if i read the following from the RTG -homepage:

Comprehensive Live Statistics All data is provided in real-time so operators can monitor operations and react to events as they happen. Operators can track affiliate stats, player activity, credit scoring, and key performance indicators easily and accurately. With our sophisticated reporting tools, operators can make quick decisions and implement growth strategies on the fly - a very real edge over the competition.

my english is far from perfect, but: what does that mean: "operators can make quick decisions" and "implement growth strategies". For a player that doesnt sound too good- does it??

all the best

I know where you're getting at, but they're not sitting there with the infamous button to press when someone looks like they're going to win ;)

In that context I'm sure they're talking about quick decisions on future promotions, marketing, etc...

Growth strategies on the fly

I don't know, man. Call me paranoid, but I don't like the sound of that.

What I would really like to see is some casino operator come forward and say, are or are they not able to adjust the payout % on the fly, or even for a certain player, and if they are, by how much? From 95% to 93%, or more? I think this is a relevant and legitimate question. OK, maybe they've taken a vow of silence, fine, but there are some casinos that are open about this. Lasseters and Ausvegas state individual slot payout %, and they're not allowed to change it unless approved by the government. The same goes for most land-based casinos. I like that a lot.

I mean, the casinos already have a house edge, why would they do this? I see no reason. Other than to make just a LITTLE BIT more money, and that for some is reason enough.

Some casinos I trust. I don't see 32red pushing the "take him down and take him down hard" button. But I would still like to see it in writing. Generally I think MG casinos are probably not able to adjust their payout%, but what do I know, and what about RTG (especially with that statement..) and Playtech, proprietary?

There's been a whole lot of paranoia going on in these forums lately, so maybe a casino rep or the Meister can give us some peace of mind here?

Cheers,
SM

In the past when I used to call a Microgaming casino support number. You could hear the sounds of online slots in the background while talking to an agent. I always thought they sit there and monitor those playing online.

Ok now I am a believer

Ok at a casino I have named on my computer,"Extremely tight" offers a 20% cashback if you lose your deposit. Ok, I asked for it, got it and went back to the casino to play it. Now you can only cash out 4 times this amount.
You all probably know of who I speak.
Went back to the casino which ran fine while I was playing my money, then when I went back on their money, the slots jumped and moved and did all kinds of strange things. This isn't the fault of my computer and it wasn't a coincidence. This has happened every time I am playing with their money.HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I have also never hit big there. They let me double my deposit a few times, that is why I stayed there, but this last time with the slots acting up again, did it. Oh, the cashback money lasted a whole 2 minutes at 20 cents a spin.
I truly and firmly believe there is a control button.
So you can take that to the bank or not. lol That is how I perceive it and won't be back there.:axeman2:

Or maybe the customer service reps are blowing their salaries gambling at some competitor's casino.

Yeah, somehow the idea of a 100 slot games being simultaneously monitored with the volume turned up doesn't sound very plausible:rolleyes:

It's probably just the CS representatives killing time playing slots while they let the frustrated customer e-mails build up....before answering them with gibberish like this:

(actual Casino CS response today to my question about whether I can receive my future winnings via Neteller despite depositing with a credit card in the past!)

"As Neteller refunds are the fastest method of receiving your winnings and making deposits, your will be able to receive your deposits due to the cashins at the cashins being audited before processing."

Must be a former IRS agent......................

If i am not mistaken, it has been confirmed that RTG has the ability to change the payback % on their slots as we as being able to change the number of decks in their blackjack games.

I doubt they do this on an individual basis but i guess its possible.

LOL even if casinomeister knew about it i doubt he would tell people about it, maybe he would but not 100% of what actually goes on.

I myself am pretty convinced that RTG and MG can change there payouts anytime and monitor your play for sure, i know they can do that because i was talking to a rep at "casino name here" and they accidently made a remark about what game i was currently playing at, while i was on the phone with him.

Well for a fact i know that Playtech can monitor anything and everything you do while logged into there casino software, i know this information because i am good friends with one of the customer support agents.

Well thats my 3cents!:D
