Hi, could anyone explain how these two work together?
If you think of each slot "cycle" as a bucket of numbers(winning and losing).
Is it like if a player has lost a lot his random generated numbers now come from another bucket with more winning numbers? And vice versa?

An RNG generates Random Numbers continuously - there is no "bucket".

There are different types of slot online though, which work in different ways.
The main categories are what I personally call "truly random", "weighted", "lottery" and "compensated".
The first 3 types all give out totally random wins, and the RTP is calculated from the overall odds of hitting all possible reel combinations.

Compensated slots work completely differently and give out wins in a programmed manor which ultimately give the machine it's pre-set RTP. Good examples of these are AWP slots & pub fruit machines on which you can easily observe that the longer you play without collecting any wins, the bigger prizes you are offered.

I give up on the thinking of rtp, rng ect, Theres alot of speculation out there. Well just about in every thread lol,
I got around 3 grand in the 1st week of gambling after about 30 quid worth of deposits on win spins at 30p play, 10 years later and still trying to work things out,
