Have decided to terminate my account at Betfred, where I have been a very high level player (VIP) for a while.
Whilst I cannot fault the Customer Services and have build up an excellent rapport with the VIP managers -
The reasons are–
A) The bonuses are abysmal. Was always promised at some point a ‘cash drop’ of up to £1000 (its on the main page too for VIPs, making it seem like it will happen at some point). The most I have ever received is £75, I think, and that’s only after asking. Have had a couple of decent deposit matches (£500 max on perhaps a £2000 deposit) but nowhere near close to what other establishments offer, and often offer on EVERY deposit.
Very small cash back payments on losses, I think 5%.
When I say I am a high level player, I am talking deposits of £5,000+ per week and probably wagering approx £25,000+ per week. I play £10/£20 spins on the slots. I cannot even COUNT how much I deposited during December, but it was in the multiple thousands. I understand I have been quite lucky at Betfred and have not often come away ‘down’ but I don’t see why this should work against wanting to keep my loyalty as a high roller. We all know it will come back and bite me at some point, and when playing at this level, surely that should be valuable.
B) Have a constant technical glitch/error message which interferes with my play sessions. It is quite minor on a technical level but enough to bother me. I have reported it twice to my VIP managers and never received any resolution nor compensation for the games it was ruining for me.
I want to give my loyalty to a casino that values my play and do not feel this is happening particularly at Betfred. This has been PM’d to the rep as per the rules and it is with reluctance that I plan to take this step, so any imput as to my possible ‘unreasonable’-ness or any chance of a last minute incentive to stay there, I’d be interested.
As it last stood, the VIP manager (Paul) said there was nothing further he could offer me.
