School shooting threats in Canada increasing

Looks like this stuff is spilling over from the USA into Canada.

The school down the road from my work was closed and shut down due to 2 threats. One of the threats was this posted on social media. This is getting quite concerning over here the increase in violent events. Just last month a school in Kitchener was closed down because a student threatened to shoot up the school. The media has to STOP covering this stuff. Its giving nobodies the feeling of being a somebody in the wrong manner.

What do you do with kids like this? I dont think you can just talk to them to see if they mean it. I think they need to be put in mental institutes for however long

They should name the student that was charged with uttering the threats. Probably a law protecting minors but when its serious crimes I dont think that law should apply

And I'm the opposite in that I don't think people should be named until after guilt is proven, especially in highly emotive cases.

I don't think bad guys should be named at all, especially if a shooting happened.
