I've just been on VS and seen a new game called Reels of Egypt by Red Tiger. I don't like Red Tiger slots at all but I always load a new game up anyway to see what it's like. Here's how I got on...

The slot loaded and up comes a 3-reel, 5-line game with a multiplier reel on the end. These sort of games bore me to fuck in all honesty but since there were a couple of bonuses to play for I decided to play for one of them and then probably never play the game ever again, much like I do with all their other slots.

Fast-forward half an hour or so and I was down £75 from playing at 20p a spin, having seen no win greater than £2.00, and certainly no bonus. The bonuses come in on the multiplier reel, and the symbols are rarely on the reel at all by the looks of it; you get a special sound when one is and you can see it going past sometimes. You also get the occasional tease where the multiplier reel lights up a different colour, but nothing of note ever happened as a result from any of the 20 or so times this occurred. The game does absolutely nothing in the way of bringing any hope to the player of achieving meaningful wins, or instilling any belief that you have any chance of getting an enjoyable experience. A lot of RT games are like this, but this one seems to magnify the problem further, if that were indeed possible. I wish I could tell you what the bonuses are like but the game did nothing at all to make me believe that I was going to get one any time soon. I stopped playing at this point because it felt as if I could have gone on forever like this.

This slot is utterly devoid of entertainment and feels like it's been designed by a competition-winner who has been invited to chance their arm at designing a game. The base game is so staggeringly bereft of excitement I didn't even feel angry afterwards; just a little bit empty and sad. It's like they put all of their time and effort into the features and then just slapped any old shit together for the base game, and then didn't even sit in front of it and play it to see how truly disgusting it is. If you're going to have a line win that returns less than your total stake, at least stack those symbols up on the reels a bit so you can get multiple instances of it in the same spin for fuck's sake.

To summarize - I would hate to tell anyone what games they should or shouldn't play, but from about £5 in it felt as if I was just pouring money down the drain playing this monstrosity, and now I feel like setting fire to my laptop. I also feel a bit dejected and sad, not for the money lost, but more the way it was lost and the time taken in doing so. Now I'm sat alone in the dark and I need to go out and get something for tea, and I can't really be bothered.

If you don't want to feel like me, maybe don't play Reels of Egypt by Red Tiger. Or any Red Tiger slot for that matter, because let's face it - they're all shit aren't they? I mean, look at something like Rainbow Jackpots - I've never played a slot where so many wilds land on the reels without a win being there, or one that uses stacked high-paying symbols to block winning combinations. No need for it, no fucking need for it at all. Is that what players want?

Laser Fruits is probably one of the best Red Tiger slots, and it's shit. Reels of Egypt is certainly one of their worst. That says it all really.

I only play red tiger if I happen to load one by accident and think well I am here now let’s give it a try. Like you the usual scenario follows. For me though they are not alone. You either get LV slots that give reasonably frequent features that pay x5 so you are never going to be ahead enough to withdraw (you know who you are Quickspin). Or HV that take forever to hit a bonus but never pay HV. That’s not to mention Yggdrasil. God knows how they survive. IMO the worst provider by a mile. Just look at the big winners section, when do you ever see a big win posted by the vast majority of these providers?

Guess you don’t like it then?.

After reading your review I had to go try it in demo.

You are right it is boring . But took me 20 spins to hit free spins. And it went and gave a line of wilds with 10x multiplier which paid £200 on a 20p bet

But will not be on my list of slots to play for real lol.

Ive had 1000x + on vikings go to hell and wolfhunters
I like yggdrasil games actually but often the progressive feature will disappoint ofc .
I'm not sure how legal these progressive games should be where you have to fill a meter or collect things in order to finally get a bonus . It's a huge trap and often the bonus pays peanuts compared to what you "invested" and if you don't compete the collection then the bonus (and rtp) is left unrealised so it's horrible from a responsible gaming standpoint too . One good thing is you can lower the bet to minimum and it won't cancel your progress it just integrates your bet into the overall bet so that's better than some providers
anyway , a bit off topic

I like red tiger games but yes they are the biggest trolls out there . That pirate's plenty seems pretty scammy too with collecting the X's only to get basically nothing at the end . Different reels which seem to pay the same anyway (zero mostly :p)

I don't trust red tiger demo play, I gave some of their games a go on their own site, I'd never seen so many random features trigger in 5 mins play

I did real play that one dunover reviewed recently, can't remember the name, but it's based on crossing a road :what: I got up by £5 at 10p stake, so promptly shut the game down as that felt like a miracle result

I have heard good things about the ninja game but have you tried to get an actual bonus on it  .

Tried that game the other day it's called spin city i think. Played it at WH vegas it was garbage .

Ninja game is okay i guess tried it a few times and got free spins a few times. But found like most Red Tiger games the bonus paid about £10 on 20p stake lol.

that's the one  played it a betfair as they did a stake-bonus on it. every time I've tried that ninja game it feels harder to bonus than vikings and bonanza combined

It looks like the OP and people in here have overlooked something... This is not made by Red Tiger at all. It is made by Cayetano which happens to use the Red Tiger platform. I don't like any slots made by Cayetano.

In terms of Red Tiger slots... I have done well on them getting many great hits ranging from 300x to around 700x. Just in the last few months this year, I have hit a few times for over 300x. All of those pictures have been posted here in the screenshots thread.

Most of the slots by Red Tiger do not have high max wins and since they also have lots of random features in the basegame kinda like Blueprint slots, it makes sense that not many people would like them.

My list of Red Tiger slots that I enjoy are: Rainbow Jackpots, Totem Lightning, Esqueleto Mariachi, Treasure Mine, and Lucky Little Devil.

There are also a few slots that are under-rated, but can pay huge... Mystery Reels has an exciting bonus round and the basegame can pay great. Fruit Blox is also under-rated since when you get the bonus, it doesn't look like it can pay much, but if you get more than one retrigger, then you notice the potential... It is like "Magic Mirror Deluxe 2" in terms of that each time you get a retrigger, it turns a symbol to wild so if you get many common symbols as a wild, the hits will add up!

In terms of slots that I can't win on... Laser Fruit. Yep, I like the concept, but I can't win on it to save my life! :)

Has anyone tried Vicky Ventura by Red Tiger?

I think it might be exclusive to certain casinos but the bonus frequency makes Bonanza's look quick, this has a 10k max payout and expanding ways .
But it's just taking me 3 sessions of over 2000 spins in each to trigger free spins and it paid a miserable 30xbet as is the normal ballpark for nearly all RT bonuses.

I do like the ideas behind their slots but the variance is awful and they can be doing without losing RTP to those hourly, daily jackpots that probably gets won to the highest staking player most of the time.

It's a Cayetano game, not Red Tiger. Have you tried Pirates' Plenty yet?

FTR Cayetano are Bulgarian-based and are Paddy Power-Betfair's own developer. Red Tiger supply their games too through the RT aggregation. And Red Tiger are in Bulgaria too - it seems some common sound packages have been used across both brands, as I often get confused myself when hearing the reels and stop soundbites.

Is that the game where you have to sail a boat around a map to unlock the 6th reel? Lovely idea and well presented as always, but the supposed benefits of the extra reel are absorbed by reducing the potential of the other 5 reels all of a sudden, so having got there I didn't really feel any inclination to continue playing.

I know Reels of Egypt is a Cayetano game, but as they use the RT platform and the look and feel is therefore so similar I'm happy to tar it with the same brush!
