Hey Guys,

Today Rizk told me that from this date they will no longer accept swiss players.

I think this is because Switzerlands will introduce „site blockings“ from the 1. of July 2019 for foreign Online Casinos (as Switzerland will start with own licensed swiss casinos. I think 2-3 casinos max as it looks haha).

Do you guys know any other casinos who pulled the plug for swiss players?

I think this will be a HUGE topic in the next months as A LOT of swiss poker players etc. are furious.

If you do it like the UK and you offer players dozens of casinos it‘s not a big issue, but in the case of Switzerland there will be 2-3 casinos with maybe 100-150 games, so all players will probably go crazy about this and do everything to still play at their favorite casinos if they do not pull the plug...

We had to do it unfortunately. It seems that the Swiss Government will be extremely strict on Operators who are still allowing Swiss Players therefore no other choice was left except to leave the market :(

I wanna see how they want to control it. This will blow up soon i guess as what they offer (afaik) is completely horrible.

How can they legislate on it - banning their own population from logging on to a foreign website? Another greedy f*** government/cronyism at work (similar to Australia). This is why we have black market casinos still going strong.

The worst thing is, we had the choice. There was a vote last year, and unfortunately over 70% of swiss people voted for it.

I don‘t see a problem with this if what they offer is decent, but in the case of Switzerland all i heard and saw so far is so bad, you can‘t believe it.

Also the block will be so easy to override so i‘m really looking forward how this will develop.

Why do they need to make it decent though? They now have both a public mandate and a monoploy - so expect awful site. Re the public vote i wonder how balanced the pros and cons of this was advertised before the vote.

Yes. And you know the worst thing? They fucked all foreign competetors be making a rule that if you want a online casino license in switzerland you already need to have a landbased casino in switzerland... what a scam!

Same here, registration is already closed. Deposits and gameplay are blocked from the first of July.
I've opted to close the withdrawal process as well but the other guys didn't agree there, still don't understand why ;)

There will always be a gameplay from a Swiss player I'll never forget.
150chf deposit > 960k chf profit.
All kind of slots, various vendors. Most insane streak I've ever seen.

Bloody hell! Could almost buy a round of drinks in Zurich with a win like that!
Wasn't @hoff1985 was it? :D

Belgium is another closed legislation when it comes to gambling. We have 9 casino's with a Belgian license, 3 of those being a waste of said license. None of the big Malta licensed casino's out there will let us sign up, only some Curacao ones that operate in the shadows which you rather avoid, and there is a blacklist of URL's ISP's have to block on their firewall. The biggest problem here is an online casino has to be affilliated with a brick & mortar one and there's only 9, possibly a 10th coming so there will be a license up for grabs at that point.

Australia is actually worse as they don't have an Australian licence for casinos only sports and racing.:(
