While the news offers most of us glimpses of the US and UK servicemen and women who are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan on a near daily basis, Connect-to-casino decides to take this opportunity to make a profit.

Semperfi Casino.com - "in honor of our troops" Whose troops? The Costa Rican Army? This is such bullshit, I can't believe what I'm seeing.

Oh let me guess - the operators are a bunch of ex-Marines.

Semper Fidelis = always faithful. What an idiotic name and theme for a casino. First of all, Connect-to-casino is a clip joint casino located in Central America. Its reputation is less than good, and it has nothing to do with being American/British or supporting anyone's troops. As a combat veteran myself, I find this offensive and dishonors the people who have died or lost family members in Iraq/Afghanistan. If you want to honor the troops, how about donating 100% of the profit you make from this to the American Red Cross.

Thanks connect-to for bringing this industry one notch lower.

*disclaimer - I am assuming that this is run by connect-to since connect-to-casino is all over their "about us" page. They have either ripped of connect-to's content, or it's them.

Casino in poor taste...

Live or Die... SemperFi... This casino needs to die, and seriously. I say they should re-route some of those troups to Central America. Then they can take all the Connect-To-Casino profits (and their 3000% coupons) and donate the money to the right people. Perhaps the U.S. will legalize online gambling (and will want to) after seeing this crap.

:(

I'm still puzzled as to why Connect-To-Casino has not made the "Rogue List" or even yet to the "Not Recommended List" ?

Looks like I bitched loud enough, so the site is coming down.

I thought they were. Time to kick Vortran in the butt.

NOT A CTC SHILL

CM knows I have been a member of this board for a long time. As unpopular as this casino (CTC) may be, I must submit my two cents on my past history with them. I have always been paid pursuant to the T&Cs and in the stipulated time. Yes, their bonuses are generous and that is why I play there. John Spears, also a member of this board, has always replied to my inquiries in an expeditious and very courteous manner. Despite Marcolino and others, my experience is that CTC is a great place to play.

Now as for the SemperFi debacle, shouldn't everyone get one chance at a major screwup? Non-Americans are undoubtedly not as pro-Marines as the rest of us (especially in these times we live) and should not be held to our high military standards. If it works, don't fix it; if it doesn't, take it down! That was done and the ruckus should quiet down.

The site is gone now - that's a good thing. 21 Marines have died in Iraq over the past three days, and if CTC wants to honor these men, there are other ways to go about it than running a casino. I think I've made my point and I don't need to go on about it.

Thanks CTC for understanding my grievance.

As for CTC itself, yeah I've been outspoken on a few of their policies. I'll admit it.

I'll have to agree. When players have had issues, they are usually taken care of quickly via me or PMing CTC here. I see no need to cast them to the rogues. But if there are issues that are falling through the cracks, these need to be made known.
