I'd just won a few pounds in a poker freeroll so lowered the lines as I often do to 9/11/13/17 to give myself a better chance of hitting the feature before busting out. Honestly the game was going crazy dropping in those stacked wilds every other spin on multiple reels, I was determined to hit a feature as I felt certain if I could just get the 10x multiplier I would definitely be looking at a 1000x bet hit.. in the end I hit four scatters twice in a row, with the features paying 300x and 550x bet, ended up cashing out £130 from £16 freeroll winnings .. so I guess it didnt suck too much in the end, but its got to be said that hit would of been amazing if I was playing more lines, the ones I werent playing would of nearly all been five of a kinds

If Im right x5 would of give you 2k but its also abit ironic as you see it pumped in the highest symbel but it didnt matter what sybel come in as x4 wilds is better than any 5 symbes

well when u have a bonus round like this, u wish u had got the 2 scatters instead which would atleast have gave 2x, got 15 fs +5 extra spins and won nothing, doa is crap cuz i had in total 10 spins to get the wild on a line but all i kept getting was 10 or other lowest paying symbols till the last spin when i got a hat, could have done with couple of more high paying symbols if not a wild

For god's sake Simon, you're in danger of turning into the Phil Hellmuth of this forum. ie someone who always remembers all of the bad beats he has taken, but conveniently forgets all of the suckouts he has dished out.

Have the courtesy, the decency even, to be thankful that you were "lucky enough" to avoid a win of ZERO here. Because there are PLENTY of people on this forum who have had a WD with 3 reels turned wild and come away with NOTHING. Be happy that you won at all. Because the alternative was going to mean you being potentially less than 20 spins from going busto. And THAT would be what really sucks.

Seriously though... Disappointing because of what could have been? Probably. Does it suck? No (IMO). Regardless of the potential of 3 reels wild, it's still 90x your bet size. Don't forget you can turn 3 reels wild and still get a big fat zero return.

Whilst I do agree there are some posting screenshots that maybe don't deserve a place in 'screenshots that suck', I do think that the basic premise of this thread is the near miss, the almost hit, so it seems fair to post screenshots that whilst a reasonable win in their own right, if that last wished symbol had only come to join the party, the hit would of earnt a place in the mega 3000x win thread!

I posted such a screenshot not long ago where I had 11 wilds on Great Blue and still only managed around 200x ... yes okay its a nice enough win, but one wild on the other reel would have made it several 1000x, or even a picture symbol in the gap reel could have made it over 500x.. its so rare to get almost four reels wild in Great Blue that to me, it was sooooo nearly there but just not quite I wanted to post it.

Three reels wild on IR with matching symbols on the other two reels isn't the same to me - its by comparison a fairly common occurence and there are many suckier variations (such as no win whatsoever). But obviously this is just my opinion, and it would be a shame for people to worry about posting things they think suck here for fear of being called out!

It's a fair point. Maybe we need two threads then....screenshots that suck (the good win that was almost a monster win) and screenshots that really suck (the next to nothing or actually zero win that was almost a monster win). Or as Balthazar once suggested a "big wins that suck" thread (he suggested that after a big wine and cheese hit on TFROL I think)

With regard to simon's IR post, that really should be going into the Best WD thread, not this one. In my humble opinion.

Speaking of Amber, I had back to back zero wins on her feature this morning. I've had plenty of zero win Amber rounds before, but never two in a row. And I was three spins away from having a zero win for a third consecutive Amber feature, before landing two scatters for my only win of that round. From a total of 4 Amber bonus rounds, I won a combined amount of under £10. I've lost £400 this week on IR, while betting only 60p a spin. And I got very, very little bang for that money. 4 WDs, 3 zero wins and my only win was about £6. A Troy bonus round that paid me 0.5 x my bet. Not one "half-decent", let alone good bonus round. No 5OAK of Amber, Michael or Sarah and only one 5OAK of Troy and it didn't even have a wild in it. My best win was a 24 x bet which came courtesy of 5 9s plus 2 wilds. Horrific spell of play and it is enough to make me drop to 30p a spin from now on....or take a very long break from playing IR at all. Because it is making Avalon 2 look attractive at the moment. Did I really just say that out loud?

There is something about Gillian's Wild Night feature that just doesn't sit right with me. When I first tried the feature out, I was doing ok to good at it. Was getting the "WN" activated and almost always got 2 reels wild and on one occasion, 3 reels wild and more often that not, I could complete a 5OAK. On occasion, I would get up to 5 WNs activated during the feature. And then all of a sudden....

NOTHING!!

I had a run of SEVEN Wild Night features that gave no WNs at all. And finishing with wins of less than 10 x bet each time. At that point, I then formed an opinion that picking Gillian's feature is an even more wasteful pick than Sarah's Wild Vine on IR. I have to assume (rightly or wrongly) that it is because WN is just like the WD feature on IR. And for that reason, I think that is why virtually all of the Playboy screenies we see in this forum are on Sofia's running wilds feature. Gillian's feature promises the same full screen of wilds potential as Sofia's feature, but never seems to deliver....for anybody.

yes I have missed out loads due to wilds do not count on jp symbels
