Royal Joker - Bonus Question

OK,

I have a question. Last night i received an announcement email from Royal Joker (MG) about their download casino with a message that stated they had left a 10 chip in there to try it out. They'd even set up an account for me based on an old Intertops one I have but don't use. What the hell - I thought I'd go play so I could write up a review.

I logged in, no 10 chip there, so deposited 100 and had a play. Lost it. Decided to put in another 175 to finish off. I like to test things like withdrawal times, support responses etc. A bit of luck and I was up to around 800 when my account suddenly jumped up to somewhere around 900 (didn't spot it straight away but got an email a few minutes after confirming I had had a bonus credited).

Went to read the promotions page/terms - sure enough there was a 100% / 100 match bonus. But accompanied by a statment "The Welcome Bonus on your first deposit cannot be dropped." Not happy about that. Also the bonus is accompanied by a 30x D&B playthrough (6,000). (See Edited To Add note at foot of post)

I went on for a bit, got to 1000 and went to cashout and it won't let me. Says I haven't met the wagering requirements. I emailed support saying I thought this was a bit out of order and could they remove the bonus, went to bed, just got up and still no response.

Now OK - the terms are clear and I was a mug to have deposited in the first place, but I can see several things wrong here:

1) As a player who doesn't take signup bonuses, you have no choice at Royal Joker. Every player who deposits has to take the bonus and meet playthrough which strikes me as, erm "deceptive" - is that the right word? It's early!

2) The bonus arrived some 20 minutes after I had started playing with my 2nd deposit, having lost the first, and when I was in a clear winning position.

3) When you go to cashout and it tells you you haven't met the WR, it doesn't tell you how much of the WR is left, or was originally required.

4) No 10 free chip had been deposited into the account despite an email being sent.

5) Support is damn slow - perhaps they were part of the Will Hill Merger and I missed it? ;)


I think I'm stuck with this, but at least I have some useful information for my my review ;) I just wondered if people here have any thoughts on this. And any "bonus players" out there, which slots and method is best for grinding out the remainder of the playthrough (probably about 2000) because I'm pissed off enough not to want to give back my winnings! I'm thinking Tunzamunni?

And why do I get the feeling there's going to be a long reverse pending time with no manual flush at RJ? :rolleyes:

EDITED TO ADD: Just received an email saying the cashier should allow me to cashout, minus the bonus amount. But as it stands it still won't let me. Seems like a glitch in the system - waiting to here back. Oh and the 10 freebie just turned up too LOL.

The WORST aspect is them using YOUR details to open up an account WITHOUT PERMISSION. This breaches their privacy policy, as this goes beyond "as is necessary" in terms of them servicing your Intertops account.

Affiliaters too should be taking a dim view, as in one sweep they have lost the potential to promote Royal Joker to existing Intertops players. This joins a growing list of casino operators trying to screw over, and/or freeze out affiliates from having a fair chance to promote casinos to the WHOLE of the available player base. Grand Prive did something similar with Villa Fortuna, and what followed later is big news - a total reneging on the principle of "for the life of the player".

I got the same too, but have not yet checked for the free chip. This review will at least serve to remind me of what would happen if I deposit. Seems players should wait for the SUB, rather than play straight away. If they do not like bonuses, don't even bother in the first place.

Casinos say they dislike "bonus hunters", but then make bonuses COMPULSORY, meaning every new player effectively becomes a "bonus player" on their first deposit.
 
Another point to make is that I don't believe it is fully launched at the moment. They're still working out the kinks.

VWM - please don't make assumptions that can give false alarms to webmasters (and players). Thanks!

That's the way it should be. Reading your story, that would be move in the right direction. Intertops has a good reputation and I think you they will let you to cash out. :thumbsup:
 
I am having problems converting the bonus - the website and customer service both confirms that French Roulette counts 50%. However, in reality it only seems to be counting 5%. Trying to get customer service to understand this is like trying to pull teeth at the moment.

EDIT: Also, I believe the wagering requirements are 30x(D+B) (just like Intertops) although the website says just 30xB. Not impressed by these lot so far.

