Hey everyone,
Sorry I have not posted in awhile. The reason is this: I joined CasinoMeister in April, because it looked like a great place to share stories and get information, which it is. The reason I have only looked at postings, and not said anything, is because ever since I did in May about Rival, I have not been able to win a thing. I thought, maybe they're mad at me for opening my big mouth, so I will keep it shut. Well, now I realize it just doesn't matter. My question is, after complaining about Fantasy Fortunes, I heard from a lot of people to try Scary Rich. It was great for the first two weeks, and got me hooked. Ever since May I have lost $30,000 betting pennies on Scary Rich at Rival Casinos. I belong to all 10, and the only one that I haven't had awful luck with is Mayan. I got $916 from Simon Says (that was my 30% cashback for my July losses, that tells you how much I lost in July at Simon Says alone), but anyway, I couldn't even get that $900 over $1000. I just lost another $2500 in 6 hours at Simon Says. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same problems, or if I should really close my accounts since I obviously just can't win at Rival anymore. It's not just not being able to win either, it's being able to play. I'm going through thousands. I have never spent this much in my entire life. It makes me sick to look at it. And I know everyone says, why keep playing it? I think, it has just got to pay out. I know the variance on Scary Rich is high, but for goodness sakes, I've lost 30 grand, you think someday I'd hit at least $2,000 or something. I'm just wondering if everyone is having the same luck on Scary Rich, or if Rival just really wants me to quit playing there.

Heidisue,

Take my advice, close all your Rivals accounts but one, maybe two, limit your deposits per week and quit chasing because you will never make up what you have lost.

I closed all my Rival accounts but Sloto'cash and make one deposit a week, just to keep up account. Reason I chose Sloto was because they pay quick. Last month I did manage to break even. I don't play max credits on the $2.00 slots anymore because you lose your BUTT in 5 minutes, whereas at $.60 you can play a little longer. :D

Give them a break. Take a breather for a while.

Hi heidisue76
Take annie and bb28's advise.
What you don't know when you see the "winners screenshots" is that alot of these winners have put lot's of money into getting a screen shot like that!
(There are some who do win without a huge investment, but in all reality I think those are pretty rare.)

IMO Winners Screenshots should come with a "Warning Label"...stating
"Warning, do not do this at home!! alot has been invested into getting some of these screen shots!!"
I myself used to look at the winners screen shot thread every day and I honestly thought I was the only one who couldn't win!!! :rolleyes:Until a member told me about the amount of money some of those players invested just to get the screen shots. it was alot!

If you are in the "chase" for the "big hit".. then there is no fun in gambling. and If there is no fun IMHO why bother? Gambling is not a part/full time job for most players. It should be a source of entertainment, because you can not count on it being a source of income!
When I played to win and I was in the chase I couldn't win a thing. Once I played for fun, that's when I started to win!

I knew someone who would call the Dog Track his "part-time job".. but after a few years I looked at him and said "I don't know of any part-time jobs where the employee pays the employers!!"

Please re-evaluate your situation!! You need to step back and look at the overall picture! You are chasing ONE thing. There are so many software providers and acreditted casino's but you got caught in the chase! which I think we all do at some point in time, but not to the tune of $30,000! That's a pretty hefty price to pay for a screen shot!

Just to get the thrill of seeing the 3 Frankensteins and hopefully the 3 Draculas in the feature, I have made a couple of thousand spins on Scary Rich at $0.20 per spin. Got some good wins but never saw 3 Draculas. Had a lean spell in the middle where I went thru more than 500 spins without the feature though got 5OAK Professors and Wolves?. Overall, I think I am up by $80 in this slot which is quite good considering that I only deposited $43 with a 300% bonus. Frankly, I dont mind losing the lot but I have spun hours at different slots over the past 3 days and I am very satisfied with the game time.

Chuchu,

People are going to tell me I am wrong, but I have found that with most of the new games, the $2 max ones, that if you stay at $.20/$.40 per spin you will get the bonus more often and it will pay pretty good. If you go over that or try max, they suck. Except for the new Wilderness slot and it sucks all the time. I rarely deposit more than $50 at a time and usually only once a week. This keeps my account current and every now and then I get lucky without losing the farm.

As far as the Frankensteins, they have gone on vacation as far as I am concerned. Haven't seen them in so long, I forgot what they look like.

I agree, I have had more bonus rounds on scary playing .40 and .60 than when I up the bet to 1.00 or higher. I am a true low roller so I'm fine with the low bets, but this does seem fishy:eek:

I also agree with you guys on the .40 and .60 cent bets......I've had a few really awesome wins at that bet size. I think once 400+ followed by another 300+ really soon after getting another bonus round at a .60 bet. Wooo HOoo! I have had a few other awesome wins at higher bets but I don't bet high unless I'm way ahead and I've also learned a few hard lessons about that........set a limit as to how far to go down and quit there.

