When Colin did that question about VS history, I was reading the "about us" page and had an idea. How about sending 1 CM member to Malta?
The problem is the cost of the trip, but if VS want to help and we have that minimum contribution you said, it could be done.
Depends on how many here would be interested for that.

Sorry I just wouldn't support this and I don't think this is what the thread is all about. Only one person would benefit from this and I like the idea that when someone contributes, there is the opportunity for someone else to benefit should they win.

Just sorry it couldnt be more, but as a low roller and low depositer, and hence a low withdrawer, thats the lot lol.

Only ever had one four figure withdrawal, in 2012 haha. £1100 from a £25 deposit, dont even know what a 3 figure withdrawal is lately much.

That's exactly what happened to our boiler last Winter

Landlord really dragged his arse to sort it too, had to go out and buy 4 of those electric heaters (you know the ones which chobble your electric credit like no tomorrow )

2 weeks with no hot water unless we boiled kettle and did he offer me a penny back towards cost of heaters

Hope its something real cheap and simple and you get sorted stress free mate

Good idea Nik, but let's not aim for Mars when we can't even get to the moon (I mean us normal mortals).

I see this thread more as something where smallish comps are doing their rounds which give other CM members, who might be out of budget, a chance to have some spins and maybe a lucky win to pass the comp on.

Keeping it at this level will ensure it is and stays as some fun contests and does not cause any big financial commitments, which we might not be able to afford that easily. Should VS come up with a "Malta visit" contest, then by all means but we give them a large, and for many the largest, part of our gaming budget, hence, IMHO, such a trip should not be financed by us players.

What happened so far is already extraordinarily and every new comp contest further contributes to the spirit of this great CM community. Let's keep it that way.
