RIP Dame Deborah James AKA Bowel Babe

Pretty sad.....she was diagnosed in 2016 and knew she was on borrowed time, but that didn't deter her from searching for treatments or even a cure.

She was intent on living out her life to the fullest and was even up until recently seen out, whether it be at Ascot or the Jubilee celebrations, always carrying herself with poise and warmth, and in good spirits. Had a great sense of wit and self-deprecation, and inspired others (never heard her dubbed Bowel Babe though, Jesus Christ, our Media)

So yes, we all knew she was in the final stages, and I'd read a snippet about her merely a day or two ago. With that in mind, it still seems shocking. R.I.P

Actually, this one can't be pinned on the media mate. She had a bit of a self-depricating sense of humour.

It was she herself who called her fundraiser campaign the Bowelbabe fund. It's also her Twitter address (@bowelbabe)

Fair play, Media forgiven :p

And that in itself shows exactly what we already knew, that she wasn't going to allow this to deprive her of her spirit.

She raised £6.7mil through that fundraiser too - unbelievable
