Ok, I've made up an easy contest this time. Just a guessing game :)

I just played Bonanza on 20c/bet. I decided to do $15 to see how many spins I did before they were either gone or I got a bonusround.
No bonus, so the question is: How many spins did I manage do on those $15?
Closest win $50. Contest ending at 6pm CET today, so 5 hours.

Rules as usual, member for at least 3 months and a minimum of 50 posts.

My guess is that you managed 350 spins before busting out. I must say that I prefer questions that have provable answers just for transparency reasons or we could end up with accusations of friends transferring money to friends etc :thumbsup:

Well this is easy to fix. I could send someone the answer before the contest is over and maybe Dan could check my history at that time too.
The thing is that anyone could still send the answer to his/her friend so how in the world will it ever be provable?

Noone knew if my answer was correct in my last contest either. It would be impossible for anyone to prove.

I was not pointing the finger at you or anyone else Tirilej. I was only pointing out the fact that some type of questions can easily be used in order to benefit a friend and to avoid such an issue it is better to chose a transparent type of quiz or question.

Not at all Tirilej. I reiterate that I was not pointing my finger at you or any individual. I am also not suggesting that anything underhand has already happened. I do think it is fair of me to point an obvious possible loophole when I see it. In future I suggest that these questions are made totally transparent.

In the past during these giveaways there has been clear room for folk to conspire to make sure an individual will win. I am simply pointing this out so in future there is no room for doubt

Tirilej there is never a good time to point something like this out but it did need pointing out. I repeated that I was not pointing the finger at you or anybody else. Why spoil it or everyone else by removing your offer? All I have done is highlight something that should have been pointed out a long time ago?
It is your choice to send it back but all you are doing really is punishing another winner in an attempt to make me out to be the bad guy.

I don't agree with you there. It didn't need to be pointed out.
We are all friends in the same community. At least I see it that way. I have never felt any need to NOT trust anyone.

Anyone can lie about not winning or send the answer to someone else, but that's up to them in that case. I don't judge people.

I am very pleased you changed your mind.
I never said that anyone took advantage of any previous offers but I feel it right to point out that it is best to offer a question that is totally transparent to avoid any doubt.
I chose to give away a few quid to an individual in this thread recently rather than offer a competition so it is not as if I have anything against giving to a specific person.
But that money I gave away was my money which was not gained from the pass it on.
I strongly believe that pass it on money offers should have a fully accountable question so I do think it was correct to point it out.

I'll just chime in here and say that I myself am a very genuine guy...and I knid of suspect that everyone in this thread is also (Gals included of course).

So I don't worry about people being in cahoots with each other as we are all friends in here, right? Right guys?

I had no intention of making the thread sour for a short time by my original post. To my mind it is others who chose to be offended that has made it this way. As I have posted above I have reported my own original post in order for it and the rest to be looked at. Now I am not going to comment further

You know I did get offended at first but then I realized that we're just seeing it in different ways. I understand that you don't trust people as much as I do and that is ok.
I just hope that my years here and my reputation makes people believe in me. If they don't then it's actually their problem and not mine.
I suggest the rest of you take it the same way as me. You're all good people, and this thread is a proof of it :thumbsup:
 
TBH, If I wanted to give £25 or so to a friend.
I would just give them it and not hold a competition on here lol.

I know one of the comps I did, I PM'd Dan the answer as it was a tricky one having to guess the number of coins in my avatar.
Nobody doubted it for a bit because even though we dont know each other really, there is no point in people holding a comp if you are going to rig it.

Times up and I had to go through all answers now. I almost thought the last guess would win because it was close, but not close enough:p

I made 482 spins and if I've searched ok then it's actually Incrediblestuff that was closest with his 500.
