Hi all,

Was just wondering if it's possible to find out the RTP of Real Time Gaming (RTG) slots at a given casino. I know they have 3 settings: 91% 95% or 97.5%. Can the source code be analysed in the same way it's possible to find out the RTP of PlaynGO slots?

I have asked about some specific slots on live chat run at a site by AffAlliance group, they have said they are 97.5%. That seems unlikely. Can they be trusted?

Thanks

The good ole days of highest RTP setting, :(. I think most are or were middle setting but I would not be shocked if everyone is using the lowest setting now.

So in a nutshell, developers tout three versions of their games, but two are to all intents and purposes, decoys.

Because on the surface it looks like they're saying "But look! there are 3 variants out there, see?" but realistically only ever deploying the lowest one.

And let's face it, even those that do use the highest RTP, it won't be indefinitely, but rather, as a pretext to lure players in short-term

I honestly don't think any RTG casino runs at the highest setting - If you know of one - Please let me know so I can sign up

@KasinoKing might know more...

Unfortunately I know no more than anyone else.
I agree it does seem unlikely they would be running the top setting, but it is possible.
Not all RTG slots have 3 settings - and I don't have the figures for any released after 2009.
My table of their RTPs is still on my old rather out-of-date Slotbeaters website (haven't updated the table for about 2 years)

You get the 97% setting when using a free chip as a new player. When you then deposit, take a stupid 3000% bonus to 6,000 kind-of-thing, you move to the 91% setting.

Some may read into this as a joke but I have to back it up as being spot on!

Back in my early/naive days, I joined a good few of these, just to get the feel, break boredom etc etc you get the picture.

One strange day when I fancied a break from my once loved 32 Red and Guts, I threw £20 in and took some form of crazy wild bonus and started with about £200 balance as best I recall.

Never had any intention of even trying to withdraw, just wanted a long sesh and a break from my usual suspects, the difference from all the free sign ups chips was horrendous, they did not even try to disguise it in the slightest.

Shouts of rigged echoed around my living room, later as my knowledge built, I knew it was down to the facts quoted.

Yes, it was so bleedin' obvious at Raging Bull, the last time I played RTG, the games were different before and after depositing that it was embarrassing.

I thought that the game client had to display the RTP that the server sends down at session-init (e.g. Goonies: <Init profile=“standard” rtp=“96.00”>) somewhere in the maze of help info ??

(Or am I just getting the wrong end of the thread ?)

RTG games don't display the RTP in the help info, so I don't know of any reason the server would ever need to send down the RTP value.

Well, they should ! :) - Even the seediest fruit-machines here in UK state their minimum payout (72% - is that still the legal min ??)

I was referring to a Blueprint game but I thought it would be an industry standard to be open about these things.

Thanks for clarifying though RB
