Questions, suggestions & parting shots !

I didn't know what to call this thread so it's a mish mash of what I am going to talk about.

As human nature prevails, I have been expressing some concerns about my current downturn in the MGS casinos for the last month or so, but personally I am not the kind of person to dwell on the negative as I truly believe in " if you don't like a situation change it ".

So, I have decided to give it a final good crack at the MGS casino in the next 2 weeks and put this to rest. If the downturn continues I will cancel all MGS casinos and concentrate on others and get back to the land based ones ( yes I will still be a gambler lol). I have assigned about $5k for my last stint.

Also, since I will be doing this I also want to record every single click as a reminder of my parting shots.

Now the questions:

  1. What casino would you suggest I should try this at ... I have Gaming Club, Royal Vegas and ofc 32Red on my list ?
  2. What games you think I should try ... I normally play 100 lines like TS2 , Alaskan fishing, cashapillar and Isis ...
  3. Anyone know any good video/screen recorders for Slots?

Cheers
Sunny

IMO

I am in the USA do I can't play at MG however back in the day when I could I loved and did well with both ISIS and Alaskan Fishing. There was another one that I loved and did well with, trying to think of the name....I remember a boat trying to find Ms Charlotte. It was one if the newer ones right before we could play anymore but I did good with that one. As far as casinos, I would play 32Red, all you hear about them is generally good. Good luck to you, hope you win!!

I am so jealous of all of you who can still play MG. It's been a while since I've played any online casinos, so if I name a non- MG game please forgive this old lady:D (they say the mind is the first thing to go, and I can't remember what the next thing is...:p)

I always had a love/hate relationship with Tally Ho, but when it would hit I always came out good.
Frankencash, always seemed to hit features within a relatively "sane" amount of spins, imo
Naughty or Nice
Isis
There's one like Isis but it's cars (big help huh?)
(And now my mind has gone totally blank, I think the 3 hours of sleep I've gotten since early Saturday night is beginning to show. Guess I better take a nap and refresh, maybe I can think of some more, but probably not:D)

You can't just move on without playing some on Deck The Halls, Rhyming Hearts&Tarts, Centre court and my other Santagame, Santa's wild ride

But please this time. Try to play just for the fun of it and lower your betsize. You don't have to win 50K. Try to play just to have a good time:D

How much are you trying to win?

$5000 in a 2 week period. To minimize your risk you should spread it out over a longer period.

Your risk tolerance seems rather HIGH.

Test the game with some low rolling. Change up your coin size/value.

REMEMBER to breathe and don't just recklessly click "spin"

It may not make a difference but the RNG is not going to have "win" "win" every second. Leave at least a minimum of a few seconds. Also a suggestion would not be to use the "auto spin" for more than 10 spins. The auto spins just seems like a gimmick to guarantee that you keep on spinning. It spins at exact intervals unless you hit something/feature/bonus so. That is not to say that the Auto spin is rigged.

Thanks for all the suggestions... Please keep them coming as I haven't decided the date I will commence.

Also, one of the most important points, please if anyone could tell me a good slots recording app... As I would like to have a video win or lose.

Thanks
Sunny

Thanks for your suggestion and I appreciate your point of view... But I have been having a dry spell at MGS for the last month, hence this is my final straw so I do not want to keep dragging this on. With regards to winning, I bet big but I don't expect to hit 50k or even 10k like I did before that would be a bit illogical for me to expect it ( although it would be nice) , what I expect is to see if I am getting decent returns from it... If not.. I stop and no hard feelings towards MGS, just means my luck has run out. Hence, I will be recording the entire click "marathon" :)

One of the newish games I like a lot is Ruby of the Nile - if you can catch some free spins on that one when it's paying out, it can really boost your bankroll. It does have some long dry spells though. Another one is Kings and Queens, it's like Avalon with an extra wild during free spins. Also Reel Baron, the feature is 10 spins and each spin the multiplier goes up one.

