I responded to an advertisement for Roxy Palace and took a 100% sign up bonus and a 100 free spins.

They did not honour the 100 free spins correctly.
They gave me 100 free spins on Cashapillar at 00.01c per line at 30 lines when the offer was at 100 lines.
You can see this under their free spin T&C found here: roxypalace.com/en-au/promotions/roxy-rewards

Maximum number of lines on Cashapillar = 100
(I did take note that the T&C were outdated by 18 days, but I didn't think it would affect anything.)

I first contacted live help. They told me the offer is 100 free spins on 30 lines, even though it says otherwise in the T&C.
Then they said they are having a further look into it, and did not respond for over 10 minutes. Then they offered me 100 free games on a different game but the offer was less than 1/3 of the value of the advertised offer. I said: if they are going to replace the offer with something else I would expect it to be of equal value.
And after spending about 45 minutes in live chat it was clear that they would not honour their promotion and without good reason.

In my opinion the offer was pretty standard. There's no reason for anyone to think that it was a mistake. I had no clue anything was wrong until I saw that the free spins were less than 1/3 of the advertised value.

I then made this post and alerted Mark.

Obviously done to attract new players in the belief that they wouldn't notice. I didn't grasp the lines adjustment thing myself when I was a rookie slotter, so many signing up to the 100 spins will play away in blissful ignorance.

Even worse that they can't recognize their own error and rectify it when it's in their T&Cs! What other tactics will these casinos employ to diddle the player?

Tune in next week to find out!

Hi Petro,

Thanks for the PM.

Can you point me in the direction of the online advert you saw? Was there a landing page for this promotion? It's not one I am aware of.

I am satisfied thankyou Mark. :)

Maybe I could have worded the title a bit better. Sorry about that :/

I don't think it was deliberate but that doesn't change anything because it has the effect of attracting players, who would otherwise not deposit.
