A father and son are out driving and get into a terrible accident, the father passes away, they rush the son to the hospital and prepare him for surgery, the doctor comes in to opererate, takes one look at the boy and says, I can't operate on this boy, he's my son. How can this be?

Slightly harder one for you guys then:

You're in a room with 3 light switches, marked A,B and C. In a room next to you, behind a closed door, are 3 light bulbs marked 1,2 and 3. Each switch turns one of the bulbs on & off. You can't see into the room with the light bulbs.

Play around with the switches as much as you like; take as much time as you need. Once you're finished, you go into the next room with the light bulbs. You can't see the light bulbs until the door closes behind you. You can't go back into the switch room. If you've done it right, you'll be able to work out which switch activates which light bulb.

How?

Well if you used the switches in a sequence of A,B & C then flip the first switch (A) and leave it on for several minutes. Turn it off then and turn on the second switch (B) and then almost immediately turn it back off again and then turn on the third switch (C) and leave it on then look at the light bulb and feel it if it's off. If it's on, then the third switch (C) controls the light. If it's off and warm, the first switch (A) controls the light. If it's off and cool, the (B) switch controls the light.
