I'll just explain what I mean by this Microgaming over the past year have jazzed up many of their classic slots such as Adventure Palace,Loaded and Halloweenies to name just a few. These games have been fairly profitable to me in past sessions, before they were "done up" and made better looking/minimum bet changed to all lines,stop/spin feature added.

Yes Microgaming they look fabulous and whatnot but why is it now such an arduous task to hit a damn feature, big win or god forbid a decent 4 of a kind now?! I surely can't be the only one who's noticed this? Additionally their new games are mostly dross too. Again it's solid to get a feature and solid to get any big win(with the exception of GOT 15lines). It's almost like MG now control how big we can win(like a traditional pub fruit machine with a 40% payout rate) they are as well making 5 of a kinds worth 50000 coins at minimum stake we'll never get them anyway! Ok rant over..Thoughts on this fellow meisters??

I just noticed it on Hot as Hades as a clone of Hellboy....im not able to hit the bonusfeature, stopped trying it after a few sessions i busted out.

I had thought that initially first time I tried Adventure Palace HD, like it played differently somehow. Then on another day I played it again and it was bombarding me with good hits, followed by the following day where it played like dog. So I guess it's the same it's always been :eek2:

It does beggar the question why MG chose to revamp these games at all, graphically they were fine to begin with! If it ain't broke, don't fix it springs to mind. Like the sharp new graphics are going to entice new players or something......they're old 9 - and 25- liners!!

But still, I don't see why MG wouldn't have taken the opportunity to address the gameplay a little when doing the re-skins, at least it seems the rythm of these slots are different, so yeah, they do play worse than what we're used to!

One of my fave sayings and in total agreement on this one.

Adventure Palace (original) was in my top 3 all time fave games and I'd do hundreds of spins a week on it.

HD version is definatley a different game or at least a different variance.

Gave it a shot when first released and quickly learnt my lesson.

Old version, 5OAK top symbol numerous times, 5 scatters, multiple re-triggers etc etc

New Version, Anger, not a scatter in sight, Monkeys? - what Monkeys are those then??

Haven't been playing slots long enough to have played the classic version of the slots but I definitely hate this new Adventure Palace HD.

For a short while I played this slot daily and it fed me nothing good at all. I did get 4 scatters once or twice and one of the mid tier 5OAK with elephant wild in free spins but even when it felt somewhat 'hot' one session (as in triggering numerous free spin rounds) it felt like I wasn't even winning anything at all.

I have had at least 10 sessions on this slot in the past starting at $30 and betting no higher than 0.18p and I have only one memory of being in a winning position - and that was $20 above my starting balance before it all went south. The rest were slow grinds to death or in typical MG fashion a quick rollercoaster ride of a cliff.

Played both versions of Adventure Palace and Loaded and although the look is slightly better on the new versions, I don't like the spin mechanisms as much. I don't play Loaded much anyway now but with AP I'll stick with the old version where there's an option.

Didn't really notice much of a difference in game-play/payouts but only done a few hundred spins which is nowhere ear enough to tell accurately anyway.

Im not sure theres any difference in the payouts, i think it might be tin foil doing its work :p as Microgmaing made a point of stating that the payouts remain unchanged it was more a move to make the classics mobile friendly HTML5.

The only re-vamped slot i know so far that did recieve more than cosmetic changes was Chainmail HD, with a free spins round, and the classic old version is still playable at least at download MG casinos, theres Chainmail and Chainmail OLD :)

This is the part which puts me off the most!

Tin foil aside as Wild Reels says there probably isn't any payout related differences, I have done no where near as many spins on the new as I have on the old.

As mentioned its the way the reels 'drop' really 'orrible !

Let's hope and pray that they leave Thunderstruck, AJB, Spring Break alone!!!

I'll write a scathing email to MG if they dare mess with Thunderstruck have fond memories of it, shame on you for comparing it to Cruddy AJB though... :p Spring break is also a great game! Yep it's awful Jon I hate the new ones to be honest! As for Chain Mail Wild-Reels it ate £20 in about 5minutes just on autoplay...Mg mobile casino is just awful constant lag and discconection issues.