Hope you hit something big - lol, but if you play my recommendations and lose, please don't sue. ;)

If you're on a losing streak, and not enjoying playing... why keep playing? Take a break for a while... especially from slots. Play blackjack ... or video poker... if you insist on playing. Or if it must be slots, play for lower stakes so your bankroll lasts longer. And don't look at the winning screen shots section.

(I would give my eye teeth to be able to play MG casinos again. LOL)

If it's no fun playing... and getting cleaned out everytime is likely... then don't do it.

Mousey's question and suggestion and 2 cents for the day.

Thanks for your suggestion although I didn't see any suggestions to my questions lol ... Also, sorry if you misunderstood me but I never said I don't enjoy playing at all ... But thanks all the same

Being slightly pedantic here SAunny but TSII is not a 100 line slot it`s 243 lines 3x3x3x3x3 = 243 :p, as far as slots go I would play Grand Journey at $12 a spin until you hit loose mode at 32Red.

Anyway`s gl with this ;).
Yep - I agree with this.
Definitely 32Red - and definitely have a shot at some of the lower variance slots rather that the high variance ones you mentioned in your post.
You can still get some pretty decent hits on LV slots, and even if you are still losing, at least you get a better amount of playtime for your money!

Grand Journey is a good suggestion, and I would also add these to your list to check-out (in no particular order, except A-Z!):
Buffet Bonanza
Cashville
Dragon's Loot
Glory of Rome
Jungle Jim
Loaded
Mad Hatters
Moonshine
Scoop the Cash
Soccer Safari
Sunset Showdown
The Great Galaxy Grab
The Osbournes

If you have the patience for it, you should REALLY try all of these in "fun mode" for at least a 1000 spins each so that you get familiar with each one and what the features do. Some of them have great picking bonuses and some have super free-spins with high multipliers.

Good luck!

They're all decent casinos, I would probably go for RV or 32Red. Gun to my head if I had to pick one it'd probably be 32red, although RV has a bigger bonus for the kind of deposit you're talking about (if you're into that kind of thing). I also quite like ladbrokes who, like the others you mentioned, offer play in AUD (which I'm guessing from your location is preferable?). Ladbrokes aren't accredited at CM though, just FYI.

Santas Wild Ride is quirky and quite fun - I'd suggest starting there. A lot of screenshots seem to have appeared for Immortal Romance so you might also want to check that out. Other fun ones are BDBA, Hitman and Tombraider.

Also, if you haven't already, have a play on some of the awp/pub slots - they can be good if you're looking for something a bit different!

Anyone know any good video/screen recorders for Slots?

I use BB Flashback which is also available as a free 'express' version. It's by far the best free one I've found and does the job nicely! Here's a link:

Good luck & have fun

Agree with KK, trying them in fun mode gives you a feel for each of the games.

Loaded was one of my favs
Halloweenies
Cashville
Witch Doctor (old game, but I seemed to always do good at it)
The Osbournes
Ladies Night
Alaskan Fishing
Avalon

Some great slots in there, been so long since I played Galaxy Grab and there is huge potential with this slot if you time your high rolling with the respective bonus (3rd one iirc) in mind, I spend an unhealthy amount of time in fun mode and a slot that has really caught my attention is the new flash only Jekyll and Hyde, I hit a 7.5k feature hit for £25 the other day :eek2:, also, Grand Journey has some awesome win streaks including nigh on consecutive free spin features, but, the top side of this slot is it isn`t feature rounds dependant for a big hit .

Yes that's right - the 3rd bonus.
When I used to play that slot a LOT I used to nearly always get the top pay on that feature (Burger = bet x 50).
However, my last few times I didn't get it so either my luck ran out - or they tweaked the slot... :(

The other problem with that is it takes something round 160 spins on average (gut feeling - no stats!) to trigger the feature, so you need to do in the order of 1000 spins between every "feature No.3".

Feature 1 is also pretty good as you are always guaranteed 6 prizes, but the other 4 features can be totally crap.

