i would avoid them if i was me, their license is in costa rica

"We are a corporation incorporated under the laws of Costa Rica and are fully operating legal. The website and associated products are belongings from Condor Gaming SRL, De Casa Matute 50MTS Este, San Jose."

they are licensed in costa rica, so it means that they have a simply comercial license, not a real online gaming one.

Rembrandtcasino and license

As a player, I would always do my due diligence on gaming sites I would play on: one just need to search on Google on past player experiences on cashouts. It is also worth to read found treads to the end to understand why sometimes sites did not pay out winnings. Operating under a Costa Rica "license" or one of Curacao does not necessarily mean that the site is not operated ethically or players winnings are being denied. It is often a commercial decision why operators decide to work for example with a Costa Rica license, and not with a EU license. A EU license does not automatically mean that the player winnings are protected and honored: just remember the Everleaf poker players who tried to recover their winnings through the Maltese Lottery and Gaming Authority...

Well these guys aint too honesty to say. Or what do you think from this case?

PLayer receives email for 20FS on southpark, plays and gets wagering fullfiled, balance of 180€, depositing 20€ to get the cash out, after that decides to play afterall a bit more. Hits 200€ on wildturkeys with the money he deposited. Plays lot more until decides to withdraw 850€. After one week of '' investigating '' The player is denied all the won cash, gets paid 25€ (maxcashout of the original FPS) and the deposit refunded on his casino account as BONUS? :D
For my opinion the casino should have cut the withdrawal to 695€ since he hitted them with his own depositing money and never touched again on those FS funds.

it depends
curacao, its not the best its true, but its different from costa rica licenses, in costa rica online casinos is the same license that is to have a "clothes store", its a simply commercial license, 0,0 of protection to the players.

Rembrandt Casino

No matter what license with Rembrandt, my experience playing there was positive actually.
Got my free spins and even five euro free no deposit bonus, had a good time with plenty of games.
Just to make sure, upon reading these comments, I requested a payout of my winnings recently. They were on my bank account within three days upon request, as far as I'm concerned that's okay with me. When they remain at their current quality level I will continue playing there I suppose.

To be fair to the casino - an awful lot of casinos have stupid rules like this - I have read many similar cases in the past, most about RTG casinos, but some others as well.
Players should ALWAYS check with the casino to see if they are allowed to play on with bonus winnings once they finish the WR.

Recently played here, deposited by debit card and won quite a bit. They are now requesting a notarized copy of my passport to withdraw, so it seems like they are making it unnecessarily difficult to get your money out. I don't even know where to start with all this notarizing business. Seems they are owned by the same group as Casino Seiger who have a bit of a history for screwing with winning players.

Notarized ID especially from UK players is complete BS. Stick to accredited sites, this alone is one good reason to avoid Rembrandt. As you say there should be no need, and I bet your funds are still reversible....

formalities

Since having come across this more than once, I believe this is common usage for online casinos to request a (notarized) or otherwise legally certified passport copy, no big deal.

Certainly isn't common for UK players, i've never heard of it apart from with more dodgy places who don't like to pay out. Anyway, they have since said i do not require a notarized copy but we shall see how that goes. I'll be sure to update everyone if they stick to their word or not.

Just an update on my withdrawal. Ive been waiting a little while for these guys to sort out my KYC now (admittedly i was a little slow submitting the documents in the first place due to not having a recent bank statement), but they seem to have gone awfully quiet about it all. Its been a few days and i havent even been sent a message to say they have received them.

Ok, it seems they are now completely ignoring me . I've sent Id off 3 times now and been chasing, all i got was 1 reply asking for me to resend the documents as they hadn't been received (which is a lie as nothing bounced back and i sent to multiple addresses), they aren't responding to my emails at all anymore. I wouldn't recommend anyone deposits here for the time being.

I asked them to close my account, got no answer on this. Instead they send me bonus SPAM 3 times a week.

Looks not so good for me. I would avoid this casino.

Received all 1000+ Euros from them today so they did come good in the end, the verification process is a little drawn out for my liking but apart from that i can't complain :)

So it took 3+ weeks Andy? That is unacceptable, and unusual for Netent casino.
I think they are getting lax with licencing.

I am definitely not going to play at Rembrandt/Sieger, so thanks for the thread folks.

My first experiences at Rembrandt Casino

Thanks all for your warm welcome.
I read a not 100 % positive thread about Rembrandt Casino. A guy was waiting for a while til he was payed - finally it was obviously resolved and he got his money. I joined Rembrandt Casino a couple of weeks ago to get the first deposit bonus - so, I deposited 50 and started playing with 100. - It is what I usually do at a new casino. Well, at first I lost my deposit and the bonus and went down to 0. As i liked some of the slots I tried it again with 30 after a few days and didn't use a bonus at all - so I didn't have to fulfill any wagering requirements. My first smaller winnings I kept to go on with playing on the next day, so my account slowly increased... - After 4 days I was up to 467 Euros - so I decided to cash out 400.
Unfortunately I lost the remaining 67 but the 400 I requested arrived in my bank account after 5 days, which is not mega-fast but ok... - After I got a bit p..ed off with 888 I prefer Mr Green and Rembrandt Casino at the moment...
Anybody else who had positive or negative experiences with Rembrandt Casino? They have a good choice but I know that they are still quite new.
kind regards
Andy
P.S.: The verification process was necessary but they didn't ask more than other casinos do.

It's usually better to start a new thread than to bump an old one. Especial one that was started by someone banned for bad spelling

I'm sure there are plenty of places in the accredited section that offer the games you like to play. If you stick to these, you are sure to have a better experience overall. especially starting out.

still a newbie

hi - thanks for your response.
I am still new here and checking out the scene :-)
Just wanted some additional information/experiences regarding Rembrandt Casino. Well, I will keep playing there at the moment as I haven't experienced anything bad so far. Of course I will keep you informed :-)
