That's wagered, NOT deposited.. lol

And I take 100% coupons on nearly every deposit.... so its really really tough.... avg bet size when hit about $1.50

Way to go on your wins However many players, the staple players of a casino are low rollers and while 1.50 a spin isnt particularly high its a lot higher than a lot of players spin at which reduces their chances greatly of hitting one. In my view RG`s should be awarded as just that randomly to any player at any stake instead of giving higher preference to the people who wager say 6.25 a spin. Of course the people who do bet higher will argue they should get a higher chance of winning and their probably right but i would say a casinos main revenue line or their bread and butter if you will are the low rollers and RTG is driving them away in droves because eventually these people realise their chances of hitting one is nigh on nil. Of course the Rg`s get won on 25 cent bets but id bet your bottom dollar it isnt many compared to the players who wager much higher.

Im pretty sure RTG randoms are impossible to hit .
Allthough I have been playing only a year on rtg. Maybe Ill hit one someday (or maybe not).

I've hit 1 major RJ in 12 years ($3000 at Bovada 5 years ago).

I've hit 2 jackpots on 3 reelers at 3Dice, for around 2.5k each, but they aren't random.

I know a guy who used to have 3 computers running pretty much 24/7 playing RTG slots at .20c per spin. He did hit some RJs, but I'm not convinced he was that far ahead at the end of the day. Plus, many RTGs cut you off if they detect you doing this...at least that's what happened to him.

Just hit my 3rd Random at RTG in the last 2 weeks. 5 years and hit 1 or 2.. and then last 2 weeks hit 3 for $5600, $4500 and $3300 -- $1.60 to $2.75 bet sizes. Of course, I put half of it back in but still amazing to behold. 2 of them on Diamond Dozen and the other on Wizard something. I wouldn't PLAY RTG for the randoms but at least they exist and go off now and then -- IF LUCKY.

Well yeh. That is true, it is kind of stubid complain, since have not been playing em for too long. But since they are not too big: around 1k-3k(sometimes more). It feels like they should not be so hard to hit.

I have hit one for just over $1k betting $1.75 and one on a Free Chip for over $5k in the 4-5 years I have played RTG.

A thought, if you win an RJ using a Free Chip that has a max cashout the Casino would not have to pay the Jackpot

The way I understand it RJ's are built up by taking a small % of all monies deposited into the slots which adds to the RJ, should the Casino reset the RJ's it does not have to pay out on?, I understand he Casino's need to not have to pay out thousands to someone who never even deposited, just took a freebie, but the RJ money should end up going to a player as they are the ones who helped build the Jackpot, JMHO

in other words the Jackpot is really built up from players money and forms part of the overall RTP, surely not paying it will lower the RTP? maybe RTG could arrange their software so a Free Chip could not trigger an RJ as it would not be paid anyway, this would leave the RJ intact for depositing players.

Nothing against free chips, I have used them myself, but no-one wants to win something you cannot possibly have.

I'm quite surprised no one has mentioned so far the Marvel random jackpots at Playtech?! IMHO, these are the most achievable randoms at low betting. For approximately 1 000 000 wagered at Bet365 and Betfair back in 2009-2010, playing only Marvel based slots at low rolling (0,20-1,00) I hit 8 jackpots! 5 times Power jackpot, worth between 240 to 500 euro and 3 times Extra Power jackpot - 2500, 2700 and 3000 euro! Hit it probably 25-30 times for less than a year and never ever managed to get anything other than the mini one. I have hit the Marvel Jackpots a few times (The Lowest One)... This was when I was betting $2.50 or more on every occasion. The Marvel Jackpots are also weighted towards higher bets like RTG Progressives but winning it on a small bet is possible.

In any event, my best on MG was the second level on LOTR - I was lucky one day and hit it for over $300 on a $0.30c bet (They usually go at about $100)...

If there is a same chance of hittin RJ betting 100$ against 0,2$. Would not the rtp for 100$ bets be lower then for the 0,2$ bets?
