I used to (and sometimes still do) see so many abbreviations/acronyms for slots and other casino terms and would google them but whether I found the slot or terms meaning was hit and miss. Thought it might be an idea to have a thread for them.

Two I was very happy to find:
DoA/DoA2 - Dead or Alive/Dead or Alive 2
JATB - Jack and the Beanstalk
OAK - Of A Kind i.e. a win with 3 Js is a 3oak, 5 Ks 5oak etc.
x - Used to 'standardize' deposit/stake/win etc.
£1000 win at £5 stake is a 200x win and so is £40 at 0.20 stake.
£100 played at £1 per spin is 100x deposit and so is £20 at 0.20.

I'm sure there are loads of slot acronyms and other terms whose meanings could be added.
Also things like bonus offer and other casino related terms that aren't abbreviations/acronyms but would be good to know i.e. wagering requirement.

Two I can remember I never found out the meaning are CFTBL and BDBA if anyone wants to let me know!

I was really struggling to understand what someone meant the other week, when they referred to WWTBAM. It suddenly dawned on me a few days later so I was chewing on that one for a while 😅

The idea of the thread is to add the meaning as well (if you know it).

WWTBAM - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

I don't remember seeing these anywhere, so I guess they aren't commonly used. But now I'm real curious what they mean!
I always remember those two from last year before I joined.

Probably saw them on old slots or favourite slot threads a lot and could never figure them out.

Those threads would have listings of acronyms of slots that others would know but I had no idea.

JATB was the one I managed to find out after getting bored of so many slots, it was still available and I was pretty happy to find it last October but a little annoyed that it took me around 8 months as I liked it a lot.

TRCFT

Scatters on one and two, 3 reels to land the 3rd. Doesn't come (as per)

"Three reel c**t faced teaser" (ok one I invented a long time ago :o )

I just call that a mega tease, maximum tease (MT)

Often generating the full phrase “maximum tease, maximum disappointment” when it don’t land. (MTMD)

There are quite a few - not necessarily slot related.....

FOAD - f*** off and die - used when banging head against a wall with unhelpful customer services advisors. Or anyone who knocks at my door asking if I'm voting for specific parties. Or anyone annoying

CID - c**** in disguise - used to describe the taxman.

DILIGAF - does it look like a give a f*** - used multiple times a day, usually when the mrs asks me questions. Especially if she's telling me about social media problems
