The October Competition Is Now Underway

The competitions start on Sunday the 1st October and run for the month. Please be sure to read the rules when you log in to
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
. Just to keep things simple this month, each competition has one prize of 75x the winning stake, which is doubled to 150x if you are a new player at the casino in the given month. I've done it this way to avoid having a minimum bet (keeps it open to everyone) and as the sponsors are doing it to encourage people to sign up and try them out, so it hopefully helps that, plus it gives us potentially higher prizes. The maximum win amount is either 1000 credits ($1000, 1000 or E1000 depending on which currency you play in) or 1500 credits in some cases. The Progressive Challenge is also back at 32Red.

Rather than restrict the games choice as before, each competition allows you to play ANY 5 Reel slot. This adds an element of strategy of course, but also some flexibility. Additionally I have allowed a wider spread of software as you'll see below, so you can play RTG, Gamesys, Random Logic or Microgaming this month.

There is also an additional $100 prize for whoever wins the "Slot Junkies Champion" leaderboard competition at the end of the month. However this is payable only by Neteller as I'm sponsoring this one for a bit of added fun.

I'd like to thank this month's sponsors for sponsoring the competitions. You can download them from the Player Lounge after you log in at Slotjunkies. A reminder that you need to log in and "register" (it's free) for each competition BEFORE you play and make a claim!

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cub World Casino (not to be confused with Club Player!!)
RTG software - play any of the 5 Reel slots. One prize up to $1500.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackpot Joy
Gamesys software (no US players right now sorry) - Play any 5-Reel slot to win up to 1,000 or E1,000 (you might want to check out "Deal Or No Deal" - I though it was fun plus it's progressive!)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dash Casino
Microgaming software - play any of the 5 Reel slots. One prize up to $1500.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
21.com
New casino using 888's Random Logic software under licence - play any of the 5 Reel slots. One prize up to $1000.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Progressive Challenge @ 32Red
Play any 5 Reel progressive slot at 32Red to win up to $500 plus 30% of the jackpot if won by another Slot Junkies player.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please support the casinos - if all goes well, I'll keep the comps running and play with different prize structures and games ongoing. Please remember it's a two-way street...the sponsors will only sponsor if everything is run fairly and sensibly. I had a couple of fraudulent players earlier in the year trying to con prizes (multiple bonus claims and claims from "fun mode" submitted) so let's avoid that this time please. I know 99.9% of Meister members are above board but I don't want one idiot spoiling it for everyone.

Cheers

That's unbelievable!
Anyone caught doing that should be 'Named & Shamed' in the forum!

Hope we get plenty of support this time - it's great fun!

You should ask for a screenshot of the Playcheck record, too. That would exclude people playing in fun mode.

Thank you for starting this back up. I really enjoyed it and I learned how to do a screenshot for this reason only. Also, I know it is a lot of work for you and there were times you had some people become inpatient with you and the casinos. If this happens again, let me know and I'll get my handcuffs and make sure they don't bother you. :D

Hmm interesting solution :D Thanks Vickie. We caught the culprits before as the casinos obviously verify the wins but thanks anyway.

Here's some background info on the sponsors:

I just played ther last week (from the US) and I was allowed to deposit and all. Did this just change this week? >>

Were you already signed up previously 'cos that's okay. The issue is indirectly to do with the US ruling, however it is not JJ that are enforcing it, but it's a condition imposed by the licensor of one of their games and they do not have the facility to disable that game from just US players right now.

The "ban" has been in force for about 4-5 weeks I guess.

There is something about a woman saying she will get her handcuffs....
Nevermind i am a bad boy. :)

Simmo,

Ok I signed up for the torney.

Maybe I'm just tired but I'm a little lost on what I have to do?

Could you post an abridged (dummies guide) to the ins and out?

Cheers

PS I'll be playin the slots at Dash.

Sure.

Go to the site, sign up and log in. Select the competitions you want to enter BEFORE you play. Then go get the casinos, play away as you would normally through the month on the 5-reel slots of choice and when you hit a decent win (I'd say upward of 40x or so as a rough guide), do a screenshot or a Playcheck shot, log into Slot junkies again and enter a "claim" - the form will ask you for the date/time, account number amount won and stake and ask you up upload your screenshot.

You can keep an eye on whose claimed on the Leaderboard. At the end of the month, I correlate the winners, send them to the casinos who check the win was played for REAL money, that it was a valid win and that any terms have been met and then they pay the winner through their account.

