be removed from Accredited or just put ON NOTICE to fix this and NEVER AGAIN ask for Passport ID and full Social Security when they would have already had the ID verified via faxback forms in the first place? What do you all suggest happen next?

Sorry, I was just talking generally - I can't really comment on this particular casino as I don't play there and it hasn't happened to me.

Just saying that's what I'd do.

I'm sure Bryan/Max will pick this up and await the appropriate outcome.

From previous threads, I believe the rep from here is usually very helpful/compliant so I'm sure they will get to the bottom of it.

Based on the screenshots up there, this is a potentially very serious issue.

Ms. Sloto has been very nice and communicative on this -- so I think they really do want to fix this. I sent in more pics to support yesterday and so we'll see if the can figure out why it does that. Thanks every1 for the posts.
