I played it yesterday for the first time in ages but with a free £10 no deposit at 0.25p stakes, hit the x300 stage and got 5 of a kind on the highest paying symbol that wasnt wild so it paid £750 for that line haha, had to meet wagering requirements so fell down to just over £500 though but nice win off of a 0.25p stake.
 
I play this slot quite a lot, and it is not that hard to reach last stage(one in every 15 features or something).
But I agree that is annoying when you end up with 11 shields.

One time I had 11 shields, 7 spins to go and I haven't reached last stage. I thought I will smash my monitor.
It's not that uncommon to end up with nothing from last stage either, but it is very exciting(only last stage of course, base game is even more boring that DoA) because of big win potential, similar to DoA.

If you like high variance slots, this is defo slot for you. Very good to play with bonus too.

Yep I have seen what it is capable of on bigwinpictures and here just wish I could get that windfall though! top win on 25p in final stage is what 300x1000 coins? 3grand for 25p and if you were playing less lines and it hit that would be even crazier!!
 
Had $30 left playing dark Knight and it had been going horribly so thought what the heck I'll up my bet to $0.90 for 25 spins, I'll have to have at least $7.50 by the end of it (hehe).

My jaw hit the keyboard, I thought there'd be some built in mechanism to pay back, something, but nope.

Had some cash pending withdrawal from a win on Friday, just under a grand, loaded up wild rhino at 0.40p a spin, managed to get a few good free spisn that paid 300x in short succession and then boom literally 200 spins with barely my stake back. Played ir for a bit then, about 5 wild desire feature in 3 minutes and they all did the last reel only, seething.

yeah that's the thing...the 300x is only for wins with at least 1 wild :( ....but when it hits definitely huge potential especially if you manage to get the respins at 300x :thumbsup:
 
If theres ever a bad 1, Was playing mg slots and nothing but errors, pissed me right of, had a bout 2£ left so thought i try 300 again, 25p play, had a few spins and would you belive it ERROR, right so shut down and log back on, and 39p left, BANG on first spin 5 shields = £25 quid but heres what happend, 1 shield and 52p extra win

Yeah not half it kind of reminds of bdba an easier to win version with not as big pays but the top symbols you don't need a wild to get 6000x line bet which is better than bdba 1500x top paying without the wild ;). Free spins really easy to get and can retrigger. They have 2 promos one is that fb one and the other is £15 free if you sign up through an affiliate not mentioning any sites here though. This game works well with 9lines.
 
I have never really liked WMS slots probably due to my luck or lack of. On this slot it took a long time to get a bonus then got the 2 finger salute from the free spins.

I'd guess about €180 at least! Think for 60p one set of the diamonds with wild is like €32. You'd have had multiple combos and the 5 diamonds a few ways doubled from the wild it would be a fair few euros!!

I'd be going close to 400. On a 1.50 bet, a 5OAK of Diamonds including wild is 75 euro isn't it? 4 of those would pay 300.

Then there would be at least two 5OAKs of the whiskey and cigar (80 euro?) and two 4OAKs of the wine and cheese with wild (20 euro?)...plus a 3OAK of wilds (5 euro?).

Of course if there was a wild on reel 3 and a whiskey or diamond as well, that likely takes it up to beyond 500.

Either way, this screenie is a sickener.

Aye you could be right but working out how many ways you'd win on can give me a headache haha! Would be very interesting to see the exact amount maybe around 4-500 euros then I didn't realize how premium the other symbols were! Not ran good on this game for a very long time only been playing on tourneys recently is all.

