This is not a complaint...only an observation about how payouts work at Slotastic Casino. I loved playing at that casino and was amazed when I won $5000. The payout was within one week! I had there check in my hands days after submitting the withdrawal, however I'm from the United States and their check was drawn on a Canadian bank. It took two months for my bank to release the funds and then they charged me $94 in fees! I'd love to play there but must find some way around this issue. Anyone else from the USA encounter this problem? Like I say, I have no problems with the casino, but was shocked to have to wait two months for my money (which was finally put into my account just the other day). Thanks.

I haven't won anything as large as $5000 at Slotastic. However the checks I have received from withdrawals cleared my bank in one business day with no bank fees. As ChuChu said this is not a casino issue. It's more on US bank policies. Try a different bank perhaps.

Hi there,

Besides checks, there are several other options for our valued US customers.

Please visit the cashier's withdrawal section and click on "Payouts Limits and Fees" hyperlink.

If you need any further info, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,
Yasmeen

Thanks!

Yasmeen,
Thank you for the comment. I had no idea it would take my bank two months to cash the check or I would have contacted the casino and looked into what else we might have done. The issue is with my bank, not the casino. Thanks

I'd recommend any withdrawals made by US players with Jackpot Capital group be done via western union regardless of the fees. Though you eventually received your funds I actually had a check returned to my bank. Kudos to JP for making it right with a western union payout to me to include the bank overdraft charge BUT JP should look for a different processor that could handle their USA players without using a Canadian Bank. Inetbet does it and thier check cleared in 2 days.

Update on issue with payout

First of all, thanks to everyone for the fantastic ideas about dealing with this issue. I do love playing at Slotastic, and they were very fast in paying (I received the check in days of requesting the payout!), however I need to research other ways to get my winnings...it took 2 months for my US bank to clear the Canadian bank check, and then they charged me a total of $175 to do it (two checks were involved). I hope everyone understands that I am, in any way, finding fault with the casino...other than the fact they should be using US banks when dealing with US customers. Thanks everyone.

I find issue with casinos offering checks to USA players KNOWING full well what it takes for us to receive funds this way. This should not even be an option to USA players unless a USA bank is involved. Just because a check has cleared does not mean it will not be returned in another few weeks and funds withdrawn a few weeks later creating a nightmare for a player. I am working on this very issue of having returned/denied checks repeatedly that I did NOT ask for.

I bank at two of the largest banks in USA. If a casino cannot pay through other means, they should not be open for USA players. PERIOD. The exhorbitant fees being charged for other withdrawal options is also ridiculous. I looked online and saw where a company can have an account and send WU funds at a fragment of the cost we, USA playrs are being charged. This way if casino funds get confiscated it would be a minimal impact to the casino funds. Unlike now, funds get frozen and many get hurt with checks etc..

Thanks silcnlayc

Could it be that the casino isn't aware of the bank charges? Don't care? Can't do anything about the issue? Just amazing to think that they know and would allow this to happen to a customer they'd like to keep happy (and more importantly, keep playing). Anyway, I haven't played at that casino since this happened and I know that has cost them more than the $175 I paid in bank charges.

Returned Check fee

Hi there,

If you've incurred such a fee when having one of our checks unsuccessfully cleared, we will resend the funds via another chosen method and will also include this fee.

Thanks,
Yasmeen

If a check has cleared that means that is has been successfully debited from the account writers account. I think what you are trying to say is "if you get credit in your bank account for the check that doesn't necessarily mean the check cleared."

Yes a business can set up a an account to have funds sent and received at a lower fee. The problem is Western Union is probably looked at even more closely than banks, which means the casino is not going to set up an account, and I am sure a processor would to be hesitant to do such. I have no clue how they are actually sending the western unions now. Is it coming from an individuals name or a company?

Thank you!

Yasmeen,
The checks from Slotastic cleared two months after I tried to deposit them. I was charged $95 for the first check and $75 for the second...by my bank, not by anyone else. I greatly appreciate the offer to reimburse me for the charges, but am fine with the way this stands now. My problem moving forward is playing at the casino if the checks will be issued from a Canadian bank and I'll have to wait two months for the money. Solve that and I'd be very happy to return and play. Thank you so much for responding to my issue...I really loved playing at your casino.

Hi fairplay,

There are other options besides checks which our customers successfully use on a daily basis.

Please check the cashier for these further options.

Yasmeen

Yes, that is what I meant, thank you for clarifying it better than I said about credit vs clearing on the check. I won't touch a casino anymore that has the small print that says "casino can send a check" if they choose and most RTg and other casinos have this in their T&C's....bad T&C's..casino should be placed on the lowest rung to play for anyone in the USA.