I know excatly how you feel, you played so much and expected to hit the big one and you hate not to play there because you think sooner or later your gonna hit the big one because you invested so much money and if you close the account you feel like they got the best of you and your sick because you lost all that money, do yourself a favor, just walk away. Go back to the threads and read the stories, there are some good casinos out there, I recommend if you want to continue to play you play at microgaming casinos, but my honest suggestion is to just stop playing, it's not worth it..
Good Luck to you

I really like the notion of saying how much was needed in deposits to hit that winning screenshot............maybe no gambler really wants to know how much his/her wagering is truly costing and perhaps the real winner is the **cough** casino *cough* gambler who doesn't have to bet the farm to get a good screenie. You know, a random win? Hell, so much of the glory would be lost if you see that someone hit a $10k JP, then see that it took $12k in deposits:D to hit it.

I deposited $200 in slotocash last night, just to play Scary Rich, as I've heard so much about it, and the last few days played it in fun mode, where I managed to hit some pretty good wins. I played 1.20 spins in real, and quickly hit a $120 line win, so I thought...that'll keep me going for a little while. Played almost down to my initial deposit with only a few minor line wins, before hitting a feature, ....around $30 ... shortly thereafter another one, also $30, then came the good one with 2 wilds and 2 crows on the 2. spin in feature. This last feature paid around $460, which is pretty decent for a $1.20 spin. I continued to play maybe 150-200 more spins, and found that nothing whatsoever happened after that feature, so I ended up cashing $500. All in all a good experience, but when that sucker dies it really dies!

How in the world can you get thousands of spins on Scary Rich off of $129? This is one of the worst (paying wise) slots that Rival has.

I racked up 11 comp points with a conversion rate of $500 of slots play for $1 in comp points. The only thing I missed out on was 3 draculas during the feature. Just yesterday, I deposited $30 for a $15 bonus and after playing a variety of slots withdrew $160. Almost a third of my play was on Scary. The features were mostly dead except for the last one with 2 draculas. Very soon afterwards (not in the feature), I got 5 crows (connected with 2 wilds).

So do most of you guys still believe that Scary Rich and the others are "REALLY RANDOM"..., and if so how do you explain all the great shots in the Winner Screenshots thread when the game first came out and now you hardly ever see one or if you do it is for a very small amount...just asking...:D

Can truly random slots actually go cold and offer no substantial payouts for months at a time...;)

 I think you need to go look at that thread again. There's loads of shots.

There's bound to be 'dry spells' while people go to work to earn some more money to play with after the bloody thing just ate all their cash AGAIN...

Personally I think that slot is over-rated and extremely high variance - it can totally decimate your bank balance in minutes. I would never recommend that low-rollers play it. If I had the power, I would get Rival to put a health warning on it: "Scary can seriously damage your wealth"

KK

Scary Rich is very addictive. We all want to hit the 3 Frankensteins and then the 3 Vampires during the free spins. To counter KK's statement that "Scary can seriously damage you wealth' I would suggest that the Rivals gang up and introduce a Scary Rich tourney with $3/5 buy-ins. Even if you lose it's only a few bucks but you can still get a reasonable pot if you hit those 3 wilds.

The thing is I know this machine has a high variance, and that's the excitement of playing the game, but the variance should pay sometimes. I mean for goodness sakes, I go almost 400 spins without a bonus round, and then you get one and win $10. Betting $2. That's what's nuts. Also, what difference do the three scattered wilds make when they pay nothing? I got so frustrated trying to win money back that I was betting $3 a spin. Believe it or not through the course of the day, I got the frankenstein with three scattered wilds three times. It didn't pay anything. Betting $3 a spin, it doesn't take long to go through hundreds. I think each of them paid less than $500. Does the machine even spin 5 birds during a free spin? And I have never seen more than 3 draculas. I don't know, it just seems it would pay out sometime. But I don't know why I keep thinking that, I would have to get a free spin and get 5 scattered wilds on each of the ten spins to even come close to winning back what I've lost there lately, and I don't even believe that's a possibility considering I've spun that machine hundreds of thousands of times, and have never even seen 5 birds on a free spin, let alone 5 wilds. I've never even seen more than 3 wilds on a regular spin, unless of course they don't make a line. :). lol.
Thanks for listening guys,
Heidi

I agree Heidi, I have the same bad luck everytime I bet big on that slot too...heck for that matter I don't have much better luck on it when I bet low either...
