I would say that's a typical payout from that slot, even from 40 spins, since it's a very low-variance game. Look at it this way: if the expected payout is 95% (which it probably is), then the expected value of the 40 free spins since you bet $1 is 40 x $1 x 95% = $38 so you came out ahead by a couple bucks. :D

Trust me, it could be even worse! In Spin Palce I had 80 freespins on $1.5 and finnished with below $50 in total... Man did me and my girlfriend loose all faith in that machine! I only one time did a good win on that machine, and that was on $3 wagering, and had a ~$200 win in one spin, but cannot remember the combination. (Strangely enough I had a similar spin some minutes later on Munchkins... what are the odds... huh, pun intended!)

As the other members said, it's a very normal payout for a MG Slot, but that's why i'll not play on any MG Casino again, because you need sometimes really very long to get any free spins and when you get it, you will not win much on it, so you can only lose ;)

It definitely belongs here. Even if it were real money and you were betting $45, a 27x return is sucky. I remember betting $90 on Tally Ho once, got the 10 free spins @ 4x and ended up with between 10x and 11x (and 3x of that was from the trigger). :mad:

dont have a screen shot but just hit bonus on crystal waters and then retriggered 5 times for a total of 90 spins. those stupid fish came out 6 times total, on a payline, paying 2x all times. ended up with just over 100x the bet. what a crock.:mad:

If I played 25 spins at $1 each on Isis and got $16 of the $25 back (64%) that's a pretty darn good return for such a small sample in an extremely tight game. It would be difficult to get that high a return out of 25 spins on Spring Break/Thunderstruck, etc and those games are far more generous than Isis.

Granted your $100 win was about $40 less than statistically expected but it could have easily been much, much worse.

I've got sometimes between 75 & 100 free spins on Aladdin's Wishes and also won not more as a 100x bet, but i would never come to the idea, that i post it in the "screenshot that suck" thread :)

Isis is stingy on your balance, so I figure this player spun a few hundred extra spins to get that win... Could it be that spinning some 500 times with low payout, getting a 100x win still feels way off, :D
 
That does suck. Note: I always play the progressive. That would have yield you $14,000+ if you were playing the progressive version and had $1 on the bonus button. Hard lesson learned. Sometimes percentages and ratios means NOTHING!!!

That's a good strategy for slots, but not for video poker. If you had hit that it would have been $62.50 which is 250xbet but if you had bet the max of 5 coins it would have been $1,000 which is 800xbet. The payout on slots is the same regardless of how many coins you bet which is why that's a good strategy for slots but in video poker the payout goes up if you bet the max 5 coins.

To each their own, and this is just my advice, but you will be losing out on a lot of money if you hit a Royal and weren't playing 5 coins. And I can only imagine the responses you would get if posted a winning screenshot of a Royal Flush where you didn't bet max...
 
Thanks, SlotJunkie! I know what are you talking about, but I don't want to place 5$ per hand (max bet with 0.25 coin size). I'm just trying to increase the time period before busting ;)

The $5/hand on 4-hand video poker can sometimes be a little hard to swallow if you have a fairly small bankroll - but $5/hand on 100-Hand video poker is much better. You will get a LOT more playing time if you play the 100-hand version at $5/hand instead of 4-hand. Or better yet, you can play the 50-hand version with a max bet of $2.50.

The downside is that higher-paying hands don't pay as much unless they are dealt to you on the decision hand.

Yes, that's the problem, because the win was only $12 from a $5 bet with 15 free spins and 3x multiplier :(