Hope that's clear. One question I used to get was "do I have to play with my own money". The answer being yes if you want to win a prize, of course ;)

Cheers

Hey Simmo! I entered 2 of the competitions and when I log in it says I have not enetered any, even though only 3 remain not chosen. I guess I am still okay? I am not sure how to make a claim if it says I haven't entered.

one other question, are all progressives in the 32Red Challenge? I did not see any list of any specific ones. Thanks!

It's the 5-Reel slots only...I'll clarify that when you enter. Thanks V :)

Yes play on - its logged them...I need to check the display obviously.

For the record I have two sets of handcuffs and a set of leg irons..:D

Ahhhh....but Vickie, are yours fur-lined? Can't be leaving evidence...oops, I mean marks, behind!!!

I signed up and tried to enter the 21.com competition.

First of all the activation email doesn't work... it says "Invalid ID and Email address. Please contact us." Second, when I log into the site it says "You have not entered any competitions yet" even though there are only 4 competitions to chose from (the four besides 21.com).

Can you help me out?

Just working on it :)

EDIT:: Fixed the Games one so you can now see what you entered and can claim. The email works okay. I just checked - it may be because the email wraps over two lines so the link you need to click is split and not using the whole URL MV. Anyway, I checked with the one you sent and it activated fine.

Thanks Vickie!! Glad to see the SlotJunkies tournies back, hopefully I'll be able to participate via Dash Casino. Good job Simmo!!

Hey Simmo! What if a US player wins one of the prizes in the tournament? Will we get paid? I was still trying as of tonight then I thought it might not be worth it?

At the moment, the only casino that has stopped taking US players in the SJ competition is 21.com - received confirmation last night and am updating now. I will seek clarification from the others today but I think it will be fine if you sign up before any competition sponsor makes an announcement. Remember that this law does not specifically make it illegal for US citizens to gamble, so if you are owed money then I would assume that it's yours by rights.

Help with rules - Progressive

Simmo! I'm struggling to understand the Progressive Challenge rules!

500 credits for the best win (as a percentage of stake) on ANY 5-Reel progressive slot game plus 30% of any progressive jackpot won by any entrant is divided between all other players who have wagered at least $200 on a progressive at the point at which it is won.

What does 500 credits for the best win (as a percentage of stake) mean exactly?

Also, it's not clear if one has to wager a certain amount on the slot on which you get the big win...?

If fact, I can't see where it says there is any minimum wagering requirement at all! (Except if you want to share 30% of the jackpot, in which case you must wager $200 on the winning slot)

Please can you try to un-confuse me!

Hmm yeah that could be a lot clearer :) I'll update the rules but essentially this is what it should say:

It's like the other comps. Up to 500 credits max is payable to the winner but of course I neglected to say that it is 150x the stake made (like the other comps except existing players are treated like new players in this case) and a player is expected to have made 200 credits worth of bets to get the jackpot share if its won, but not the 500 credit win. If you get my drift!

Thanks! That means I can have a 'little dabble' at various progressives with my tiny low-roller budget, rather than having to wager a fortune on just one slot!

Bit of a problem uploading the screenshots old boy!
This is what I get when I click on 'Show':-
(You might want to delete this post later! ;) )

And this is what it should look like....

5 Reel Slot at RTG Casino?

I want to be sure I understand what a 5 reel slot is at a RTG casino. That is what I enjoy playing and would like to enter the comp making sure I am playing the correct slots.

Just now I Googled RTG 5 reel slot and it said any of them can pay up to 25 lines. So does that mean Aztec Treasures, Cleopatra' Gold, Fruit Frenzy, etc. are considered 5 reel slots.

As you can see this if my first post so please excuse me if this has been asked and answered.

=^.^=

Yes the number of paylines is irrelevant Addisyn, as long as there are 5 reels :)

Hi all,

Just an update on the US situation regarding this month's Slotjunkies competitions, in light of specific casino announcements.

> The Club World (Club USA) competition remains open to ALL US residents, irrespective of State.

> The 21.com competition is now closed to all US residents

> The "Progressive Challenge" @ 32Red is now closed to all US residents

> The Dash Casino is now closed to all US residents

> The Jackpot Joy competition is (and always was) closed to US residents.

Not ideal I know, but that's how things stand. If you are from the US and played at any of these competitions which now no longer take US residents prior to not being allowed to continue playing, and you turn out to be the winner, I am confident that I will be able to secure you your prize, although this will be credited via a payment processor such as Neteller rather than into a casino account obviously. UK and European players from legal jurisdictions are unaffected by this legislation and can contine to play.

Any questions as always, please shout.

Cheers,

Simmo!
