Rival software review (unnecessarily long)

One other thing I noticed is that the Robin Hood bonus must only be for max coins bet, because I never had to suffer through it with a 4-coin bet.
I hit the Robin Hood bonus round once every $150+ investment @ $3.75 a spin (max bet) and won anywhere between 100 ($5.00) coins (nickles) to 200 coins ($10.00). Truly bad paybacks on every "BONUS" game they offer it seems when a "BONUS" round should be something to look forward to, not cringe when you get it...

The software is nice, it flows good, the payouts SUCK, they could give out all the bonuses in the world and it would not matter. I sent in an email asking my account be closed, it stated they would get back to me within 12 hours, well 2.5 days later no support response, great job!!

Possibly there's huge payoff potential hidden somewhere within the I-slot games, but I haven't found it.

Personally I think it's just smoke and mirrors with these i-Slots. Lots of eye candy, but, get down to brass tacks (the guts of it) and the payouts are shocking.

I've tried them a couple of times, and both times they've bled me dry. Walking away thinking I'd have more enjoyment flushing my bucks down to toilet S bend :D

I agree the bonus rounds are pathetic, would be more fitting to call them sucker rounds if you really wanted to be harsh.

This on top of the latest screw up with their loyalty points is not a good sign imo. Least they fixed that up. Though, read today that they are back crediting more loyalty points due to another glitch.

Call me a glutton for punishment, for I played again last night to see if I "missed" anything and give them the benefit of doubt.

Well, I made it to the final round and lost...and got NOTHING! OMG...what a dissapointment! Isn't a "BONUS" round supposed to pay something? Anything?? Not a big screen saying you have to START ALL OVER cause you missed it??? Isn't this the reason you "go for it" and invest your funds?

Bonus means: bonus (n.) Something given or paid in addition to what is usual or expected. Well, they need to change thier "BONUS" to something other than that since nothing is being paid in addition to!

Its the free spins on the Reel Crime game that pissed me off, 2 sticks of dynamite but the free spins never win anything, you can win a bit on most of your spins but not when there is a multiplier. We will see how this plays out, I like the software but will not play anymore due to the very weak payouts, hopefully they will address this or they just wont last.

I gave it one more shot (yes, I am a sucker for bonuses).

Deposited $25, received $75. My balance quickly hit about $130 playing the Gold Rush slot (an excellent slot with frequent good payouts in my opinion).

I took it to RC-2 Art Heist and played @ 60 cents a spin (4 coins per line in order to avoid Robin Hood and avoid the $100 20xWR bonus in case I actually stole the painting).

The amazing thing was that my balance stayed in the $100-130 range right up to the final $200 of wagering requirement. I hit the free spins on a regular basis and had some decent scores (up to about 50x bet size).

I actually stole the correct painting and completed the game. You would not believe the payout if your thieves escape to paradise! WOW!!!!! :)rolleyes: ) Haha!!

When I completed the WR, I had about $60 (plus some comps), so I lost at a rate of only 5-6%. Who knows, I might actually break even for the promo with today's possible winnings.

To my knowledge, there are no more issues with the comp points. Where were you reading this?

As for the slots, Rival has listened, and is now acting. Stay tuned..

soflat, puleez tell us what the actual "payoff" is when getting to the end! For $2400 in wagering requirements on a deposit, @ $3.75 a spin, please don't tell me it's $50 or something like that...I would die....so now I am only dying to know....

Welllll, OK. But first of all, if anybody wants to play through the game and be surprised by the final payoff (like I did), don't read the end of this post. It will really spoil the fun. :)

I hope the casinos and developers don't take the criticism the wrong way. I really like Cocoa Casino and had a great session there yesterday thanks to the 3-reel slots.

I thought 50 or 100x the bet would be a good payoff after avoiding all the pitfalls and committing so much time to the gameplay.

I played 60 cents a spin, stole The Scream, and the robbers made it all the way to the beach where they were relaxing after the great heist. The final screen came up and I had been rewarded with :eek2: :eek2: $3.75  :p Then I was returned to the beginnning of the game to start over  .

OMG are you kidding me? Geez, the payout on that slot must be like 50%. Heck they could give 1000% bonus and still make money.

I guess my question about whether you can get the bonus at more than 1 of their casinos is a moot point. WHO WOULD WANT TO?

Paul, I answered your questions in a PM.

The expected payback for the slots is approximately 96-98% depending on coins played and which game is played. None are less than 95%.

As for the bonus claiming issue, I believe I answered this query several times now, in addition to personally responding to you via a PM. Any online casino reserves the right to deny promotions to any player. Rival Powered casinos are not new with this policy, but Rival Powered casinos such as the T4G group of casinos make it clear to the player before depositing unlike some other brands. I've stated several times that if a player would like their bonus eligibility to reviewed, they may email the manager and request a review. Of course, there is no guarantee that the account status will change. There is no term in the T4G casinos specifically stating only one bonus per person in the 400 group, but there is a term specifying promotion eligibility is at the discretion of the casino.