Our bonus system is currently work in progress.
We are working on crediting the bonuses automatically.
Customer can unsubscribe if they do not want bonuses.
We can deduct an automatically credited bonus on a customers request.

2. WITHDRAW
The Problem was connected to the bonus issue.
Customers can withdrawal the cash balance at any time.
The bonus balance will be deleted.

We are always interested in helpful suggestions so we can improve our casino.

We have corrected some of the Terms & Conditions on the website.

Please note that the wagering requirements for French Roulette and all other Roulette games is 10%.

Information on the playthrough requirements:
1) Welcome Bonus - wagering requirements of 30 times (bonus and deposit) before bonus credits are transferred into their cash balance.

2) For any other bonuses, unless specified (Royal Joker Jump Start, Wild Card Mystery Bonus, and so forth) the wagering requirements are only 30 times the BONUS.

Thanks Teresa. Your T&C's probably need to be updated to reflect that a customer can opt out of the bonus as when I checked it said you had to have it and couldn't opt out.

If a played joined when your terms and conditions joined and took a bonus when Roulette was listed as counting 50percent, then that player should have his play honoured at that level, not receive an apology for any inconvenience.

Hiya. At your Casino you may want to note that it is always better to just Offer all the different Bonus you have, instead of just automaticly giving them to a player, and now making them give them back if they do not want them. The Player should not have to jump through the hoop like that.

A lot of players do NOT want any Bonus. They do NOT want to be tied down by play thru requirments on games, and have the game that they actually wanted to play in the first place, excluded from the list. There are more of these players than you might think.

Outside of Bonus, here is what is important to a lot of the rest of us.
1. What countries are excluded from being to play at your Casino?
2. How many different options are there to deposit money into your casino?
3. How many options are there to withdraw winnings out of your Casino, and how long does it take?
4. Customer Service.
 
I deposited 20.00 at Royal Joker, did not claim any bonus and just played it up to 270.00

I withdrew that amount and without any notification, they reversed my cashin!

I would really like to know if I have been ripped off by another MG Casino now..it would be the third within 2 months.:mad:

Needless to say that my mails remain unanswered.

Finally I got reply, they reversed my cashin because I did not send the ID docs. So it was my fault.

However, they never requested any docs, there was no communication at all.
It is just stated at the terms that one has to send in the docs.

Maybe a nice email would have been helpful.

Simmo has clarified, but the recent trend HAS been to "screw over" the affiliates, so my "assumption" does at least tell the industry something (how things are perceived by the players & affiliates). With Grand Prive, and then Casino Club, affiliates have suffered breaches of contract, and severely negative retroactive changes to agreements. This has bred an expectation that this has become the new "normal business practice", so when a third group appears to be doing the same thing, it is first compared with recent experience. If Intertops made the announcement quickly, then their affiliates will know there is no intent to bypass them, however, players receiving the email, but who are members of certain forums that reward players for signing up THROUGH THEIR LINKS, such as GoneGambling, will feel they have been mildly "done over", and will assume the affiliates have been "screwed".

In my case, GoneGambling promoted Intertops, and were they to promote Royal Joker, I would feel "screwed over" through NOT having the opportunity to open an account through a GoneGambling link. UNTIL Simmo clarified, I though that GG would also be "screwed" because all their Intertops players would not be able to join Royal Joker if it became available on the site.

Opening accounts for players without permission should be outlawed. If I had merely been sent an email INVITING me to open MY OWN account if I so wished, none of this misunderstanding would have ocurred, and no alarm would have been caused.
 
I would like to thank Teresa for posting replies to problems it is reassuring to me when casino reps take the time to make sure their customers are taken care of and explaining the casino side of an incident. I know from personal experience that Intertops is honest, fair and will take care of it customers if given the chance. You just need to have patience and give them the benefit of doubt. If the problem is justified and passed to the right department they will do what is right. My problem was not even their fault but the card processor they used. It took about 2 weeks, once they knew the processor was AWOL or so it seemed since their phone number was disconnected after a week of excuses. Intertops had already paid me and when the processor ripped me off they paid me again. When I see negative posts about Intertops I know there has to be explanation. I am happy to see another casino Royal Joker operated by a group with Integrity you don't always find that in online gambling thats why I love Casinomeister for the work they do to give us the information we need to make smart choices with our money.

