Read those Newsletters...thank you Buzzluck

I don't always check my mail beyond once a day. But before I retired for the evening, I found Buzzluck's newsletter in my junk mail box (now fixed). There was a trivia contest where the first five responders got 20euros.

Well, it was a few hours later, but I sent my response off figuring it was way too late, but to my great surprise, I got an email informing me I had been one of the first players and had won!!

The free chip had a 25x WR on slots, and a max of $200 (as a depositing player), and one thing I really really liked was that the email had all the promo details. No links, no running to nine different pages, just congrats and these are the terms in plain language.

I bombed, got it up to 22.83 or something at one point, and a very long way from meeting WR, but I very much appreciate the contest and the chance to win. I must say, I believe player support at Buzzluck to be very good.

So, read those newsletters, I always love a chance at a free chip.

Caught the show on Saturday, entertaining as always. I do hope some of the tech issues get resolved for Buzzluck, I enjoy the live lounge. My housemate was watching the videos over my shoulder we were having a right laugh.

Hey Jazzy, was that the one where they asked about the rapper and the MTV Music Awards? If so, your story is really interesting. I was sitting at my computer when it came in, getting ready to pick up my daughter from school....so it was 3:28 p.m. I sent my answer back to them at 3:29 p.m., 1 minute later. When I checked my email later on Friday night, there was a reply at 5:00 p.m. saying:

awww man you JUST missed it! xxxxxx was our 5th in with the answer, your were 6th, so let him know he's LUCKY lol.

So I was sixth, one minute after receiving the email? Yet you won sending in your answer hours later?

To be fair, I've never deposited here and if they want to just give out free chips to random depositing players, that's cool with me....just stipulate it in the mailer. But to say "first five correct will win", not cool.

I've been through this before with (I think) Villento, and I WAS a frequent depositor there. Every single week I would enter the contests that said FIRST 20 replies win blah, blah......... Well, I never won once, not once. And there were times I replied within a minute or two as well. Yet I saw others who won frequently, many times over. Possibly much larger depositors than me, no idea. But this sort of solidifies what I've always thought...that first in doesn't mean a thing. It's who they DECIDE to give it to.

I would have gotten around to depositing at Buzzluck. I loved their Live Lounge, and I think the people there are great. But on principle alone now, after reading that.....will never happen. Design and word your promos in a way that is upfront and honest. And if we're talking about a different mailer Jazzy, then maybe I'm being too hard on them......I still don't think these things are first come, first served. And that's not just Buzzluck, but all casinos. Honestly, I don't enter too many contest type things, just can't be bothered, lol.

Hey Jasmine, i was one of those 5 players as well. I only just saw it out of the corner of my eye. :D
Needless to say, i didn't win lol.

Thank you tho Brian. :)

Yeah they should drop the pretence of First so many answers and just say correct answers will be picked at random- end of show.
No arguments that way ;)

I closed my account with them because of poor returns and the "RTG thing" but I would happily recommend them based on their CS and live show.

Exactly Rusty. And to actually lie to me and say "awww shucks, gee whiz, you were SIXTH", when in fact they hadn't even picked the winners as yet. Not kosher in my books.

No problem at all with offering n/d chips only to people who have thus far deposited. They may want to include that term in their next newsletter, to avoid another scenario like this.

I, too, loved the live show, but I'm turned off playing there for the following reasons:
I emailed one of their casino reps on here back in April....never heard a word back from them.
Brought up in a thread on here about a contest win...BrianBuzz simply ignored it. Not good in my books as I look at it like this...if they turn a blind eye to a measley $10, what *might* happen with a whole heck of alot more in $$'s.
Thirdly, never heard diddly squat from the representative assigned to me.
So Im not going to waste my money converting to play in their currency if this is how it is going to be :)

I bet the emails were ordered most recent to oldest...

Well, if this in fact the case, the casino should correct it's error. Another 100euros in free chips that carry a WR and a max cashout to comply with the contest rules would be appropriate.

Of course, you can't have mine back:p.

I did use the email link to respond though, which had a subject line already inserted...they may have sorted in that manner. I included my real name and my account information of course in my response.

And the email I received announcing my lucky win outlined that my max cashout as a depositing player was 10X...If I was a non-depositing player it would have been limited to the 20euros.

Personally, I would rather see contests spread over a slightly longer period of time than a few minutes (or less) to be the first to answer. Not all of us sit on top of our email, so a random draw of correct answers for anyone entering by a closing time (same day even) would be more appropriate IMO.

I hope Buzzluck answers here.

Not good in OUR books EITHER. I'll check on this this morning and sort it.

As for contest emails issues, will look into that asap as well, although I do know response was overwhelming. We DON'T limit contests to depositing players only--or when we do, it IS stipulated!

New slots are now Live as well.
