Redbet/Whitebet - 3D Secure card deposit issues

Hi all,

I've been playing on Redbet/Whitebet for quite a long time now, but I've never ever been able to deposit through my credit card. It is the easiest way for me to deposit, especially on weekends (when my bank doesn't let me authenticate payments through my phone, for whatever reason), so recently I've been trying to solve this issue.

Having contacted customer support on several occasions and gotten the typical "clear your cookies/cache" and "we've forwarded your complaint to the relevant party", I'd now like to see if anyone else here has had this problem?

The issue specifically is when the site attempts to load the Visa 3D Secure window (I use Nordea, if that matters) - it tries to load this window into a frame on the website itself, something that the payment processor doesn't like for security reasons. On Chrome, Firefox and Safari, this results in a blank frame where the authentication should be carried out. However, on Microsoft Edge, a proper error message is displayed, explaining that the content can't be displayed for security reasons (as I explained earlier). A very simple fix for this would be to simply have the authenticator open in a new tab, or a new window, rather than have it in the page itself.

Would love to hear some thoughts, specifically from people who have to authenticate their credit card deposits through 3D Secure (unsure how common this is outside of Sweden, pardon me if this doesn't really affect that many people).

Also, why did Redbet/Whitebet do away with the monthly bonuses? I liked those a lot...
 
Are you referring to VbV --> Verified by Visa?

I use that all the time with Ecopayz and Neteller where it sends me an OTP to my mobile. Never opens in a new window though and works fine every time.

I know Nordea is a relatively small bank. When i receive a transfer from them it always takes at least 3 working days whereas from others i receive them within 24hrs. Maybe that is part of the reason.

Different payment methods use different authenticators, perhaps Ecopayz and Neteller have solutions that load fine in these in-line frames, but in the case of this Nordea authenticator, it doesn't like being loaded like that. Or maybe it's misconfigured somehow.

Either way, I've sent this thread to the Redbet rep so hopefully he can provide some explanation when possible. :)

Try this, before you click on the submit button hover the mouse over it, then right click and see if it offers you to open it in a new window. Maybe that will work.

I tried that already, doesn't offer me that option. I also tried inspecting the frame in Chrome, taking the URL of the deposit window, pasting that into a new tab and trying to make my deposit that way, but that simply results in a different error message.

Damn' technology.... mostly works fine but sometimes we just can't beat it. :rolleyes: :D

Tried to log-in to my Redbet account and do a deposit to see if it is the same with my Visa but got this message. Another one excluding me :oops: ...must be recent as I played there just a few weeks ago. Very nice of them to not inform their players and one has to find out like that. :rolleyes:

I deposited at Whitebet on Friday via credit card and there where no issues. I can't recall any issues with Redbet either although its been some time since I deposited there
