Was in a tournament, TS2, few days back.
I get 5 wilds and it paid less than 170x Is that possible?
Don't have screenshot, but it was my 1st ever 5 wilds in TS2. I had 5 wilds in IR few years back, again in a tournament but it was the monster and it paid over 600x so I won 1000 cash

It's very possible/plausible in TS2 actually. IR's base game is a totally different animal to TS2's base game, for one main reason....

Proximity of wilds to picture symbols

In IR, you can get 5 Wilds and 5 Sarahs. But you can also get 5 Wilds plus 1 Sarah plus 1 Troy plus 1 Michael plus 1 campus. (Sarah, Campus and Wild on Reel 1, Troy and Wild on Reel 2, Michael and Wild on Reel 4).

I'm not even sure it is possible to get a wild and ANY picture symbol on the same reel in TS2. So straight off the bat, that will have a big impact on keeping the payout for 5 Wilds down.

But having said that, the real reason you failed to land under 200x is probably because you had "too even a spread" of the 910JQKA symbols on the other 10 spots. For example, two each of 9, 10, J and Q and one each of K and A. At a rough guess, that combo doesn't even net you a win of 150x.

If on the other hand, you had got 5 wilds and five As (or five Ks), that will easily get you a payout north of 300x.

Even if you had already turned £25 into £315, don't try and tell me that this one wouldn't have "stung a little bit". Quite easily, the worst piece of Raging Rhino RNG I've ever experienced. ONE bloody Rhino on Reel 1 and this would have been a win of...£1,458 (1215x bet). OUCH!!



Not as bad as the first one, but still...it qualifies as a groan inducer.



This was the one that happened in the same round as the £600 hit of Rhinos on the last spin of the round.



And then this one happened in the same round as the 48 x 6OAKs of 9s hit.

So yeah, combine these close but no cigar shots with the ones that actually DID connect and you probably get an idea of just how enjoyable and entertaining a session it was. It certainly would have made for a great winners video. It's quite possibly the most frustrating slot out there, but when the Rhino is in a giving mood, it is hard to beat.

Im going to have to make some kind of changes. Maybe just be a low roller like a few around here and just play for entertainment the odd time. If these providers want to start doing this to players, im really not a fan. How can you make a feature thats incredibly rare and then even have the potential to pay this. Especially since we know this game is not random. So it was designed by someone to pay that.

Then look at that bonanza game. It was the potential to get 8100 spins without a feature and pay 0.5x.

And btw this is my second ragnarok my first paid 60x.
