Are halifax now letting payments go in on a Saturday as this is 2 Saturdays in a row now were my withdrawls have gone in very very quickly not complaining one was processed last night early hours at 3am and just got it now wow

Debit card visa. bank is halifax normally a Friday withdrawl or say a refund from a retailer made on a Friday would credit on a Monday at 3.15 however last week I got one on a Sunday which was a Saturday withdrawl and this week it’s two different withdrawls both made yesterday from Betfred and lvbet

I had a Skrill payment approved by the casino this SUNDAY, of all times, and then paid into my Halifax account the same day, which surprised me. Must be a new thing - musn't knock it!

A lot depends on the Casino (merchant) and their processing of the transactions. With debit cards, the banks are set up to pay on Saturdays. It depends on how quickly the processes are carried out at the casino and how quickly the casino want to release your money.

You can request your withdrawal and it might even show as approved but dependant on the casinos procedure may not have been ticked off or sent. They may wait and send batched information at the end of a day or at different intervals.

Yes its a dinosaur of a system ripping us off with its 2/3 day delays but Its no miracle some casinos deliver at weekends and others dont and some casinos take 3/4 days and others take only 1.

The times are differences in casino operation, not the system.
