I don't understand how all of you hit these great hits all the time!!!

Fill me in please :notworthy ...I was talking to my husband and he said, "well you don't know how much they are spending"

I usually deposit anywhere from $50-$100 and I ALWAYS come out with nothing, and when I say nothing, I mean I don't even hit over a few dollars on any spin and my money just goes down, never going up...I was playing at a playtech casino but since changed to "The Gaming Club"...

So my question would be how much are you all spending? And how much do you wager on your spins?

I am usually a low wager person...always under $1 a spin....is that the wrong way to do it? Should I do a higher wager?

(I am only a slot player)

I know how you feel

I have gone through extended periods of not cashing out a dime, but it comes back, sometimes with a fury. No guarantees on that, though.

I almost never deposit more than $100, most times $50 or less. As much as I like MG's and Playtech's softwares, I do much better at RTG's, and the ones I play at pay much faster. Plus they have lower denomination Video Poker, which is what I usually play, for those times when I don't have enough bankroll to play quarters. I pretty much stay away from the slots unless I have a few straggling dollars. If they aren't playing, I'm not staying, either. Well most of the time. Sometimes they are so fun you hate to quit.

I don't think there is a magic formula to winning, but it does increase your odds if you play games with lower house odds like blackjack with good rules and video poker with optimum payout schedules.

Just plain luck has a lot to do with it though. I hope it's your turn next time.

I think it is really just a a matter of luck. I almost always hit very good wins but have a hard time cashing out. If you play for low stakes you will stay in the game a little longer and maybe gat a good bonus round. I deposit amywhere from $20 to $300. I have had many great wins I could have posted in the Winners Screenshots section but I still cant figure out how to do it! Even though many people here have kindly tried to help me.

I tend to deposit up to say $600. What I normally do is bet semi-big ($5 - $7) and if i hit a good win, up the bet to big ones ($10 - $13) in a "make or break" scenario. Then if it's a lucky day, play on cashing out as I go, if not then I wait 'til another day and start over. Often means I'm only playing for 30 mins or an hour, but on the occasional days when the big hits roll in it makes up for it :)

When playing slots as a low roller you should go for bonuses if you dont mind a wagering requirement. I would say the bonus should be at least 100%, which is
easy to find. Actually some MG casinos offer 200-300% first deposit bonuses.
Why not use them?

When playing 25 line (0.25$) you will very rarely get some high wins. Even hitting the 5 wilds normally pay 50-100$, which isnt much. I would instead
play fewer lines and then higher bet. I prefer playing 5 lines and total bet
of 0.25$ or 0.50$. If I have to clear a very high wagering requirement I would maybe go to 1$ total bet.

Play Isis if you want to go for the huge wins, but also very long time between them. Actually I would say Isis is you best chance for clearing a bonus, you will need high wins to be able to make it. So if you have to choose between some of your favorite slots, take the one with the highest variance.

I also only depsoit $50 to $100 into each casino each month.
You can see how much people are wagering on the spins in the screenshots.

I am also a low-roller and prefer the bonus video slots. With these I normally start at 2c/line and gradually increase it the longer it goes without the feature hitting.
I very rarely bet more than $1/spin - most of the time it's half that.
I've still hit some nice wins though - as posted above, it's all luck really!
Hope you have lots of it!

Please be aware that many of those "great hits" you see are not so great as they may look to a low roller. For example if you see someone has won say $1000 you say "Wow" but many times they were betting say $10/spin so really the win was 100 times their bet which would be like you hitting $25 on a quarter bet. That $1000 will be gone in a matter of minutes if doesnt hit again.
I am not trying to discourage you but keep this in mind when looking at the winners screenshots. Good Luck!

Stick with what you are comfortable with. I have had some very nice wins at a 0.25 bet, especially with Isis. On the flip side I have had some dry spells, but I rarely deposit over 50.00. Over time it usually comes back. Sometimes you just go on a streak. When I have had some good runs and built up my bankroll, in turned raised my bet, I can't really say I have had any more success with the larger wins. Just a matter of timing I think.

Bonus slots.

After being a medium roller, and occasionally a high roller, I tried some sessions as a low roller, not betting max coins and using the .01, .02 and .05 denominations. I seemed to have more good bonus rounds in terms of multiple of stake, although not absolute amount. This is not always the case though, and the dry spells still exists.

I have heard that the best way to decide how much to bet is to use a percentage of your overall bankroll for the day. The lower the percentage, the longer it will last. Often, jumping from game to game can help. I have found that if a game stays poor for a while it stays that way for good. Sometimes I have hit bad game after bad game, but the good spells seem to be when a game plays well, and plays well again when I return to it.

If clearing a WR on slots is the only thing preventing a cash-in, then best go for the low variance 3 reel slots, or standard video slots if a low enough coin is offered. Carnaval and What a Hoot at 0.45 a spin can keep you going for ages while finishing off a WR.

Sometimes casinos have a lucky draw among all players of a particular slot. If this just requires the slot to be played, and not a particular amount, then there is no harm in having a couple of spins as you might win a prize, normally $50 or so, but will be much appreciated by the low roller!

I am always a low roller. I deposit $100 flat. If I lose it, I quit. If I win $150, I leave. Now for those times when I get signup bonuses, I can gamble more, but the deposit will never be more than $100. The only time, it's more than 100 is when the match bonuses are greater. Always max out the bonuses if you feel the wager requirements are within reason. I've been at slot casinos where I would deposit $50 and leave with $280 after doing the bonuses. That's a hefty percentage gain of 460%. That's simply insane.
