I dont know what to say honestly. The rules were clear and most importantly I was the person who asked about bonus rule and was given a straight answer that bonus funds were not allowed.

Yes the rules were clear. It was OK to participate to the promo with a deposit bonus at the time I got my score.

Do you understand what a flood of complaints changing rules like this during a bigger promo would induce? And how much I deposited / lost is not relevant.

@LadyJelena could you kindly give your opinion on the issue at hand? There has been similar issues with past promos if I'm not mistaken

It's pretty obvious bonus funds shouldn't be allowed in any competition. That would give new users an advantage, that have yet to use the welcome bonus, as they could have much bigger balance to play with than normally. It would never even cross my mind to take a bonus and then attempt to participate in a competition. Most sites have blocked access to tourneys and other wagering-related promos with bonus funds, so why would Energy be any different?

Just because something isn't strictly outlined and specified doesn't mean it's allowed. No one can possibly write all-inclusive rules that cover any and all loopholes.

It was my first deposit at Energy btw as well, and I didn't take the bonus. Common sense and all that.'

His screenshot is from 1st of October, given the filename of his upload. Ofc the filename could be changed but I highly doubt that. However I still don't know about bonus funds being allowed or not.. ofc it's up to Marco in the end but yea..

The screenshot is from the 1st and the no-bonus rule was applied on the 4th.

Especially when the 1st thing in the promo terms say that Standard bonus T&C are in place.

Or maybe just clarified? Like come on, why would you be allowed to participate in comps with bonus money. That's just unfair.

There have been similar situations in the past as well yes, and in such situations it's also been mentioned that is is literally impossible to write catch-all rules to cover any and all loopholes.

I believe in one competition for highest multiplier the person achieved it by playing the double up feature in a slot at minimum bet. It wasn't specified in the rules so it should be allowed? WRONG. It wasn't allowed. And it should not have been either.

We are talking about online gambling so IMO restriction of bonus funds is one of the most basic things one has to state in promo terms.

Applied as in introduced. There was no restriction of bonus funds in the first couple of days no matter what you make of it

Rules regarding bonuses are one of the most common and important in online gambling after all.

tbh I recommend using neteller or skill if you want your money instantly. You can even add a virtual card from those to your phone so I don't even bother moving money out of my neteller account.