If you would like me to personally request the manager look into your account, Paul, please send me a PM with your account details and I'll forward it on to the manager.

Cheers,

Rob

I apologize to Cocoa Rob as he did PM me 3 days ago to let me know that there is no written rule saying you cannot get more than 1 signup bonus. My bad:thumbsup:

Regarding the payouts of these slots, if they are 95% or higher, there must be one helluva payout that none of us here are familiar with:eek2:

You've got to be chittin me! No way! OMG..... definitely run from this casino!

I made it to a couple of levels but never to the end, and if I did make it to the end and the bonus was around $22.50 for a $3.75 wager, I would have died! Even the worst slots online pay more than 6x your bet...geezes!

To invest that much money and TIME trying to reach the end, you would figure a few hundred dollars at the least, I would anyway!

Don't WALK, RUN !!! RUN !!!! RUN!!!!

This is a very short-sighted view by the T4G group.

While no-one can argue the casino should not have the right to exclude players without actually HAVING to state the reason, they do need to be very thoughtful about how & when this is done.

If this group wish to establish themselves as a reputable & ethical operation competing with the likes of 32Red etc., they need to portray the right image.

In denying Paul a sign-up bonus at the second casino, the message they are giving out is ‘new players are welcome at our casinos, unless they have the audacity to actually get lucky & win!’

I think most (if not all) of us here would agree that it is impossible to ‘systematically abuse’ a bonus playing slots. You either get lucky & hit a big win, or bust out way before WR. Casinos who do not welcome lucky players may as well say they don’t want any players! For surely players who are lucky at a casino are far more likely to return & play again than the unlucky ones.

This group should not be denying Paul further bonuses, they should be positively encouraging him to sign up again so that he can lose his winnings back to them!

Just my 2c….

Well, yes and no.

How many 10x bonuses are there these days? They could probably be nice and let everyone get sign-up and monthly bonuses at all the casinos, but then wouldn't they have to tighten up the games or increase the WR?

I would prefer one 10x bonus to four 20x or 30x bonuses.

I suspect if Paul were a regular depositor, they would let him claim as many bonuses as he wished. They might even throw some money into his account unexpectedly in that case.

"They could probably be nice and let everyone get sign-up and monthly bonuses at all the casinos, but then wouldn't they have to tighten up the games or increase the WR? "

From what i read in this thread the answer is NO the WOULDNT have to tighten up the games or increase the WR because they are already super tight. But oh yeah i forgot they are 96-98% payback:)

Just avoid the 5-reel slots. They'll steadily eat up your money unless some kind of miracle occurs.

I have had like 3 offers for 300% bonuses and now a 200% bonus offer. I must say i do not understand how a site can turn a profit on a fair slot machine offering these kinds of bonuses.

CocoRob said "The expected payback for the slots is approximately 96-98% depending on coins played and which game is played. None are less than 95%".

If none payout less than 95% can the casino still make a profit offering these bonuses?

I still have a strong feeling these %s are "off".

They can make a profit if the slot is 95%.

Suppose you deposit $25 and receive $50 bonus. Your WR is $1500. 5% of the WR is $75, so you lose your bonus and deposit.

20X slot bonuses are never any good for the player.

I didn't have much luck on the art heist slot, but on the bank heist one I've completed the map several times, and I've made a profit on this slot.
This thread just made me log in to Mayan Fortune because I wasn't sure on the name of the slot, and of course I had to play some as well, and I just managed to finish the whole round again in very short order. I got 5 free spins at the end at a 2x multiplier, netting me around 12x bet.

Rival's slots are decent imo, but all in all I'd rather play on an MG casino if I didn't receive a good bonus offer, which I did and made a good profit from after clearing WR. Waiting for my withdrawal now, and I can't say that they're particularly fast.

FIVE free-spins??? I never knew it went to those dizzy heights!
In all the times I've played that game I have NEVER had more than 3 at x2, and 4 out of 5 times it's 2 @ x2.
This 'final bonus round' is a real sucker-punch on the i-slots and completely ruins what should be some of the best games on the net.

I played it Tuesday & got right to the end, getting all the 'best outcomes' in each round, in just 133 spins playing 75c a time, and still still lost $23.
I also think I noticed that at the end my bank seemed to go up by half the amount it said I had won in the spins.
I'm going to watch this slot VERY carefully in the future in case there is a bug... :eek2:

The I-slots idea is nice, with the continuing storylines and stuff that keeps you playing. I can see it losing its charm fast though, I played As the reel turns 1 yesterday, and before I could advance more than twice I was getting really tired of the picking casino chips feature, wishing it had an autoplay button that just gave me a random payback. The only time it got moderately exciting was when I hit it during 2x multiplier freespins.

What these slots need for any staying appeal are some decent feature wins. Maybe you can get them but I haven't seen it so far.
