Random Jackpots @ RTG!!

I know it's "RANDOM." So many members here have hit them. I am not one of these members--yet. I never play the Real Series Slots for the RJ. I generally try to ignore it because I don't want it to influence my best judgement about getting into and out of a game.

Sure, there have been times when I see that $14,000 and kept playing a freezing cold machine much longer because I had that feeling that maybe, just maybe it would be MINE.

For those of you who have won one and many others who have won multiple RJs would you mind sharing you story? I'm most interested in:

How long you had been playing RTG Real Series overall, i.e. months, years. What was your wager--my understanding is you have an equal chance on a 20 cent wager as a $20 wager.

Has anyone been successful targeting RJs on 20 cent spins exclusively with the primary goal of hitting the RJ? This would be a great way at least in theory, to play a long time on little money with chance of a big return.

Also, are these RJs just as likely to trigger the next spin after it is hit and reset to $1000 as is is to trigger when it's at 20k? If it is truly random then there can only be one answer to this question.

Finally, I know it's "RANDOM" but I've been at it hard now for a good 3 years and still no RJ. Don't you think I'm due? LOL I know that is absurd. Still as a gambler I am superstitious. Eventually I should hit one . . . right?

Royal Flush in VP when playing for FUN! How awful is that? I mean, you wasted one of your Royals (as if we are predestined by GOD to get a certain number per lifetime lol) playing for FUN! That's not fun at all.

My fear is that I'll finally hit that RJ when playing on a "Free Chip." What a bummer that would be. Still, on tournaments, the RJ grows at an astounding pace. I agree that if you hit one it should count as part of your tournament score, is that what you are saying?

Had my share of luck. Hit a RJ @0.20 per spin at Inetbet(Diamond Dozen) for slightly more than 1K. Hit a minor JP at Lucky Red(Basketbull) @25c per spin. Worst was Grande Vegas where I hit the JP on 3Stooges II. That was for $3.5 K but only got $100 as it was from a free chip.

To conclude, RJs can be won from small-sized bets ie 0.01 per line for max lines but its once in a blue moon for that to happen. Just think about it. You play $100 per spin at Slotocash tournies. You get a bankroll of 10K but how often do you hit a RJ with that amount per spin? Not worth chasing IMHO.

Thats a nightmare. I had a very similar experience hitting a RJ in Red Flush 4K on a free chip. Since then I play only games with a small jackpot amount, when playing with a free chip. Any win is ok, but looking at a huge balance of not withdrawable money is horrible .

Not true. You are 100 times more likely to hit an RJ spinning at $20 than you are at 20c.

There are two probable ways these RJ's trigger, I believe it is the first way as that is most common at land based.

When the RJ has paid it randomly chooses a figure between the bottom and top range, bottom is $1,000 top would be preprogrammed. lets say it chooses $11,235.60, whoever makes the jackpot contribution that hit this figure wins the jackpot. A higher stake has more chance at it is contributing a higher amount. At 1% contribution a $100 stake is contributing $1 so can hit it any time the accumulated RJ is over $11,234.60, a $1 stake would need the RJ to be $11,235.59 as it is only contributing a cent.

The other way would be to pick another random number from the RNG, after the first 5 numbers for the reels a 6th number of say between 1 and a million would be chosen, if number 123,456 is the jackpot trigger number then anyone getting that would win, to factor in the higher stakes every 20 cent bet would be given 1 number a $2 bet would have 10 numbers and a $100 bet would have 500 chances, it would be a lot more than a million numbers though

I strongly favour the first way as it is a lot simpler to do. With this method the RJ can't be won from free spins, only a paid spin, but could be won on the spin that triggers the free spins. The second method would allow it to be won during free spins unless programmed otherwise.

As far as I know, an RJ can be won on any BET, and freespins are not a bet, but the result of a bet. So the triggering spin is your bet.

Actually went and read a help file, it's at the conclusion of any game... so after freespins are done, and jackpots are added to any other win.

Some of the symbol driven jackpots (Like Naughty or Nice) can be won during freespins, and for instance Medal Tally, can ONLY be won with freespins.

I'm not the heaviest RTG player, but it has been around 5 years. I've hit a minor on Triple Twister when the game first game out, the first one with a minor jackpot. Coincidently, hit the Jackpot on Bank on It the same night (not progressive at that casino on the $1 machine). I've also won the Jackpot on Return of the Rudolph, which is symbol driven (5 scatters) last fall. Both were $1 bets.

one thing i noticed for sure. When i am thinking and chasing it will never happen, when I am just spinning and having a bit of fun, it might pop.

But, a lot of times i had hits that paid much more then current Random Jackpot on given game. So, its better to just play a game and have fun, rather then chase that incredible jackpot.

I have won major RJ at High Noon for $2500 and Jackpot Capital for $1600. Have hit the minor RJ many times at Inetbet and Slotastic-sometimes they hit and it is quite a shock- screen just puts up and fireworks go off- don't happen often but they do hit. I generally play $5 a spin and go down to $3 when balance gets under $100. Good luck hitting one.

The best random jackpot story I read was the lady that hit 4 or 5 of them at INetBet 4/5 days in a row. She won around 37k I believe and got paid really fast. It was a couple years ago. Think they were all different games.

I've hit one, think it was greenlight at All Stars or something close to that. Was betting .40 and it paid out around $1,600 or so. Remember contacting CS immediately through live chat making sure that the bonus claimed allowed RJs. It did.

I've read of people chasing them but don't recall someone saying it paid off doing that...
