Ready to call it a night for gambling!!

If you normally lose at gambling, whether for entertainment or not, and your conscience keeps your son on your mind, I definitely think your decision to quit gambling is the wisest choice you can make. That money can go toward care for your son and family which will pay greater rewards than hitting any old jackpot.

I've quit again recently and life does go on quite nicely.

If you think it's time to put gambling on a back burner... then it IS time.

Take care of yourself and family, hope all goes well for you.

If coming back here doesn't make you feel the 'urge' then pop in every now and then and give us a shout.

I wish you the best!

Thank you both for the kind words and thinking of me, very thoughful and I thank you for that.

Don't worry I love my frineds here and will always pop in everyday to say hi, YOU ALL keep me sane and I need that fix from you all :p

I DO NOT have a gambling problem by all means, I get paid $1850 in hand per fortnight and $1300 goes stright into Katherine's account (my girlfrined of nine years) and she pays the house payment, cars and the general bills which leaves me $650 for smokes, fuel, general stuff and about $200 in gambling for the 2 weeks and all... I really need to start giving Katherine $1500 and living off $350 for myself.

I think that is wonderful Same_old. It seems you have everthing under control but its even more impressive that you can take a break before you have a problem. Alot of people wait until its too late and I find it admirable that you came to this decision before any problems arose even though you are a responsible gamer!

Be sure to pop in and say hello!!:)

All you have to do is look at that beautiful baby of yours same_old. :) I wish you all the luck in the world. Me, I'm going on 2 months now..