I completely agree with what you said above. I received a letter in the mail from royal joker saying they opened an account for me. Intertops is great but the last thing I need is casinos to open accounts for me.

Must be I made my first deposit after they changed their rules. On my promotions page I can "signup" for the 100% bonus, you have to ask for it. I'm a little confused about the mystery wild card bonus though...after reading (and I made an assumption that it was an automatic bonus) you have to play on certain days to receive the bonus? Is there a specific amount you need to wager to be considered for this bonus?
I was able to make a fair sized withdrawal from a $10 easter gift, the money was in my QT account the next day. So far, they have my respect for taking into account the customer/player's needs. My emails to them have been answered promptly.
 
I joined here a few weeks ago same deal intertops sent me 10 dollars and opened a account for me. After that was gone i had the 100 percent match took it but i deposited low 40 never cashed out. Next promotion was if you wish to deposit 100 in a 14 day span you will get another 100 percent match.
So off i went. 3 deposits to make 100. Now out of that i had 3 wild cards given to me following day after my play time was up 5 dollars 10 dollars and 15.
On my 4th deposit of 50 i withdrew 500 it was in my account through intertops the following day. Next deposit was 40 withdrew 235. I had a few more deposits with back to back withdrawals only one did i wait 3 days for as they had server issues. Now during that time i had gotten on each deposit the wild card bonus and also a random bonus. Intertops had all my docs so never had to resend them at all so that was kinda nice. I found their games a lot looser then
other mg casinos right now and had fun.
 
Royal Joker is a sister site to Intertops. Use your Intertops log in name and password, but add an RJ in front of your Intertops name. (Ex. if your Intertops log in is ABC!@#, your Royal Joker log in will be RJABC!@#)

When are people actually going to read all the posts and understand that Intertops, as with a lot of other MGS casino groups, SHARE THE SAME USER DATABASE across all casinos within their group?

They are NOT creating an account for you at another casino within their group, they're only giving you a way to log into that casino using your log in information from the other casino? It's not like this is a brand new account. As an American, I am very pleased with this, because under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have the luxury of signing up at another MGS casino until they lift the ban for new American accounts.

When i first joined this casino i have to admit i was more then amazed customer service was only a click away to answer questions. Their bonus offers clear, their wild card promo was great and so on. Now as the month has gone by, all i see from the casino is emails stating here is a bonus just made for you. Click that box and it takes you back to the first 3 deposit bonuses, and as you know those bonuses are not valid to a player that has made more then the required deposits. So why do the send emails with offers that are just made for you. Only to find there is nothing there to offer you more then the competition that has been running since the casino opened up.
Sorry royal i have had more then enough even with your last email answering my question just took me back to the same competition page.
Live chat has been down for the longest time. sorry royal i moved on.

I am a US player at Royal Joker Who had a account setup for me by Intertops. I have been playing at Royal Joker since they opened. In that time, i have cashed out 3 times (500.00, 175.00 and 100.00) and all 3 times I was paid very quickly. I now have a cashout for 1,400.00, so now the casino wants my ID documents. So i scanned and sent them, Checked with support to make sure they were of good quality. support said they were acceptable. They then tell me my cashout will be in my account yesterday, well it was not. So i wrote them again and they said that if it was not in my Quicktender this morning, to call them by Phone. well i got up and checked my Quicktender account and it was not there. so I logged into my Royal Joker account and low and behold the 1,400.00 was back in my gaming account. This Kind of treatment and runaround is NOT ok! Up until today, support responds in a matter of minutes (10 min at max) Now I contact them about why my cashout was returned to my gaming account and no one answers the email (over 2 hours now). When i recieve a reply i will let you know. I hope i do not have to Pitch a Bitch about this casino as i have been very lucky here, and support (at least up to this point) has been quick and kind.

I just recieved another email back stating that i need to send my documentation, Which was done 3 days ago, and I double checked with support to make sure they were of good quality which i was told they were. So i called them, and they looked through their emails and found it. the lady i spoke with said she would call me back shortly and let me know what is going on. I wish Teresa was here to expidite the payout!