Indeed, but GG is another slot that shows tell tale signs of a nice and loose session and that`s decent open play hits to keep your balance topped up between hitting features, pre TSII release etc my good MGS sessions would all have 2-4 slots to thank - Mermaids Millions, Reel Strike, Dino Might and Loaded, the best of these for the hit and raise strategy was Reel Strike, MM was similar but would bottom out around £7.50p a spin, whereas Reel Strike would take or break you, neither seem to do this anymore whereas MM to me now, appears to be higher variance and would rather give you that huge wild combo hit in free spins, than nigh on consecutive x5 reels high end hits at a climbing stake, I completely gave up on Reel Strike nowadays.

Another slot that imho plays completely different is Silver Fang I remember the good old days when chasing that oh so illusive free spins would be so goddam rewarding, but now it`s following that all to common path of easier to hit free spin rounds but pitiful returns, I had some awesome screenies from this slot but lost them a year or so ago when I administered some 14lb sledge hammer relief to my ailing hard drive lol, I did manage to find this one though...........

260xSilverFangfreespins.webp

A par for the course x260 bet return, as was the way with this type of slot, you either gambled and got the FS`s or you didn`t, but hell, if you did hit them, oh boy, sit back and enjoy those stacked wild hits ;).

My suggestion: 32Red and Only 32Red....

PM support and tell them of your intention to deposit and how much per shot. Ask them what they are willing to offer you as a match for that deposit.

If Bonuses are not what interest you, I would play the following games:

Santas Wild Ride
Immortal Romance
Lord of the Rings
Break Da Bank Again

All very high variance... Hit or go home :)

My best pays on Santas Wild Ride came AFTER 500 + spins - dead features then boom.

Stick with 32Red but use one of their other brands to freshen things up: Dash would be my choice. Play Thunderstruck II starting at $4.50 a spin and increasing your bet $.50 every 100 spins until you hit a bonus, then back down again. Play the Instant Play version rather than the Downlod version.

That would be my suggestion for a "fresh start" anyway and with $5k you'll get a good run and some decent hits :)

I truly appreciate all the suggestions and posts, but I have to commend baldidiot on his very articulate post. Thanks all !

I will start dipping my toes in tonight ... Can't wait for another 6 hours at work lol

Not much more I can add, as I agree with most of the others here, albeit there are some other MGS that may suit you, 32Red still outshines them if you manage to hit big and want your payment fast.

Good Luck with what ever you decide mate!

P.S I will add something, as I see most of the suggestions are high variance slots, why not try large bets on low/medium slots like Moonshine, Munchkins, Frankencash (spelling) etc...these still have the potential to hit.. but will also give you longer playtime and more bonus rounds or even $4.50+ a crack on good old Thunderstruck or any of those clones.

Something tells me I am about to sacrifice the 5k on MGS lol

I dipped my toes in at Royal Vegas last night for $200 just to test the waters. Took all the suggestions here ( except for 32Red ... But that would be one of the ones I play in my main finale). ... So I did low rolling for a bit.... Changed machines etc etc .... But the outcome was exactly what I expected.

I am looking forward to recording all my clicks to show when the river runs dry... Doesn't matter what you do :)

Update soon!

Well sAunny I have been waiting for an update on how you did with your 5,000 dollars. Also any video yet?

Sorry to keep you all waiting ... I have been flat out with my business and personal stuff. I promise I always keep my word ... It will happen soon ... I can assure you it's not the money or my urge to gamble lol ... Just the technical setup and personal time to do so ... We just moved into our new house a couple of weeks back and had dramas with getting fibre optic cabling through the house to get super fast Internet ... And Telstra taking 3 weeks to install my service which is still not 100% ... Etc etc ...

I have just spoken with Pat to do another mini run today with about 500$ + to test the video and my connection out ... Nothing worse than Internet dropping out when I am on a roll lol.

Please stay tuned ... I appreciate all your patience.

Thanks
Sunny
