Greetings all,
Thank you for letting me become a member of this forum and welcoming me into your family
Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Jake, am 24 years old, from Perth - Western Australia and likes long walks on the beach
An avid punter, I'll never get tired of the rush you get whilst having a bit of a flurry. And that is how I've found myself on your forum; to be able to share that passion and excitement with like minded people who get the same enjoyment from this little hobby of ours. On my 18th Birthday (in Australia the legal gambling age is 18) I went to Perth's only casino (back then known as Burswood Casino and today is part of the Crown casino's group - so Crown Perth) and the rest is history.
Video Poker is my game, and something I take very seriously and am proud of my playing style and strategy - and constantly striving to create even better ones. I'm constantly theorising and and analysing my tactics and this is part of the reason why I love video poker so passionately. My 2 main games are Deuces & Joker and the oldie but a goodie 53 card Joker Poker. Not a fan of the bonus variants, I guess I just like the originals, with the exception of Jacks or better - that one is best left for those who have patience unbeknownst to me and not looking for any thrill excitement or feeling of any kind. Good on them - everyone is unique in this world for a reason, I say good on them. But for me, it has to have a wild card. For some reason (and this applies to slots too - more on that later) when a wild card appears it triggers a response in my brain which results in feelings of excitement - so to me it is very important that what ever game I play - it has to have the chance or possibility of a wild card appearing implemented into it of varying sorts and types.
I also love slots! I really do, and some of my biggest wins have been from slots and I'm not talking about Jackpots. But due to how seriously and passionately I take my VP I'd say that 95%+ is VP - it's just in my DNA and up bringing for that matter (Mum always was and is a huge video poker player - learn't the ropes from her - thanks Mum ^_^) but still love to play slots when I can or feel like it. I'm open and respect all types and forms, slots, vp, keno etc etc. and respect each person's choice of game - if that's what they like and get enjoyment from - then that's awesome and not something to be judged. We are all on the same rollercoaster ride, let's try and enjoy it all together.
Oh and finally - well it's probably something I should of mentioned earler hah! You are probably wondering which online casino I play at? I'm at heart a brick and mortar casino player, but due to my current situation, today I only play online. The online casino that I found to have the best and most unique VP and that you were able to sign up with if you reside in Australia (the best ones for some reason give the ole' "We are currently not accepting players from your country... sowwy ^_^") is PartyCasino. The main reason I joined there was because they at least offered a few VP games which had a feature game ie 4 of a kind of better unlocks the "such and such feature". I thought that was cool, and something I only saw in brick and mortar casinos. So joined there and have never looked back. But some of RTG's slots do look quite enticing - maybe for a rainy day someday in the future - but for now PartyCasino is my home and my front door is always open
Anyhoo, that is me, if you have read everything up until this point then I thank you for doing so and taking the time to. What I mainly want from this forum is to quite actually be part of your family. I would love to establish friendships, mateships, and being around positive people. I'm a people person, I care about others probably a little too much for my own good, but if you're someone I respect and value, I'm always one to lend a hand and support. I'll leave it at that for now and hope to create a long term relationship amongst my fellow men and women.
I look forward to being apart of your family, and looking forward to doing my fair share of the dishes if you know what I mean.
Jake

The only advice I can give you is stick to the accredited section and you can't go wrong. Also you can try some in the Baptism By Fire section. There are some excellent casinos there too.
but Crown has gotten around this and just called them something else
