Hi there,
I'm doing a small article on the Rival Gaming bonus system (as used by Cocoa, Paradise 8, et al.). Just wondering if anyone has recent experience with these casinos. My personal records may not be up to date; I played at Paradise 8 some time back and I don't really intend to make any further deposits since the bonus rules are very unfavourable to the player.
A key peculiarity of the Rival bonus system is the ridiculously low table limits during bonus play. I fully understand how this is intended to counter bonus hunting. Does anyone recall any examples of this? I seem to remember that the table limit for roulette was set to something like $5, but this may not be up to date information.
Also, does anyone know if doubling up in video poker has been similarly curbed?
EDIT: I just tried downloading Cocoa casino in order to investigate these things myself but for odd some reason the software told me that my brand new account was not qualified for any bonuses (I had planned to sacrifice $20 in order to explore the limits myself, but no ..).
So now I'm hoping that someone in the Meister community can help ...
