It's just f*cked up.
Roy was a passionate, intelligent and generous man who had the rare quality of being rock-solid in his beliefs, whilst being willing to listen and debate those who challenged those beliefs.
Why can't God take the scumbags and murderers etc? We damn well NEED people like Roy on this Earth.
I'll tell you one thing.....this forum will never be the same for me without him.

It really is messed up. I just cant believe what is going on. One thing in life I have never understood is why God takes the good people. Dont know any details, but after doing a little bit more research, it is confirmed that he was taken from his family to spend some time with the good lord.
I was reluctant to start chatting with Roy LOL, and now kick my self in the ass for waiting so long to build the friendship we had. He could always put a smile on my face no matter what the convo was. Already miss you Roy

I really liked Roy.
He seemed to be in good health, and at the peak of his life, or masculinity so to speak.
His many contributions to this forum, have made me liked CM even better.
His threads were always fun or interesting, he made the jokes i sometimes would have liked to make...
I liked the way he discussed things, even when i didn't agree: i found him pleasant presence overall.
Another unexpected death, unfair and definitely unwelcome.
I hope his Family and close friends will be able to smile and laugh again soon, in remembrance of him.
They have my deepest sympathy: He was a great guy, and will be missed by many, me included.

did not know Roy personally like many of you here but I enjoyed his posts. His personality always shone through. He had wonderful interaction with many of you. I am sure he will never be forgotten. Safe in Gods memory. Asleep now. So sorry for his family and for those here who are hurting. X

Always a great shock when someone you "know" is suddenly gone.
His theories and opinions didn't always resonate with me, but he was undoubtedly a positive element here at Casinomeister and he was always prepared to argue his views in an adult manner.

Someone passing- expected or unexpected is always a sadness. I didn't know him personally but as another CM longtimer I certainly "knew him" through his posts and appreciated his contributions and sometimes irreverent sense of humour.

I have made a lot of friends on the forum since I became the rep for NordicBet and during this time I became very close with a few members where conversations went beyond gaming, Roy was one of those people.
The amazing thing with Roy was no matter what the email was about, he always left me with a smile on my face.
Although I am deeply saddened by the passing of Roy, as I write this I can’t help smile about his crazy collection of avatars and his constant investigation into the Microgaming Error 2 code where a constant stream of information was passed through the MG help desk.

What?? I just can't believe it. I've been sitting here in shock staring at the post box and not knowing what to say. I didn't know him that well but we had a couple conversations and he was always very considerate and helpful - and funny, man he could crack me up sometimes. Just seemed like a hell of a nice guy - he'll be missed...

The thing I most admire about Roy's posts here was that, even when the subjects being discussed got heated, he could still tinge passionate feelings with a sense of humour to keep the topic in perspective. And some of his avatars.... class!

I wasn't lucky enough to know him personally, but we certainly swapped plenty of PM's. He was always looking to help, if he spotted something wrong at 32Red he'd be the first to PM and let me know. He wouldn't expect anything in return, he was just looking after us - I even joked he should be on the payroll once!
I get lots of PM's which I always try to answer quickly, but whenever I got an email saying 'Seventh777 has sent you a private message' - I knew it was important.
A genuine nice person.
