So your best friend, brother, sister, neighbor asks you of a few poker rooms he/she should be playing at. You know the software graphics and speed, the volume of players, the reputation of the operators and the payouts promptness. You also know that there are a couple of casinos/sportsbooks out there who are among the most reputable in the industry... but whose hands are tied when it comes to Prima Poker Network policies.

I've just read Bryan's newsletter about software providers with a 'hands off' attitude in regards to their operators behaviour. But when it comes to poker, you have those highly regarded establishments who, by associating themselves to an organization known for its scrupulous investigation department, end up locking accounts for months and directing the suspect to the poker network authorities.

What do you make of it? Do you consider this as one of the best security system in the poker industry or the consequence of zealous procedures? How can you recommend operations like 32Red, Bet365 and, soon to be, Pinnacle Sports when their response to such lengthy investigation process is the usual 'it is out of our hands'?

Would you send your friend/brother/sister/neighbor to those top organizations, knowing that their responsibility stops the moment Prima red-flags a player?

Just in case this post sounded like a diatribe, I am actually asking for your opinion as I am an active player of the three mentioned operators... but not of their poker room.

Personally I would say no. They are one of the biggest networks out there and a lot of top name UK bookmakers use them as their pokerroom but I have read one to many dodgy thing about Prima.

And on a sidenote the actual software is very poor and resourse hungry, as has been discussed in other threads.

i stay away from prima poker, support is terrible, the only thing the poker sites can do is give you money/bonuses, prima poker is incharge of everything, and its not the biggest out the
i belive
pokerstars
party poker
ultimate bet
pokerroom
paradise poker
are all bigger then all of prima poker sites combined and they are all linked
kinda fishy to me, i play pokerstars pokerroom and ultimate bet only
i woulda touch prima poker with a 10 foot poll and thats including 32 red, and all the repatable sites, i only have an active account with bet365 because of large freerolls

prima network is meh.. If you're looking for great software and support Stars is where it's at. If you want fish, go to party