Well the diamond is a huge difference maker. The champagne pays something along the same lines as Thor, Sarah, Gillian. The whiskey pays similar to Loki, Troy and Sofia. The diamond though pays one and a half times as much as Thor, Sarah and Gillian and almost double Loki, Troy and Sofia. Yet at the bottom end, a wildless 5OAK of 9s on TFROL only gives you your bet back, while giving over 3x your bet on IR, TS2 and Playboy. Then there are the wilds, which make it possible to have a wild, diamond and a whiskey on the same reel. So add all that up, and it's easy to see why the variance on TFROL is higher than it is on TS2 and IR.

i got 5 diamond 4 wilds in base game.with minor wins it paid £265 for a 30P stake

If you bought a £1 scratchcard & matched 2 out of 3 jackpot amounts, but still won £50, would it suck? (By the rationale of some posts appearing, surely every screen-shot should suck? "If only another 'x' symbol had dropped", and if it did drop "If only I'd been betting more". :rolleyes:


Stop being so ungrateful folks... I'll agree that a bonus round win of less than 10x your wager amount is pretty sucky, but (IMHO) I don't believe anything higher than that should be posted in this thread.

With the exception of dead or alive...you can win 500xbet and still be furious...because if that 5th wild drops it will be alot bigger. And when you have 5-6 spins to get that 5th wild, and it never comes, or you have 4 wilds lined up, and the symbol that fills the line is 10 or J every spin, it SUCKS big time, and it becomes a screenshot that sucks. I think its up to each individual to decide if it sucks or not.

Have you ever played dead or alive? The things you want is either 5 wilds lined up or 5 scatters. It can be so frustrating and hard to get theese.

You get hundreds of features with just a few wilds...and then it comes,that special feature, the wilds starts landing....all except that 5th one, its horrible. Ok maybe i would be satisfied with 500x but i would sure as hell not be satisfied with 100x as the screenshot above :lolup:

Yes, I've played DOA many times & I am one of those yet to have achieved the much sought after win line of wilds. I would never say 'only' lining-up 4 of them as being an event that sucks though.

Kudos to the game designers... Most slot players celebrate 100x wins (hence the 'Winner Screenshots' thread on this site). For players to be unhappy with such wins & continue to chase their goal must mean those guys (and girls) got the game just about perfect.

What happens when you hit your wild-line though? Do you then say it sucks because you were close to getting 2? :confused:


Rather than continue to hijack this thread with the debate, (as I said previously) we'll have to agree to disagree. (On a unrelated note, if any forum members are heading out to Vegas for G2E later this month, please let me know... We can continue this (and/or other) discussions over some drinks whilst trying to bleed the land-based slots dry ;) ).

I don't. It is about the known potential, our individual experiences and expectations.

I recently won £80-£90 on an 18p spin. I didn't post it in here although I remarked at the time It was appropriate as it was one wild away from being many times that amount. £80-£90 isn't a bad return from 18p but having my expectations set that this game was capable of so much more means it did "suck" a bit.

A screenshot "sucks" if the person, with genuine expectations/experience of better feels it "sucks". If you don't, kindly move on to another post.

The end of a dreadful WMS session.
£240 start balance and I had around 20 different slot bonuses and except for one they all were between 0x and 5x bet.
I decided to up my bet with an £80 balance and it dropped £40 in 45 spins then I hit this bonus of less than 2x,after that I was slaughtered.
Officially the worst,gimped software I've played!

I can't help but feel a little concerned here...

I hear what you are saying when wins could have been better, but if someone is playing any slot game with "genuine expectations" of some kind of big win, then I'd suggest that gambling isn't for them. (Perhaps it's because I've spent >10yrs in the industry (with employers where regular attendance to problem gambling & addiction awareness courses are a requirement). It is always emphasised that gambling should be regarded as a form of entertainment, with the possible up-side of financial gain. When a player is lucky enough to hit a big win (and I do mean lucky - the games are designed with the odds stacked against you), a sense of euphoria is achieved. But if people aren't careful, a need / craving to have that feeling again is felt. However, the rush of that first 100x win may never be felt by a 100x win again (as it's been done before, it felt great, so we could imagine the feeling of a 200x win being even better). What seemed a 'wow' moment when we started gambling can unfortunately become very 'meh' to us as our spins tally increases. We stop feeling lucky achieving what we would once consider a big win & instead (as we're now more experienced gamblers), can start to always expect something better).

Please don't think for one moment I'm suggesting anyone here is not in control of what they do online & I don't want to pour the proverbial cold water on anyone's fun. I also hope this doesn't come across as patornising or preaching - it's really not my intent.
