Hello Everyone,
I've tried to find out as much information as possible, read as many threads as I could find, and read the articles in these
threads, so as not to annoy anyone, or sound completely idiotic. :) But, I just still don't understand. I just enjoyed playing
at the casinos.....Not really much into the legality of it. I had $1550 in my Quicktender account that was seized. I followed
the trail, and finally talked to the District Attorney in Jacksonville, Florida. She informed me that the funds were indeed seized by her office, and there was no way for me to receive my money back. She said she could send me a claim form, and I could complete it, and we would see what happens. I asked her to do that, but that was 4 weeks ago, and I still haven't received a claim form. I'm just wondering from some of you that know more about legality and maybe what is happening with these funds, if it's worth fighting and to try to get it back, or if everyone else has just given up on ever seeing their money again. I just can't believe that the U.S. government can do this. It's really annoying.....greatest country on Earth right? LOL. :(

Maybe, try again near election time.

The USA, in my opinion, have bigger fish to fry , unless this is a bigger issue for the candidates....they couldn't give a damn.

It's ok to play the Lottery, to fund education,etc...gambling is gambling. Let's regulate online gambling.

I want to have the freedom to do what I want to do unless it hurts another person. Just freedom...the restraints I am feeling now are just too much.

Sorry for the rant...but the USA...Land of the 'Free'. I agree.

Back when they were allowing withdrawals I set up an account with Euro denomination and then requested a withdrawal. They sent em an email saying it was accepted and in process..... it never arrived. it was a large amount also.

The OP is very unclear.

If the money was withdrawn from QT via wire in early May, then that money was indeed seized by the USAO and you are most likely fucked.

If the money was in your quicktender account when it went offline, then you had the opportunity to withdraw it in July, and missed the boat. Your money was absorbed by EcoCard ... your best bet is to harass them.

GreaseMonkey ... I would contact EcoCard and go absolutely apenuts about not receiving your wire. Sounds like they failed to send it.

FYI ... I did receive my funds from QT after requesting a wire in July to a USD account. Minus about 10% in currency conversion + whatever other bullshit fees they added.

I value my freedom and I wouldn't have sent the form in. Wouldn't want to implicate myself. I'd have just written it off and chosen to stay out of jail / prison, but that's just me.......

Asking a government official to help you recover your funds is the same as admitting to an illegal activity. (In the eyes of the law here) I would never admit to committing a crime, even if I didn't agree with the law.
