Hello!
Need your opinion about an bit old issue that got brought back to life..
This came across me by accident that Thrills, Kaboo and Superlenny is the same owner.

I had an account at Thrills way back in time and i SE permanent without chance to re-open it 21/06/2014 because i had gambling problems. I remember it well because this was were i lost ALOT of money the first time.

Few years later im not sure when exactly lets say somewhere in 2016 i opened an account at Kaboo, no problems even i had SE from Thrills.
One year ago 2017 i closed that account aswell with SE.

I know from reading alot of similar posts that most casinos dont automatically block you even if your SE from sister sites, but they do when you try to withdraw, right? And sometimes pay back your deposit.

The issue i have and i get angry when thinking about now is that when i had this account at kaboo, after talking to the chat found out that i did both several deposits, and withdraws within this time it was open. I dont know how long it was open really but i would guess six months up to a year.
With Total Deposits around €2000
and Withdrawals €1500

Why didnt they close my account i wonder when i try to withdraw money?
If i would hit a jackpot surely my account would been closed.
I know its bit old but still it makes me angry thinking about.

Im nowadays free from gamling and i know I too should check if they were same owner ect.. but my account never got closed by them and no money got confiscated so i dont think thats the issue either.
Im still waiting on answer from kaboo on the email i sent them about this, i will update when i get answers from them. until then,

Should they pay back my deposits?

Had you been from the UK and playing under a UKGC license, you may have had a case.
But since you're from Sweden, and therfore playing under their Maltese license, I'm not so sure.
I don't think the MGA are quite as strict as the UKGC.
But I may be wrong

I Heard of both MGA and UKGC.
Unfortunate i havnt done my homework very well, so i know very little about the rules or difference between these two.
Hopefully someone know more about it and can share it.

It's also that the rules have changed since 2014 when you SE'd. If you weren't very clear that it was because you have a gambling problem, then they could have opened the account after just one year.
I see no reason for paying you the lost deposits anyway. You knew what you were doing when you used them for gambling don't you?
I'm certain if you had won you wouldn't have asked if you should give that money back :)

It was very clear it was because of gambling issues and with no chance to re-open the account ever again.
Yes ofcourse i knew i gambled with money, and if i would have won, i wouldnt get the money anyway.
But no i wouldnt ask to give money back but i would still ask the question how i was allowed to deposit and withdraw and play as normal with an SE at sister site.
The question about refund is just one of many i have :)

Well I guess you have spoken to Thrills or that Kaboo are getting all information about how you were excluded back then from them. They don't throw anything away but it can take some time. Then they can decide.
Still though since they let you withdraw and handled your account as anyone elses I doubt you can get what is missing back. I see no reason why you should.

Did you quit back in August? Wouldn't it feel better to leave all that have to do with gambling now?

You say, you wouldn't gave got paid, had you won. But then say you were allowed to withdraw :confused::confused:

I didnt try to find this it just came over me and it raised some questions.
Yes i talked to both. I dont remember all casinos i played on but these two i remember and thrills very well since i lost alot of money for the first time there back in 2014.
I dont remember when i quit but it was last year. It would maybe feel beter but i felt i needed answers about this because it feels wrong.

Sorry for being unclear, i ment higher amounts of money.

Theres so many cases were people have registred an account and won money, few thousand € and when they wanted to withdraw, there account got blocked and they get notify by mail that they have confiscated the money. And the reason being that they have SE on their sister site.
Not saying the casinos are wrong but they tend to say nothing as long as theres only deposits and no higher withdrawls.

But this only seems to happen when they try to withdraw larger amounts.
Why i cant tell but still it makes me wonder.

Probably some casinos are better then others about this but it happens alot from what i read through the years.

Just to clarify, I have nothing against either Kaboo or Thrills otherwise, it just happend to be one of the casinos i had really bad luck in.

Hello Jensa,

Thank you for your post.

I would be more than happy to have your account checked by Lenny. For security reasons, could you possibly send a PM to us with your account details, please? (full name, registered e-mail address, username, date of birth)

I'm sure Lenny wants to make this right!

I wish you a wonderful week.

Kind regards,

Penny the PA

thank you for your reply and thank you looking into this.
I keep this thread updated once i get more info.

It turned out that i was blocked, not excluded at thrills.
If i would be excluded as intended i would be automatlicy excluded from all sister sites. So i guess its a human mistake.

Either way i actually got refunded for the losses i had on kaboo so im more then happy with the outcome.
I got my questions answered and losses refunded.
To bad i didnt loose more money tho, just joking.
