Rival Slots question

Hey all,

Maybe someone more familiar with Rival slots can answer this for me.

First, read through this:

Help the White Knight search the Castle for lost Treasures and stand the chance to win $12,500.00 Jackpot!.

If 3 of the Bonus Door icons appear on the reels you will be sent to the Fantasy Fortune Bonus Round. Click on the arrows to choose what direction to search in. Be wary though, your bonus game will end when you find the dreaded Black Knight.

and so begins your journey... choose your path wisely!

<trimmed out Valentines day bonus offer>

Isn't this a little misleading? I'm sure you have to be betting $50/spin to win $12,500. I seriously doubt you can win $12.5K off of a .20 bet.

But anyways, I feel this is very misleading by them not mentioning that "small detail". I looked through their help page within the casino software and it does have anything listed there either. It doesn't even show how many total coins you can win (that's the key) during that feature, in the paytable itself. If you can only win X amount of coins, then they need to add up to asap.

This is hilarious.. I swore I was done posting
and now here comes Winbig with a post that I can
not possibly keep my mouth shut about:lolup:

What is misleading? It does not say bet .05 and win $12,500.

Are you saying that a casino can not email what a jackpot is at
unless they say **JACKPOT MAY ONLY BE HIT By BETTING: XX$? **

I guess this is a good sign, if this is the worst thing
we can find a casino doing .. is emailing a mailer like this:lolup:

uh...false hopes of a huge win off of a minimum bet? Not everyone knows that's going to happen. I could think of a lot of people that would be under the impression that they're going to win a truckload of money that way :p

But anyways, it's false advertising to an extent...:D

I respect everything you say, but I just read the paytable..
"5 jackpot icons pays 5000x the line bet"
I have never heard one hint of a concern about this kind of advertising...

I feel like if I had made a post like this about 32RED, 3Dice,
iNetBet or one of the favorite casinos here my head would
have been cutoff, speared and posted at the front door in 2 seconds.
I just do not get it..

Again, I am tired of defending casinos but sometimes
it looks like people are dying to find something, anything wrong
with Rival casinos.. it is beyond my understanding.

Good luck to everyone. I will try to lurk only. I will continue to
enjoy most of your posts winbig:D

We're talking about 2 different things here. I'm talking about the bonus round. Nowhere in the software does it state how many coins you can win during the bonus....The 5000 coins are for 5 wilds...

And you're totally wrong. If I see something that can be taken the wrong way by a newbie, and bring it up for their benefit. I'll bring it up against any casino, good or bad. Look over my posts and you'll see. I'm also not too good enough to admit if I'm in the wrong.

Babe, Fantasy Fortune is promoted as a "Unlimted Win bonus round"
"in this particular game a player has
66% chance of continuing on and on in the bonus round"

whatever the heck that means will probably start a 35 page
topic and end in "Rival Casinos rogued" or something..

please see RivalRob:D

If it's unlimited, then why is $12,500 mentioned? :p

But seriously, where do you see this at? IMO Rival slots are poorly documented. Even RTG slots give very detailed information about the slots both in the help page as well as the paytable within the game.

Because that is the Jackpot, not what you win in the bonus round..

Are you trying to toture me? Is this a joke?
You know 1000X more than me, so come on.. have I been "Punk'd"??

No joke here. Their whole mailing more or less centers around the jackpot. They just threw in the bonus round information for who knows what reason....oh I know, to confuse people such as myself.

Which still doesn't explain why they don't put "up to" in their jackpot statement. To me, that's just leading people in with false expectations, not knowing that they have to be playing max bet @ max denomination to win $12.5K. There's nothing stating otherwise on their site nor the game itself. I guess they want people to figure it out on their own....which is quite hard for someone new.

edit: I changed the title of this thread accordingly.

you are right.. throw them in the rogue pit along
with all other Rival casinos.. we have all seen
the enormous amounts of ACTUAL PLAYER complaints about them
like the other wonderful software providers. Rogue em..
forget about Rival CasinoMeisters.. Rival is not for you

GOOD LUCK

TDTAT you are completely out of way.........sorry my friend..........winbig is asking you a simple question, and it seems you dont want to answer or you dont have an answer to it.
Ive played and Im playing to a lot of Rival casino and I didnt know they had a jackpot my self .

You are right in a way Kakata.. I read the first sentance of his quote
and that was all. I did not read the rest. I was over it and had lost it
and did not care what the rest said.

Also note if it looks like I was only partial quoting, I did not mean to
do that.. some of winbig's posts were edited during the time I was responding,
or I cut out the quotes by accident. I was not trying to avoid things.

I guess some good has come of this.. Rival has assured me
they will do a better job promotoming and explaining their jackpots.
Also this from a casino manager:
"I think paytables are hard to understand so I think I will
have a page developed to explain how they work and
put on the website for newbies!"

*Next week's thread titles*
"Rival spam" "Rival tries to confuse newbies" "Rival slots are rigged" "Rival changes jackpots"
"Rival predatory exclusion of bonus abuse"

I need a vacation.. I am headed to Vegas this weekend I think.
Good Luck to us all.. we need it

Played this game, didnt see ANY sign of a jackpot on it, in fact come to think of it havent seen any indication of jackpots on any of their slots :what:

It's only as misleading as you let it be. Much like the Rival mails that say XXX game is paying out 112%. Some MG's have done the same thing in the past with that nickel machine progressive, whatever it's called. $$$$$$ jackpot on a NICKEL machine. The ill informed would think you only have to play a nickel to win that. No big deal if you know better.

Hello Everyone! Sloto is reading this thread,
so will take all comments and hopefully make some good changes:thumbsup:

Sorry I got so silly:p I am on flight 775 today
to Mecca (for gamblers anyway) and I am sure
I will come back feeling refreshed, but maybe with less $$$

I am a big rival player ( low roller big player) I wish they would consider having some jackpot slots. The 12,500 is mis-leading since its not really a " Jackpot slot".

Hi Classymom!!
I do know that some progressive slots are in the works :D

I am not sure what you mean by "jackpot" but some
games do have them.. appearently Rival needs to do a
better job explaining and promoting them:oops:

**EDIT** This was the mailer Winbig is talking about..
Hopefully it is ok to post the pic
fantasy-jackpots2.gif

You can win more than $12,500 in the "Endless win" bonus round... depending on your bet.
This mailer did not bother me, but Sloto is looking into all comments

I received the same email........had I been new at Rival slots I would not have understood that max bet would have been required to win the "jackpot".
No I don't think they were deliberating trying to mislead, more of a case of poorly chosen words in this particular email.
